Keyboard wont work when setting up a new admin account
I cant remember the admin password so I tricked the computer into thinking ir was a new setup so i could create a new admin account. I did:
A cmd + s at startup then typed
Mount -uw /
Rm /var/db/.applesetupdone
Shutdown -h now
I did not transfer data or create a new id
I tried to enter my wifi info and new account name but the keyboard now will not work! It makes a sound when I try to press any key. i cannot finish setup, I am stuck. The caps lock will turn on so I know the keyboard works. Please help!!
If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.

Why does my keyboard stop working when I get a new Facebook message?
Whenever I get a new message on Facebook chat, my keyboard stops working on all Firefox tabs. If I switch tabs or close and open the chat it starts working again. It's definitely not a problem with the keyboard, I've had no problems typing in Notepad while messages come in on the chat.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

IPhone 5 skips the wifi set up when setting up from new
My iPhone 5 skips setting up WiFi when setting up from new. I restored my iPhone because since I have owned it WiFi has not worked so I decided to do a restore to get it to go through the setup process but it skips it. Does this mean that the WiFi chip is faulty?

Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Restart your iOS device.
Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
Make sure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
If you still can't turn Wi-Fi on, please contact Apple for support and service options. If you can turn Wi-Fi on but are experiencing other issues with Wi-Fi, see how to resolve those Wi-Fi issues.

I setup my iCloud account on my iPhone 5 with the wrong e mail address, and I don't remmber the password, I reset my tel and erase all the information on my iPhone in order to try to set up a new iCloud account but when I restart I have a problem agaIn , they ask me to put again the old iCloud user account and password, what I can do in order to start the phone when I don't have the correct e mail and I don't remmber the passcode.?
I have the same problem as the emails go to my iCloud account that I cannot access!!! I cannot answer the security questions as someone else must have set up my iCloud account. Nothing seems to work. It would be great if someone has some ideas as what can be done to recover the situation?

My itunes account was disabled for some reason. I changed password in iforgot and still didn't work. I could log in and see my music but not make purchases from the store or even redeem an itunes gift card so I set up a new login/account with another email account of mine. On the new account I can redeem my gift card and download items onto my ipad2. Is there any way to move my music to the new account?
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select

Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).

I am setting up a new iTunes account and do not have a credit card. When I am setting the new account up it does NOT give me an option of "none" in lieu of an actual credit card. What do I do?

I suspect you want the ability to have users upload images and store the metadata of those images in a database, correct? That tutorial only shows how to upload to a specific location so the image can
be displayed in an iframe.
Search for "php file upload scripts" to see how to upload to a file system and store the metadata in the database.

As you are seeing, DW code is very limited in what it can do. It also generates code that is not up to current standards,and is very difficult to work with if you need to modify it. Basically, it's junk. Forget it and learn how to read and write code. There are tons on tutorials on how to get started with PHP. DW Server behaviors only seem like a time saver in the beginning. In the end, you'll end up wasting more time using them than learning how to code yourself. -
I downloaded apps with one appleid on my iphone. When my account was disabled I set up a new appleid & account. Now I cannot update apps on my iphone that were downloaded with original appleid when I login with my new apple id. What do I need to do?

Since the applications were purchased on the older account, you will need to log into that account to update them. The newer account will not recognize the purchases because they are not a part of the purchase history for the specific account. -
I have set up a second iTunes user account on my PC, but when I create the new iTunes account it copies the music, videos etc from the original account and they seem to be linked, so that when I delete a song from one library it deletes from the other one.
On the online tutorials I've seen it shows that when you create a new iTunes library it should open as a blank account, but that isn't happening.
What am I doing wrong?If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

When I got my new iPhone and was trying to switch everything over I accidentally set up a new icloud account with one email and had one on my old iphone with another account. Does anyone know how I can merge the two accounts?
You cannot merge Apple IDs but you can go to Settings > iCloud and 'Delete Account'. When prompted to turn off documents and data, choose the only option which is Delete from my iPhone, but on the other prompt for Contacts, Calendars, etc you can choose 'Keep on my iPhone' Then once the Account is Deleted form the iPhone, log back in with the correct Apple ID and choose Merge when prompted. This will merge your data from this iPhone with that iCloud account effectively putting your devices on the same account.

I have inherited an ICloud account from one of my employers when transferring from old MacBook Pro (which belonged to them) to new MacMini and need to separate from this, presumably by setting up a new ICloud account. How do I do this ? And is there any danger, in doing so, that I might delete any of her ICloud information ?
Sign out in System Preferences>iCloud. This will remove any synced data such as Calendars, emails and Contacts from your Mac, but will have no effect on the data on the server - so that other devices logged into it will continue to see the data.

Set up the new phone as a new iPhone (without using your backup), then update it to the latest iOS (7.1.2). Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup and follow the prompts. Hi, I have recently upgraded from and Iphone 4 to 5. I completed a back up on my iphone 4 via icloud which went ok. When setting up my new phone I selected to set up as a new phone and not via icloud back up. Is there anyway I can restore my details to my new phone? Thanks Hayley

Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and install any updates available.
Navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all contents and settings on the device you want to restore.
When this completes and the Set-Up Assistant starts, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose which backup to restore from. -
