Keyboard Driver Filter doesn't work in 6.0.2

We're aware that the NI Keyboard Driver Filter may cause the computer to hang in the middle of shutdown (Windows XP) if a USB keyboard is used, so we substituted a PS-2 keyboard. This worked fine.
Then, when we updated Lookout 6.0.1 to 6.0.2, making sure that the Keyboard Driver Filter was installed, we found that the Keyboard Driver Filter did not work. It was still possible for a user with a lower priority to reach the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del.
We need to protect Lookout from being accidentally closed by users "playing" with the keyboard.
How do we get this function back?

I got something from R&D. The keyboard filter in Lookout 6.0.2 has some bugs, which cause it not to work and also some other unexpected problems. That means the filter in 6.0.2 doesn't work at all.
You'd better uninstall the whole Lookout 6.0.2 and then install it again without keyboard filter. After that, you need to install the keyboard filter shipped with DSC 8.0.1, which has fixed those bugs. See the attachment.

The Filter defined will only be run in the context that it is defined in. Since you are creating a new context, you will have to assign a new Filter. BTW, why not include the static content in the WAR with the dynamic stuff?

Why does fcpx suddenly stop reading audio files? ever since i upgraded to Yosemite. Than when I check it on my hard drive it doesn't work as well. Only this file. Am in a trouble of delivering now. Any help?

Could be systems logs or some other system file growing.
Use OmniDiskSweeper or DaisyDisk to map what's being used.

Apple has changed the way Kotoeri keyboard layouts work. You should be able to get normal behavior if you activate the US layout and switch to that just before using Kotoeri. Here is also an Apple note on the topic with another suggestion:

Terminal Services - drive redirection doesn't work.

I have got two Terminal servers on Windows 2012 DataCenter(T1 and T2) + AD on Windows 2012 DataCenter.
My problem is, that on a terminal T2 drive redirection doesn't work(also printers and clipboard).
I tried the following things:
- GPO on AD (Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\Terminal Server\Device and Resource Redirection\Do not allow drive redirection=DISABLE).
- local GPO on terminal T2 (Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\Terminal Server\Device and Resource Redirection\Do not allow drive redirection=DISABLE).
- FW is disabled on both terminals.
- Terminal configuration allows to redirect drives and printers.
- I tried to login with domain account and local account, on both account redirection doesn't work.
- System Logs seem to be alright.
- Of course on the client side I mark redirect local drives.
Both terminals are the same, both are VM(T2 is a clone of T1).
Please help...

Thank you for posting in windows Server Forum.
Have you check the firewall rules? Please check that ports/ firewall is not blocking the drive to get redirected. For firewall try to disable the firewall and check. You can use below command on the client.
netsh firewall set opmode mode=disable
This will eliminate the firewall altogether; assuming you are using Windows firewall. Otherwise, disable any other firewall / blocking software and see how it reacts without firewall. Additionally, go back into RDP and manually "set" those options
to allows Disk Drive Mapping and Printer pass-through.

Nokia Drive + beta "Drive to" doesn't work on Lumi...

Seems like Nokia Drive + beta doesn't work on my Lumia 920. I'm currently in Macedonia and trying to get directions from one location in Skopje to another always gives me the message: "Sorry , can't find your route. Navigation is not yet available in your country. Please go back."
I have the Macedonia map downloaded, and I have checked the list of supported countries, where Macedonia does appear. Nokia Maps seems to have no problem finding a route between the same two locations, but Nokia Drive + beta keeps giving me that message.

I wonder if we can get someone in tech support at Nokia to read this. I've tried contacting their support chat but we didn't get far (or anywhere for that matter). I'd like to know whether this issue is known or not, and whether a fix is planned. If it's an isolated case, what can I do to make it right? I'm willing to work with someone in order to get this resolved.

Junk mail filter doesn't work all the time

Why doesn't the Junk mail filter work all the time? I click on mail like from Best Buy or Omni Hotels to go into junk mail but hardly any of their mail goes into Junk. Other sites go directly to Junk. If I click on a Best Buy mail to indicate it's Junk, shouldn't that work 100% of the time forever and ever?

The Junk filter is based on an analysis of the content of the message. It ignores the sender. (Filtering based on the sender is an ineffective way of dealing with true spam, since spammers use constantly-changing spoofed addresses.)
If you don't want mail from a legitimate sender like Best Buy, unsubscribe from their ads. If that doesn't work, make a Rule to delete or move the messages.

.jar includes jdbc driver but doesn't work

I'm quite new with Java. I've just created my first app in java, it's some kind of CMS. I have to give to my friend who can only install JVM and I can't set up his computer, because he lives in other city. What's the problem then:
I tried to compile (build) complete file with jdbc driver. And actually I've done it (when I open jar with winrar I see that mysql-connector.jar is there) but it's not working. I still have error:
SQLException: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
No suitable driver

It works fine when I'm running it with NetBeans, but built jar doesn't work at all.
Please help me with this problem. I was searching in many forums for the same problem, but no one had it (I mean EXACTLY the same). I have had many problems already with adding connector to NetBeans project at the beginning, but finally I've done it after 2 days - reinstallation of NB solved the problem. Is it possible that's NB fault again?

