Keyboard shortcut for full page view (and many others) removed

After updating Acrobat from version 8 to 9 I had to learn that a lot of keyboard shortcuts were removed from Acrobat and there's no way to customize then. I was using all shortcuts for zooming, in particular the nearly Adobe-wide CTRL-0 to see a full page. This just does not work anymore -- what's the reason?
Is there any other way we can configure shortcuts? For me it is not acceptable to use the mouse for this.

Several times I've re-entered my passwords under Preferences/Internet Accounts/iCloud and it won't save since I've installed Mavericks. Also, the iCloud icon in the left column in Preferences/Internet Accounts/iCloud is greyed out but allows me to click on it to set-up. When I click on iCloud the password is filled out but the "Enable this account" check-box is not checked. I check it, and all seems correct. The icon is no longer grey, the password is correct, the "activate this account" check-box is checked. Then, when I launch mail, notes etc. I'm still prompted to re-enter my apple ID. The log-in loop continues. For years my keychain has worked perfectly. What has changed in Mavericks?

What is the keyboard shortcut for scrolling page down? In Pages, Safari, etc... Just a single page/ screen view, not all the way to the bottom. Thank you.

Trying to navigate the screen without my mousepad. I have carpal tunnel and early stage arthritis and cannot repeatedly make the appropriate motions to scroll with two fingers. Is there a keyboard shortcut for scrolling up and down line by line or page by page?

Yeah. sorry. those are not correct. ctrl N + P are for home and end line shortcuts. Ctrl V does go down one line. But CTRL arrow up or down do not work in Safari. But thank you very much for the attention and the time...
Note from my first post above -- I did not say to use CTRL arrow in Safari:
For Safari:
Scroll down a line: down arrow
Scroll down a screen: option down arrow
Note from my second post above and from the first link I gave that Control N, P, and V worked for me in Pages as described in the link and in my post:
The link to shortcuts that I gave abaove includes Control N, P, and V for move down a line, up a line and down a page and those seem to work in Pages.

What is the keyboard shortcut for extract page?

There used to be a series of keyboard shortcuts for page manipulation (and other) - using acrobat 9 till recently. Now new to Acrobat XI Pro (Windows 8.1). I can see the shortcuts for insert & delete page but not for extract page (and other). Am I missing something? The keyboard shortcuts are a must for speed and a healthy right wrist.

There isn't a direct way of doing it, but you can "hack" it using a script. Create a folder-level script with this code:
app.addMenuItem({cName: "MyExtractPages", cUser: "E&xtract Pages", cParent: "Edit",
cExec: "app.execMenuItem(\"ExtractPages\");", cEnable: "event.rc = (event.target!=null)"});
This will add a new menu item to the Edit menu which you could access using the following keyboard shortcut: Alt+E, X

In Bridge is there any way to change from Grid, List, and Detail views using only kepybord shortcuts?
Or can the jeyaboard shortcuts be remapped by users to do this? Too slow moving the mouse down to the corner every time.

No, there are no shortcuts for those icons and sadly enough you can't alter the keywords like you can in PS, it is a longstanding wish but so far Bridge is full of longstanding wishes and also a longstanding habit of almost no further development
However, you have the option to create your own workspaces. If you select one of the icons and drag the panels to the size or location you want you can create a workspace for this. The workspace list (at top of Bridge window) can be dragged to the left to extend the list. You can also drag the names itself to right or left and create your own order. The first 6 names are automatically attached to shortcuts (showing next to the names when you click on the triangle next to the workspace names).
Repeat this for other views and you should be OK

In sparrow- which I'm coming over from due to it's support of Gmail, you can use various keyboard shortcuts to move back and forth in the thread.
I prefer the Mail layout, but might have to go back if I have to click everywhere!

Frame and Layer Utilites: contains a number of commands for working with layers, like hiding the current layer in all other states but the current one, or moving the layer up or down in the panel. The standard shortcut is Apple/Command + space. If that doesn't work you may need to disable it being used already by Spotlight. You can set any shortcut you want in system prefs/keyboard/keyboard/shortcuts

ROTATE 90 Degree For Full Page VIewing?

