Keyboard shortcut to switch Spotify to full screen

Hi, there's a custom keyboard shortcut in OSX which lets you switch apps to full screen. It doesn't work with all apps but I think it would be nice if Spotify would make this functional in their Mac app. Looking forward for this to work.

Switch order of full screen apps

Hello, I was wondering how you switch the order of full screen apps. For example, If I have 2 full screen apps going (Safari and Mail) then while looking at my desktop I decide to make iTunes a full screen app. It will place iTunes as the 1st full screen app when swiping left to get to it. How do I change it so when I swipe I have Safari or Mail be the first first screen app that shows up?

Above screen shot of Mission Control preferences found under System Preferences. With 'Automatically rearrange spaces based on most recent use' ticked this is what happens.
The above screen shot shows that my current spaces arrangement is Desktop, Safari, Mail, and iTunes. If I use 'command+tab' keyboard shortcut to switch to iTunes...
the arrangement of the spaces will be Desktop, iTunes, Safari, and Mail as shown in below screen shot.
This is no different from the double click method that I mentioned earlier, just another method.

Open your Displays system preferences. Is there an Arrangement tab and does it show two screens? If no Arrangement tab then your mac does not know it has two screens. Maybe smc and pram reset will shake it free and maybe not. Maybe there's something wrong with the connection. Are there keyboard shortcuts for switching to desktops with fullscreen apps?

Coming from SL, one functionality that I used a lot was keyboard shortcuts to go to different applications.
For instance, I had assigned Mail to Space 2, iTunes to Space 3 etc.
Then it was possible to instantly go to Mail by pressing alt-2, to iTunes with alt-3 etc.
In Lion, it is possible to assign Applications to desktops, and use the same commands to go to these desktops. However, as soon as an application is 'fullscreened' it leaves its previous desktop, and cannot be reached with the old keyboard shortcuts.
My question:
is it possible to create a keyboard shortcut to switch to a desktop containing a fullscreen app?

This is quite possible. The way to do it is with keyboard shortcuts. If you check the appropriate boxes you can use a keyboard combination of Control and the Desktop #. It makes it very easy to swtich between desktops.

Not exactly, but down-arrow will swap the images, and 'z' will always zoom the "select" one, if the "Link Focus" padlock is unlocked. Is that close enough for your needs?

Keyboard shortcut to switch between full screen windows

My only major contention with Full Screen mode for applications in Mac OS X Mavericks (and now Yosemite) has been that there is no easy way to switch between multiple windows that are full-screened as you could do without (using the command+` keyboard shortcut). It's actually the sole reason I opted to not use them with Mavericks. I know, I'm supposed to use the multitouch trackpad capabilities, but I don't have access to one at work.
So my question, now that the default behavior of what was previously the maximize button is to full-screen a window (I am additionally aware that I can option-click on the full-screen/maximize button to maximize a window), is there an easy keyboard shortcut that I simply haven't located to switch between windows in a single application?
If not, can we please see this added in soon?

Assign a key to Expose and use it to switch between Parallels in full screen and your other apps.

OS X maverick - I want the swipe function to switch from one full-screen application to another, is it possible?

I just updated my mid-2010 MacBook Pro to the OS X Maverick. However, a friend of mine has Mountain Lion, and she has this really cool function that lets her swipe the keyboard to change the view from one "screen" to another, so for example she might have word open in one screen and safari in another. Can I do it in OS X Maverick as well? And if it isn't possible in Maverick, can I somehow update it so that I get the function? I've been trying to do the same with mine but it isn't working.. Really keen to get it to work as it would make life so much easier with writing essays and what not. I'm not very good with anything related to software, so forgive me if this seems like a silly question. Also, I'm not a native English speaker so my terminology might not be the best..

Not a silly question at all.
The function is called Spaces, which lets you switch between different desktops. You can read about Spaces here: Mac 101: Using Spaces to organize your windows and applications (Mac OS X v10.5, 10.6)
If you click the symbol with the two opposite arrows, in the upper right corner of the window of an application that supports it, an app will open in full-screen mode.
Then you can configure the gestures that control Spaces in Applications > System Preferences > Trackpad > more gestures.
On my mac, for example, if I do a three finger swipe upwards, it opens Mission Control. Mission Control organizes the different desktops in Spaces. I can open a new desktop for Spaces, remove a desktop, or switch apps between desktops.
It probably doesn't make much sense when this is described in words, but if I were you I'd just jump in and experiment with it a bit. If you have more questions report back here.

Shortcut for getting out of full screen

Is thee a shortcut to switch back and forth from full screen?

Command F turns it on and Command F turns it off.
It's Control-Command-F.
Command-F is for "Find."
Probably doesn't work in all apps though. Can add Word 2011 to the list though.

Keyboard controls stop working after exiting full screen

Hi everyone,
I have QT Pro 7.4.1, with a problem that started after upgrading to the .1 version.
When I exit full screen mode while watching a movie, the keyboard shortcuts for the player controls stop working. Instead, the computer beeps at me when I press the spacebar, etc. The keyboard controls still work during full screen mode, and after exiting full screen mode, I can still click on the play controls with the mouse to make them work. I've looked through the forum, but can't find anything about this. I also got this problem with one of my school's computers, with the same version of QT Pro. Is anyone else having this problem? Is it a known bug?

Yep.
A bug of sorts.
A "click" on the small screen version will restore QuickTime Player "focus" and then the keyboard inputs will work as designed.

Keyboard Shortcuts to switch spaces changing.

I have configured my keyboard shortcuts to use custom shortcuts for switching spaces (I have 7 spaces). I use command + 1 to switch to space 1, command + 2 to switch to space 2, etc. However, for some time now, when I log out, lock the screen, or anything other than a total shut down or restart, my shortcuts stop working. By that, I mean that hitting command + 2 will take me to space 3 instead of 2. This wouldn't be that big of a deal except my workflow has certain apps set to certain spaces and being thrust to the wrong one (and which wrong one changes again when I log out, lock screen, etc). When I check my shortcuts in preferences, they all still show as being correct. This has happened across multiple macs (2 MBP Retinas and a brand new iMac) on different (non-transferred) users all with Mountain Lion. Please help!

I know this is an old post, but in case someone else has this problem:
Try going to System Preferences -> Mission Control and uncheck the box for "Automatically rearrange spaces based on most recent use".

Flash Player not switching to 720hd full screen

I just uninstalled the latest version of Flash, and then installed version "flashplayer10r3218_ub_macdebug.dmg", and the annoying problem goes away.

The latest version of Firefox looks great but unfortunately the keyboard shortcuts that I use all the time to switch between search engines stopped working which leaves me stuck with version 33.1.

Keyboard shortcuts to switch to SPECIFIC input sources

I currently have 4 input sources on my mac (English, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish).
I use the keyboard shortcuts Command+Space and Command+Shift+Space, and I also have it set to automatically switch input sources as I switch to a document, but for some reason, it's just not working out very well for me. I feel like I'm always typing in the wrong language - particularly if I have tabs open in Safari with different languages, or something like Facebook chat which is in the same window, but may require all 4 languages.
I'm wondering if there is any way to set language-specific shortcuts, for example Control+Command+E -> English, or Control+Command+H -> Hebrew.
I looked in the menus of BetterTouchTool but could find nothing...
Do I need to make some kind of script or app to do this?
