Keyboard n mouse not working on setting user account of win7
hi
i have problem
when i wnat install win7 on my macbook air 13"2014" after working with bootcamp and boot windows when installation finished my mouse , keyboard not working to setup an account
You do not have the correct BC drivers installed. You need a USB2 flash disk. Download drivers appropriate to your Mac from System requirements to install Windows on your Mac via Boot Camp - Apple Support and Boot Camp: Install or repair Boot Camp drivers.
If your hardware says BCA in the table, use BC Assistant, check Download Software option only, and build the drivers USB.

If you are having the enter issue when using the wired KB from your old computer that sounds software related with the blog site.
What web browser do you use when on that website?
Connect your wireless equipment back and if you continue to have the issue with the letters repeating then you should inquire about a replacement for what is referred to as "sticky keys". With it being a new unit this shouldn't be an issue.
Let me know if you have other questions.

Ultraslim wireless keyboard and mouse not working
Hi , I purchased the Lenovo Ultraslim Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (pn: 57Y4700) about 4 months ago for use with my T60 laptop (which i use with a docking station and large lenovo monitor at work).
Everything was woking fine until last Monday when I can into work after the weekend and neither the mouse or keyboard worked. I replaced the batteries in both, rebooted the machine several time, switch the USB ports for the nano receiver, but nothing seems to have worked.
I looked online for troubleshooting options, but did not find anything.
The mouse and keyboard don't seem to have a "sych" button - if I recall correctly everything worked right out of the box.
My theory is that the nano reciever was damaged (not sure how) -- but don't know how to proceed:
can the nano reciever be replaced;
any other options to troubleshoot;
any chance that this could be a software problem
ThanksHi coffee12345,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I have read your post on your wireless keyboard and mouse not working with your desktop, and I would be happy to help you! To begin, I need to ask you a few introductory questions:
What is the Product and Model Number of your desktop?
What version of Windows are you using?
Is this a recent issue, or has it been like this since day one?
Are you using a USB hub to connect your peripherals or is it directly plugged into the computer?
Please re-post with the necessary information, and I look forward to your reply!

If possible, try another keyboard & mouse?

Keyboard and mouse not working correctly after installing Windows 8.1
I was forced to upgrade my computer to Windows 8.1. My keyboard worked fine until the sytem did a reboot. Numbers on keypad stopped typing and letters were being capitalized when the caps lock was off and the numbers across the top will only type the symbol above the numbers.
I looked up this problem and it seems I need to enter UEFI settings and disable Intel XHCI mode. When I get into the UEFI settings I cannot make any selection from the startup menu. Both my keyboard and mouse stop working.
Any suggestions?

Flash player does not work under one user account.
Flash player does not work under one of my user accounts.
My system: I work with a mac mini with Mac OS X 10.6.8.
What I have done:
I installed the flash player maybe one year ago under my "first" user account. At that time this user account had had administrator authorization. In the meantime I had to change this "first" user account in an account without administrator authorization and created an administrator user with which I installed different programms. Lately, the message came up that it would be necessary to update the flash player. I did it; under the "first" user account, but of course with the administrator's password for installing. The installation had been "successful" - so I was told. But it did not run. I tried it again and again. Each time with "deinstallation" first. No way; it did not work.
After asking Adobe for the reason of the problem, they suggested to install the programm directly under the administrator user. I did that (of course after deinstalling under the "first" user account) with the result, that flash player runs under my administrator and my "second" user account, but not under the first user account. There I am always told to update my flash player.
With this result, I talked to Adobe. So they told me to contact the producer of the operating software, since this would be a mistake of the operating software.
And here I am - full of hope to get help from you.
Thanks for reading. And thanks in advance for helping me.
Nanny FSAny update to provide at all here guys? Again, in my situation, it's very much rights-related as a standard user doesn't even report that the flash player exists when testing it on the Adobe Flash Version Detection website (despite it showing up in Control Panel and under Add/Remove Programs). I've already tried giving the C:\Windows\System32\Macromed and files/subfolders appropriate permissions for the standard user and still nothing. If I either give the user in question full local admin rights or logon as the domain admin, then the Adobe Flash Version Detection website says Flash is installed and Flash works fine.

Itunes not working in one user account
I'm running OSX 10.6.8 and the latest iTunes software. My iTunes has stopped working on one user account only, the menu is completely greyed out and will not function when launched. To quit iTunes I have to use force quit. I've tried deleting the plist preferences, re-installing iTunes from a back up and also re-installing from new, but the same fault persists. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Delete all gnome config files before (the .gnome* directories) and also caches and session config (somewhere in .config directory). You will lost all application config, but I do it from time to time and it solves even some application bugs.

Keyboard is not working on one user account
Only one user account on my iMac cannot use the keyboard. All other accounts including the admin works fine. But after my daughter signs in to her account (using the keyboard to type her password) the keyboard is no longer detected by bluetooth. The mouse works fine and it seems as though the keyboard actually loses power too because the caps lock button does not even light up anymore. Please help!