Wireless keyboard with Marvicks doesn't work properly

It's not easy to post this article due it's Marvicks (?) / Apple wireless keyboard problem.
Once I'm at home, I use my MBP like a desktop by connecting with Apple wireless keyboard/mouse. Works Great!
Since a while, I updated to Marvicks with great experience, but my wireless keyboard doesn't react on some uppercase keys. So, what I can do is: switch to caps-lock then type the missing key or type on MBP keyboard to get "T".
Look to here and you will find which uppercase letter doesn't work:
(use only with right-shift combination) aAbcCdDeEfFghHiIjJkKlLmMnNoOpPqQrRsStuUvVwWxXyYzZ.
(use only with left-shift combination) aAbBcCdDeEfFgGhHiIjJkKlLmMnNoOpPqQrRsStuUvVwWxXyYzZ.
Don't work letters/function:
(right-shift combination) B, G, T
(left-shift combination) T
"fn+delete"
Further, I have "Pinyin - Simplified" language installed. During Chinese input, I need switch to normal alphabet by activate "caps lock". This is an Easy and fast way to toggle between Chinese - English input. (much convinient than Language switch via mouse clicks).
My older OS (Leopard, S.L, Lion) works well, but Marvicks interpret differently. Once "caps lock" and I navigate with cursor keys, sometime it convert my typing into e.g.: "\[34334" (this is not the exactly right sample, due I can't simulate this at this moment), something like that. It looks like the "Escape sequences"
This is frustrating when I write my document without looking to the display regularly.

Why don't you use the MBP's internal keyboard? Does it also not work right?
Have you tried another external keyboard? If not, you should do that. If it works OK, then you need to replace the one causing all this trouble.

AUgraphicEQ filter doesn't work

I have FCE4.0 and I'm trying to use the AUgraphicEQ filter on a clip. But it doesn't do anything. I move the sliders and nothing happens. Also, it's supposed to be possible to change between 10 bands & 31 bands, but that doesn't work either.
I found a post from 2 years ago with this same problem. (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=3048026&#3048026) But that was never resolved.
The filter works in a 3rd party program just fine (Peak LE 4). It's possible to modify the audio there and import it back to FCE, but I have too many clips for that to be practical.
Anyone know what the deal is?

I checked it out several times and mine did not work in either FCE or FCP.
I trashed the preferences etc. and it still didn't work.
Finally I contacted Tom Wolsky who said that his worked, although the 10 Band one didn't.
I decided to give it one last try and surprise, surprise! It worked in both FCE and FCP (except for the 10 Band).
I don't know why because I can't think of anything I did differently in either app!

Webutil: webutil_file.file_open_dialog with filter doesn't work as expected

I just tried to open files by using webutil_file.file_open_dialog. Since I only want to select files with the prefix "brp" (e.g. brp0001.txt, brp0002.lis), I fill the parameter file_filter with the value: brp*.*
This doesn't work. The dialog only shows folders, but not the brp*.* files. I tried with switching to capitals, which doesn't solve anything. With the filter set to *.* the dialog shows all folders and files, so that seems to work ok.
Is anyone aware of this problem and know a solution? I'm using webutil 1.0.2 (beta).

K..here's some logging. As far as I can see it's all normal, but it doesn't work (no matter if I use a last | or not). Should be easy to reproduce.

Bug - column filter doesn't work in 3.1.05

When viewing a table in sqldev, if you click on a column heading you are given a filter box. That filter never returns any rows. I have tried using the same case as the data, and also entering the filter in LC when the data is in UC - neither one works. I just tested this in 3.0.04, and it doesn't work there, either.

Here is the description from the Help manual for the function I am trying to use:
Filter Column enables you to enter a partial value (such as a number or a string; at least two characters for a string), to limit the dialog box display to items containing the partial value, so that you can then select the one item to appear in the grid. For example, entering EMP for column names might show a list of columns including EMPLOYEE_ID and IS_TEMP.
That function appears in both the Data view, and the Columns view, but doesn't work in either one. I've tried using the exact same case, with and without % signs and single quotes.
I use sqldev to support Demantra, which has tables with hundreds of columns (plus we've customized it with even more columns). It would help if sqldev sorted those columns by column name. Since it doesn't do that, I could filter the column list to show me just our custom columns using DF_ or DF_% as the filter criteria, if that function worked.
There is a workaround for filtering data, since you can enter filter criteria in the Filter bar such as err_msg like '%problem%'. But that filter bar doesn't appear in the Columns view.

Keyboard Event Listener doesn't work in Browser

Is there a reason why a keyboard event listener would not work if the flash is embedded in an HTML? The rest of my game is running fine in the background, but I can't launch the movieClip "nextCar." My code is below, if that makes any difference...

This may be a silly question, but have you tryed clicking on your swf after it opens up in the browser, and then trying the keyboard controls?
I don't know of any issues that cause event listeners to workwhen debugging, but not in a browser. So, I'm thinking maybe your just not focused on the swf.

I'm trying to set up a very simple report that shows at most 1 record. As a proof of concept, I have a report with one column, "Company Name" and I have this report on a Dashboard with a prompt.
In the report, I have a filter critera that's set to "Company Name = 'Unspecified'". When I open the dashboard, it displays only the record where the name is Unspecified like I expect. When I filter on another company name in the prompt and hit "GO", it displays the apporpriate company. The issue happens when I now clear the filter and hit "GO" again. In this instance, it displays every company.
I've also tried the following:
Company Name is Unspecified (Protect Filter is slected)
OR Company Name is Prompted
AND RCOUNT(Company Name) = 1
I have the same issue.
Any ideas?

- TimOBIEE is acting as expected. When the prompt is "blank," that is the equivalent of having no filter; hence all records are displayed. Having an "Is Prompted" filter doesn't help. When there are no values selectd, the "Is Prompted" filter in effect disappears, again leaving all records.
Try using a presentation variable with a default value (like "Unspecified" if you have an actual entry with that name).