Hi, is it possible to rotate the digital reader 90 degrees in order to read a full page of text without scrolling? I have a MacBook, which is perfect for reading a full page of text in portrait mode. It is less perfect for reading a page in Landscape mode, far too much scrolling as I read and a full page at 800 pixels high is a strain on the eyes. However, my efforts to find a way to successfully switch the entire display to portrait mode have failed. Then I realized the application itself could easily display in a rotated orientation. If I can rotate pictures 90 degrees in Photoshop, I should be able to do it with Acrobat or Digital Reader. Here's hoping!

This is on our list for the next release. But... not all features make it from the list to reality.

Keyboard Shortcuts for "Sleep", "Restart", "Shutdown" and switching the screen off don't work any more

I am running OX Yosemite Version 10.10.2 on an iMac 27 inches.
A couple of days ago a realized that a few keyboard shortcuts that I use a lot didn't work any more. They are:
Sleep --> cmd + alt + eject
Turn of the screen --> **** + ctrl + eject
Shutdown --> ctrl + alt + cmd + eject
Does anybody know why?

Does single-user mode work? Command-S at startup. Since that doesn't rely on anything but the keyboard, this might be a good test.
Have the other keyboard shortcuts ever worked on your computer, or did they recently cease to work?

I accidentally got into the full page view and would rather see the tabs at the top. how to get that back?

i want to have the menu items at the top of the page but accidentally lost them. how to get them back?

Press F11 and see if that works. I also just noticed upon researching that pressing the restore button will take you out of full screen!
Note: if you click on any flash object, right before hitting F11, it won't work. In this case just double click on like the scroll bar.

Full Page view for PDF and TIF attachments

Hello Can any one help please, I upgraded my software for my device and no longer have the options for "full page view" to see detailed PDF and TIF attachments. This is a big problem for me please help. Thanks in advance.

Redefining default keyboard shortcuts for dashboard, exposé, etc.

I would like to redefine the keyboard shortcuts for the Dashboard, Dock, and Exposé functions, i.e. I don't want these functions to be bound to the f8-f11 keys. I can redefine the shortcuts manually using the Keyboard pane of the System Preferences, but there are two problems. The first is that the shortcuts for these four items are reset whenever the computer is restarted (my changes to the other keyboard shortcuts are maintained). Is there a way to permenantly change these shortcuts? The second problem is that I am not able to change the keyboard shortcuts for the "slow" versions of these shortcuts accessed by using the shift key.
Basically, I want to be able to use f8-f11 and shift + f8-f11 as keyboard shortcuts in other applications. I'd like to assign the Dashboard, Dock, and Exposé commands to be command + f8-f11 and shift + command + f8-f11.

Does it hold if you change in the Dashboard&Exposé preference pane? You should be able to at least set the Cmd+F#, not sure if it will work for the slow open.

The Powerbook is more limited in that it doesn't have the F13,F14,F15 keys, but editing the com.apple.symbolichotkeys.plist will give you direct control of the hotkey assignments.

I disabled Aero theme, checked font scaling was 100% and rebooted Windows in between all of the steps to no avail.
I've been reading a lot around this and it seems the arrow key problem is a red herring; I think it's just some kind of terminal preferences corruption.

When accessing Lion Server Wiki from a Mac, some of the usual suspects work: cmd+B for bold, cmd+} to indent, etc. When accessing the Lion Server Wiki from Windows, though, I can't find an equivalent keyboard shortcut for the indent / unindent. Where can I find a list of all of them?

How to change keyboard shortcut for cycle through open tabs in PS and AI CC 2014

I would love to set my own keyboard shortcuts for cycling through open tabs in PS and AI 2014 on OS X. I found out that this can be achieved with ctrl+tab in PS, but I couldn't manage to make any of the suggestions in the forum work for AI. As said, I would like to set a more "standard" shortcut like alt+cmd+arrow-keys for both of the apps. If that shouldn't be possible, does anyone know a shortcut in AI CC 2014?

Thanks! The shortcut can be set like this in AI, although all key combinations I would want to use are not allowed. Too bad. But anyways, thank you very much for the tip!
cmd+~ is not an option for me, I guess, since the swiss/german keyboard layout has no dedicated tilde key.
So, I have a working shortcut in PS (ctrl+tab / of which I still don't know how to change, if possible at all) and thanks to you, I can now set one in AI as well. Unfortunately, I can not set it to be identical as in PS, since the "cmd" key needs to be included in AI's shortcut assignment dialogue, but I guess, this is as good as it gets.