HP notebook keyboard and mouse not working
Hi
I spilled tea on my notebook. Now the system boots but keyboard & mouse do not work. Therefore I am not able to
login at the windows screen. When I hardboot, on pressing esc it goes to boot menu, but then the keyboard stops working
so I cannot go to safe mode or recovery mode. I also tried pressing F11 to enter BIOS, but it does not work.
I can however access it via LAN and since I had shared the C drive, I was able to recover the data. Do you have any idea
how I can restore the system now ? I do not have the recovery disks.
Are there any particular function keys to press while booting ?
Thanks a lot for your helpThoughts on a Soggy System:
Have you tried the obvious -- connecting an external keyboard and mouse? If you are not near a store where you can buy these, you can order them online as a set. Almost anything would do and Windows 7 and 8 install basic drivers for most keyboards and mice without problems when the system comes online.
If you have not waited for several days for things to REALLY dry out before attempting to get back onto the system, then you may get away with this yet - if you WAIT for a few days. Chances are not great, but ... ?
If you can get the system to a repair shop, it is not terribly expensive to have the keyboard / touchpad replaced -- assuming that is all that is wrong with the system -- and the repair is not a lengthy process. This might be something you can do yourself if you are skilled, disparate, in a tiny spot on the planet somewhere (without a repair shop), or like these things...
We can check for part numbers and all of that if you are interested. You can search for for yourself, too.
Start at
Support and Drivers
Enter your information -- Look along the colum and Click on Manuals. You are looking for the Maintenance Manual.
If you do not find it, provide your Exact Product number and I will look for you.
Locate the Notebook Product Number
I am pretty sure you are going to have to have some sort of keyboard control over that system to do more than just use the hard drive to do a hard recovery of the data. You are not at that point until you determine that you cannot access the data through the computer itseslf...
You can always send the system to HP and have it repaired. It is not free unless you have the warranty for it - but it is not horrible to do; HP makes the process pretty easy. It might be worth checking if you do not have a local option available!

Good Luck!

Keyboard and mouse not working after boot
Hello!
it's my first time here
I have been using archlinux for a couple of months and after an upgrade, my mouse and keyboard stopped working.
I have also posted it on linuxquestions:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions … ot-934040/
What might be causing that problem?
and, considering the problem occurred after an upgrade, reinstalling the system would correct it?when booting into runlevel 3, the keyboard and mouse works fine.
my pacman.log(only for the update day) and messages.log are:

Keyboard or mouse not working. No USB power.
I just got a new macbook. I copied the old XP partition from my older macbook to place it onto the new one. I used a method I have used before and has worked successfully. However this time since it is a newer macbook I reboot into windows and the keyboard or mouse doesn't work. I have tried plugging in USB mouses and keyboards and no success. There is now power to it, not even caps lock light turns on. I tried booting in safe mode.
I assumed the drivers would be the same from macbook to macbook but I guess not. Anyway to regain control so I can atleast try to re install drivers? It appears that you need to get updated drivers for the hardware in your new Macbook. How about inserting your Leopard Installation disk in the drive when booted in Windows? This will install all the boot camp drivers and hopefully will resolve the issue. If you have already done this then we have a different issue at hand.

Need Help with iMac 350 - Won't boot - keyboard or mouse not working!
Hello,
I've scoured the web looking for answers, and can't find any, so maybe someone here would be kind enough to help. I'm working on an imac 350 blueberry for my sister and I'm having all sorts of trouble.
She bought it last week, it started up (8.6 os) no problem. Powered up and down a few times, then all of a sudden, it won't boot. I'm currently getting blinking folder/happymac/question mark when trying to start up.
Here's the big problem - the keyboard and mouse do not work now. I've tried three different mice and three keyboards and no dice with any of them. I have the 8.6 CD from her previous imac (bondi), and I can hear it spinning, but there is no way to start up from cd.
I've also tried 2 other hard drives with the same results.
Tried resetting CUDA on logic board, taking out battery, no change. Bought new battery- no change.
I would love to at least get the keyboard working to see if I can even startup from cd, anyone have any clues on how to get it working? The strange thing is that the keyboard has a power on button, and it works to start the thing up, but dies when it tries to boot. Sometimes I just get a grey screen with the pointer icon, and I can move the pointer with the mouse for a second or two, then no response.
I appreciate any help or suggestions on locating the issues!
Thank you! When I said "but dies when it tries to boot" and "..then no response." I meant that the keyboard works to power up the computer, but won't work for anything else. So, I am figuring that the usb ports are supplying power to the keyboard and mouse, but the usb ports aren't relaying information from the keyboard or mouse.
How do you know the mouse isn't working? Won't you have to wait until later in the boot to tell?
The poweron key is a special case. I think that it works by lowering/changing the voltage on one of the usb cables. I read about this somewhere. Anyway, this function was eliminated from later usb keyboards and macs. Maybe a working power button doesn't mean what you think.
I would love to boot into open firmware
Could you try powering up from the machine? Is there a power button on the lower right of the machine?
Have you tried this key combo?
commandoption+of
The letters are in lower case. Hold all down then poweron the machine. I'd poweron from the machine as apposed to the keyboard.
You could try another usb keyboard.
We actually did boot up the computer several times with it upside down. Not for any reason, except it's become a real PIA to flip it over every two minutes to start it, then take it apart and boot again. When booting either upside down or right side up it shows the same thing - blinking folder w/finder icon and question mark.
Yes, I agree. You could try removing the clear plastic around the bottom of the machine. At least you will not have to slide in the carriage. Note. The tv portion will still be surrounded by plastic! Don't remove the plastic around the tv!
Hope I am not interfering with Richard and his comments.
Richard: Is this the orginal keyboard? When did Apple get rid of the poweron key from the keyboard? My iMac 600 didn't have the key and my iMac 233 does.
