Keyboard language changed only in Firefox not other programmes
I have Firefox in English but I use a Spanish keyboard, meaning some keys like question marks or quotation marks are in different places, there are accents, a key for ç, etc. It has always worked normally but today, while the keyboard is working correctly with all other programmes in Firefox it works as if the settings were changed to an English (I think) keyboard.
I don't have that problem with Chrome though, it's just Firefox. How is that possible (add question mark here, I can't guess what key I'im supposed to use for it).
I haven't changed anything in the settings, so the only possibility could be some kind of shortcut I've accidentally pressed, even though I don't know how that's even possible, as I assumed you can't have several keyboard language settings selected at the same time depending on the programme you're using.
I type in different languages so this is terribly annoying! Thanks for any help.
It is possible that you have switched the keyboard layout by accident by using the key sequence to rotate the layout.

Make sure that you have the Language bar visible on the Windows Taskbar
* You can do that via the right-click context menu of the Taskbar: Toolbars > Language Bar
* Check the keyboard language (keyboard layout) setting for the application that has focus via the icon on the Language bar
* You need to do that while Firefox has focus because Windows remembers the keyboard layout setting per application
* The default key combination to rotate the layout is the Ctrl+Shift or Alt+Shift combination that is used in Firefox for menu items, so it is quite possible to change the layout accidentally.
* To avoid an unintentional switch, assign a specific key sequence (Alt/Ctrl+Shift+number) to select keyboard layouts and remove the key combination to rotate layouts (Alt+Shift or Ctrl+Shift)
* Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Keyboards and Languages > Change keyboards > Advanced key settings > Change key sequence

All too often, I continue to clink on links and firefox can not connect to those link the first time and sometimes the second time, but eventually it does. How can I prevent this annoyance or should I just switch to a different browser that doesn't have that problem?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

I really like Firefox and would like to continue to use it for accessing my gmail, but this problem has been occurring for several months now and it's kind of irritating. The fact is that gmail only acts up in Firefox and none of the other browsers like IE. Please help!

2.or net speed , beczzz gmail needs high speed .. high means not like 3G ..it should be approximately 25-30kbps . I keep getting "script" errors and my computer locking up while using Mozilla Firefox on some of my websites. I don't have this problem while using Internet Explorer. Why has this just started and how can I resolve this? I like Firefox, but will have to start using a different browser if this doesn't get resolved.

I log on to by bank and firefox remembers my account #, but when the next screen pops up the bank does not recognize my computer. Each time after answering the correct security question ,I check the box to remember this as a personal computer but it never does. This only happens when I use Firefox, not other browsers. The other browsers remember the acct and that it is a personal computer.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.<br />

Jumpy scroll wheel control with mouse. Only with Firefox, not Internet explorer.Even pushing the scroll wheel and trying to adjust for a smooth easy scroll the text stops and starts. It's worth noting that the vast and overwhelming majority of headaches people were experiencing were related to download and activation servers (as well as credit check servers for some mobile carriers) being crushed and overwhelmed.
To give you an idea of just how crushed, here are some numbers. In the last year, something in the neighborhood of 8 million iPhones have been sold. That's just shy of 22,000 per day. So the typical traffic is around 22,000 times a day, someone is hitting the server for update/activation.
This weekend, Apple sold 1 million iPhones. In other words, 333,333 phones per day. Holy crap!
As if that wasn't enough, there are 8 million of us out there with the first generation iPhone. Not only do we need to download the new firmware, but we have to install it. The installation process requires hitting the activation server again, to validate the phone. Mind you, not everybody upgraded this weekend, but a few million did. For the sake of argument, we'll assume that's 1 million a day. So, instead of the normall traffic of 22K phones a day, those activation servers got SLAMMED with 1.33 million activations per day.
It ***** that some people had delays and hiccups and a hard time and everything, but completely understandable. With luck things will run more smoothly from here on out.

