Keyboard languages do not download

Hi,
I have a Nokia Lumia 520. I want to add the keyboard language Italian (Settings -> Keyboard -> Add keyboards). Italian then appears in the keyboard languages, under which it says "Downloading..." If I tap on "Italian" I get "Update status: Downloading updates 0%". It has been that way all night. I have a working connection as I can browse the Internet and download emails.

Just to verify, which connection are you using? 3G or WLAN? If you are using a 3G connection, try to use WLAN and observe if the same issue will occur. What troubleshooting steps have you tried to resolve your concern? If not yet, you try these steps:
1. Reboot the phone. Press and hold the volume down and power keys until it vibrates. Please note that the phone will your date and time settings. This is a normal behavior for Lumia 520.
2. Check if there's an available update on the phone.
a. Go to Settings
b. Tap on Phone update
c. Tap on check for updates
3. If the above troubleshooting did not work, you can try to do a reset on the phone. This will delete all your data, so make sure to backup your files. You can refer to this link for the instructions:

To reset the device, go to Settings, tap on About and then tap on Reset.

What Nexus 7 version do you have as there was a 2012 and a 2013 model. A easy way to tell if it is a 2013 is it has a camera on each '''back''' and front while 2012 only has one on front.

After Adobe Download Assistant is installed, you can start it at any time and select a product to download at the bottom of the window. The list updates as new products become available to download with the Adobe Download Assistant.

Keyboard language changed only in Firefox not other programmes

I have Firefox in English but I use a Spanish keyboard, meaning some keys like question marks or quotation marks are in different places, there are accents, a key for ç, etc. It has always worked normally but today, while the keyboard is working correctly with all other programmes in Firefox it works as if the settings were changed to an English (I think) keyboard.
I don't have that problem with Chrome though, it's just Firefox. How is that possible (add question mark here, I can't guess what key I'im supposed to use for it).
I haven't changed anything in the settings, so the only possibility could be some kind of shortcut I've accidentally pressed, even though I don't know how that's even possible, as I assumed you can't have several keyboard language settings selected at the same time depending on the programme you're using.
I type in different languages so this is terribly annoying! Thanks for any help.

It is possible that you have switched the keyboard layout by accident by using the key sequence to rotate the layout.

I get redirected to a different site based either on my locale, keyboard language or product language. How can I prevent this from happening

There are several sites that I access where I type in www.xxxxx.com or support.mozilla.com expecting to get the American site but due either to my "locale" which is set to Germany or my "Keyboard Language" which is set to German, I get automatically redirected to the German site. As all my software is in English but I have a German Laptop, I wish to go to the English sites. Conversely there are sites where I type in www.xxxx.de wishing to go to the German site, but get re-directed to the UK Site because my software is in English. Many of these sites then allow you to chose the country you want thereby correcting this behaviour, but unfortunately there are a host of sites whose programmers have not foreseen the need for this and the sites are thus unreachable. An example of this is www.proidee.de which automatically redirects me to the UK Site.
What I am looking for is some way to prevent these sites from imposing their will over my decisions. I see this as a direct infringement of my rights.

Not downloading files with php links

I've disabled Speed Download completely after trying to disable it for specific sites. What I'm finding is that links that use some kind of database redirect fail to download the files at all. For example a link to a download that looks like this: http://members.vbulletin.com/download.php does not work.
What happens is that a file called download.php gets downloaded, about 10k in size, but the link to the file itself and the file is not downloaded. This doesn't happen in Firefox. Any ideas what is going wrong?... I've seen this behavior on several sites that use database links to the files..

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. First, disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard, mouse, monitor, and Ethernet, if applicable. Boot in safe mode and log in as yourself. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
During startup, you will see "Safe Boot" on the login screen, which appears even if you normally log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Safe mode is slower than normal, and some things won’t work at all, perhaps including wireless networking on certain Macs. If you usually connect to the Internet via WiFi, and it doesn’t work in safe mode, connect using an Ethernet cable. New feature request: Having the possibility to use different keyboard language on multiple monitors.

I would love to see a new feature to allow the use of different keyboard language on multiple monitors with the same desktop mac.
Ex.: On dual monitor desktop, use english keyboard on the left screen and french keyboard on the right screen.
So I wouldn't have to switch keyboard language all the time!

Keyboard keys are not working

Im on mac OS X 10.6.8 several keyboard keys are not working. For instance the at symbol is not working or question mark and random other punctuation keys. The problem started after running some code from terminal to trun off mouse acceleration and then installing a plug-in to control more accurately the mouse funtions. Ive since uninstalled the plug in and disabled the adjustment in terminal. Ive checked all the normal keyboard funcions to make sure settings were not funky. When I log out and log in as a differnt user the problem with the keyboard is fixed. Someone please help

Some keys don't work as expected
From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
From the View menu, choose Speech.
Click the Text to Speech tab.
If "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" is enabled, the key or key combination set to speak text cannot be used for other purposes or used to type text--click Set Key and change it to a less-commonly used key combination (try to use modifier keys such as Shift, Command, Option, and Control). Or, disable the "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" option.
Click the Universal Access pane in System Preferences, click the Keyboard tab.
Make sure that Slow Keys is turned off. With Slow Keys on, you need to press a key for a longer period of time for it to be recognized.
In the Universal Access pane, click the Mouse tab, and make sure Mouse Keys is turned off. With Mouse Keys enabled, you cannot use the Numeric Keypad to enter numbers--instead the keypad moves the pointer (cursor). (There is an option to enable Mouse Keys with five presses of the Option key; you may want to turn that option off to avoid accidentally enabling it.) If Mouse Keys is enabled and you are using a keyboard with no numeric keypad or Num Lock function, see Unable to type while Mouse Keys is enabled in Mac OS X.

Start from the Mac OS X Install Disc, choose Terminal from the Utilities menu and test the keys which were previously not working. If the keys work while started from the Install disc, then the keyboard itself is working correctly. Keyboard: some keys not working

Some keys not working. Need help/suggestions. Not great with computers so PLEASE give details/steps re: how to do what you suggest - thanks!
Details: intel based iMac running snow leopard 10.6.8. Apple wireless/bluetooth keyboard (came with the iMac).
Some keys suddenly stopped working: space, tab, capLock, option key to the right of space bar (one on the left works), down arrow
The problem happens in various programs (safari, pages, etc)
The keyboard is fine on another iMac
A different keyboard is fine on this/the involved iMac
(nutshell: keyboard works fine - computer works fine, unless they're together)
Here's what's been tried/checked:
-checked the settings for universal access ("mouse keys" are off) and checked for any bluetooth keyboard shortcuts.
-in system preferences "speech" is not set for "speak selected text when the key is pressed" - this is not checked/selected
-tried creating a new user but had the same issue so it's computer-wide rather than just a user account
-removed the keyboard and reconnected (using the +/- signs and "disconnect" and putting in a new code of numbers to pair keyboard)
-language/text is set for english
-did the keyboard viewer and the keys in question did NOT highlight when pressed (but don't forget the entire keyboard is fine on a different computer so thekeys aren't the issue)
-"slow keys" is turned off re: keyboard in system preferences.
Any help is welcomed. It's frustrating knowing the keyboard works, just not with this computer. Please help. Many thanks!
