If you are saying that when you press a few keys, they each overtype the previous keys, your Mac OS X is really messed up.
You will at least need a Re-Install, and possibly an erase and re-install. For that you need Backups, so that should be top priority.

Home page weather display will not update how to fix this?

On my home page, my.Yahoo, I have selected "weather" for one of the displays. In the past this display kept pace with the current day but now it is stuck on a day and will not update to the current day. I have re-booted, terminated FireFox, restarted it, turned the computer off and back on, and the weather still is stuck and will not update.

A couple more suggestions:
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

MacBook Pro up arrow key does not work how to fix it?

When I am just working on the computer the up arrow key does not work at all but when I use bootcamp to go to the PC side the arrow works so i know its not a phisical problem, i have tryed everything i know and still no success.

I would be concerned too the up arrow key on my keyboard was not working. I found an article that can assist with further isolating and troubleshooting issues with the built in keyboard. Hello I have 3 problems I do not know how to fix

First the applications I have several applications I have down loaded from the App Store that I would like to merge together to reduce space and put with like groups. I know you hold the app until it starts to wiggle and then you can move it but there are some that are on another page and I do not know how to get them moved from page to page.
Next I use the message application that was a standard app on my iPad when I got it. I would use it for my notes and when finished I used to be able to email the note page to my email address to manage information in folders. As of last night it has not forwarded the email to my email address.
My email domain is with Yahoo and you can open and name a new folders to manage your work. I haven't been able to open a new folder and name it like I could before. I haven't been able to use this function in a long time.

For moving an app from a page to another, after holding it (that it starts to wiggle) put your finger on the app icon and drag it to right or left edge of homesreen to go to another page, OR put the app in the dock and go to the other page then put it on that page.
For the second question, I didnt understand exactly. You take notes by Messages app?!
The third question, I think you should do it on the yahoo website.
If you explain your second and third question, it will be much better.

Quit Safari. Go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key to choose "Library". Then go to Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist and move that file to your Desktop. Relaunch Safari.

ITunes will not start (how to fix)

After buying my new iPod, I realized that iTunes was necessary for the transfer of music and pictures to it. My iTunes was not working. I was going to throw my laptop out the window!! It only worked after I installed it, but when I restart my pc, it not longer works again. and again. and again. *key not, i believe that it was startup related!
The point is that I came here to the support website to find a solution. I didn't really find one. I did however follow the "step by step uninstallation" of iTunes. which envolved deleting a bunch of files. and I restarted my pc numerous times.

2. uninstall itunes software
3. delete hidden apple software in "documents and settings\current user"
delete hidden apple software in "local settings and temp" for all users!
4. install the STAND ALONE quicktime player available online
5. install the iTunes software available online
* as an observation, quick time player has to be running in the toolbar.
my iTunes software is working fine! and try my solution!

I don't have norton antivirus installed, however, i strongly believe that this is a startup problem
then let's start steadily checking through some of the other (much rarer) known possibilities.
are you running a McAfee antivirus package?

I'm not sure what to do, I did not recieve a cd with my mac to boot it up (I ordered it online).
Also I can't find my harware serial number (I've tried many times to input what I thought it may be from my receipt). I saw that I need this number to contact apple support, my 90 day complimentary support is still valid so I wish to contact them.
I don't know much about apple products as this is my first apple computer so any information is helpful.

Hold down the Alt/Option-key at startup of your iMac to get the Boot Selection screen.
From that choose to boot into OSX.
Once in OSX go to System Preferences then Startup Volume and reset your OSX to be the default.
The new iMacs have OSX 10.7 Lion preinstalled and don't come with any CD/DVD anymore.
Instead OSX Lion includes a new feature called "Lion Recovery".

Keyboard problem--keys not working

While in your piano roll editor go to options and click on the step input keyboard , play a note then exit out of the keyboard , also make sure your midi in button is on next to the midi out . It will highlight red meaning it is on . This should fix the problem.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Your sequence settings and clip settings are not matching. To make them match, right click on a clip and choose New Sequence from Clip and a new sequence will be created based on your clip settings.