I was developing a command line app which runs in background, but i found some difficulties related to keyboard language...
I need to know when the user changes the keyboard language (with international menu).
I tried with TISCopyCurrentKeyboardInputSource() defined in Carbon.h, but it always returns the same keyboard language when my app runs in bg.
What i need now is a command line app which run in bg and write to a file each language change... Is it possible???

my app is not a key logger, and it does not run exactly in background. What i mean is that it runs into a while(true). My objective is to detect the changes of language and register it, and use this information in other external app. When i launch the function stand alone (not into a loop), it works perfectly, but when it runs into a loop, it always return the same language...
Does Carbon have any special environment? Perhaps there are some incompatibilities when running Carbon TIS in command line applications...

Keyboard language change with Apple Care Protection Plan?
If I get the Apple Care Protection Plan for a Mid-2011 MacBook Pro 13-inch, can I change my keyboard language?
I understand that it is unibody, but if they can just swap it, that will be great, just wondering.No, I mean the actual layout. the shapes and the locations of each keyboard is different if you compare the Japan and US layout. My dad has a US keyboard, and I have a Japan keyboard, and if you compare them, there are significant differences, such as the enter/return key is bigger, space bar is and delete key are smaller, and is missing the option key on the right of the space bar for the Japan layout, while the US layout has the opposite. The locations of some other keys are different, such as the caps key, fn key, and control key. I am used to the US layout so I want this changed.

Spry Menu bar 2.0 from Widget Browser only works in Firefox, not other browsers

I have downloaded and customized the Spry Menu Bar 2.0 from Adobe Widget Browser.
I have made a seemingly functionable horizonatl navigation bar that will be displayed on all of my website's pages.
While in live view in Dreamweaver and when I preview the page in FireFox the entire navigation bar works and displays perfectly.
However, when I preview the page in another browser, like Safari, the navation does not display and shows up as an ordered list. I have tried a couple of fixes with no success. I have also spent some time searching the forums for an asnwer, but more commonly I find that people have problems with the spry menu functioning in Firefox while I have the exact opposite problem.
Please help! I'm to have this website completed by the end of next week!

Directed by Rainer Beckmann, the Pennsylvania Academy of Music's Early Music Program provides opportunities for students to learn more about historical performance practice. The program's current activities focus on the school's Early Music Ensemble, made up of enthusiastic amateur musicians performing on recorders and violas da gamba. The recent donation of a two-manual harpsichord will allow the program to include special Baroque ensemble lessons in the near future. In addition, individual Academy students will have the possibility to be accompanied on an instrument regularly used in music of the 17th and 18th centuries. The class meets 1 hour per week.

This course is designed for the adult amateur who would like to play his/her instrument in a chamber music setting with other amateurs of the same level. Groups meet once a week for a one-hour coaching and prepare a work to be performed at the end of the semester. Coachings address both individual needs and techniques of collaborative playing.

This course traces the American popular music from the work songs of enslaved Africans through the Beatles. The course focuses on the history, theory, and sociological implications of gospel, blues, bluegrass, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, and psychedelic rock. Class will include lecture, discussion, and demonstration. Students will give presentations on popular styles of the 1980s, 1990s, and beyond.
Course Objectives:
In this course, students will:<br/>
1. Understand the development of various styles/genres of popular music.
2. Understand the connectivity of the cultural, political and social, with the musical.<br/>
3. Become familiar with music terminology in order to discuss music with insight and authority.<br/>
4. Develop keen listening skills enabling them to discern such elements as instrumentation, stylistic characteristics, and beats/grooves.<br/>
5. Gain insight into the recording industry and its effects on American culture.

Why is it "dymasearch" comes up ONLY in Firefox - Not any of the other browzers?
Dymasearch comes up CONSTANTLY when using the Firefox search toolbar. I'm not bothered with those weasels in any other browser.
How do I solve this dilemma. God only knows how many malware and virus programs I've run - All to no avail.

Other browsers still function attatching items to outgoing emails in .me mail. Firefox will no longer attach anything. The window pops up, but nothing happens when the open button is clicked. It started about a month ago.

My keyboard language changes automatically
I have an Iphone 4s running ios version 7.1.1
My issue started today. When I click on the globe and select Portuguese (Brasil) after a couple seconds, it will automatically switch to a spanish keyboard. No other languages are affected, only brazilian portuguese. What can i do to keep my brazilian portuguese keyboard to remain until I select a different language?That is probably caused by the <html lang="ko"> in the page source that makes Firefox switch to Korean.
