KeyChain content lost from iPhone

I recently used the "reset network settings" option on my iPhone 6, this caused all WiFi passwords etc to be deleted, including from my KeyChain. The change also took affect on my other iOS and OS X devices which use the same Apple ID (and KeyChain).
I have managed to do a Time Machine recovery on a MacBook which has recovered the lost KeyChain items, and the MacBook is now able to connect to the networks which were previously deleted. However, I now need to get that info to Sync with my iPhone.
I have tried:
- restoring the iPhone
- singing out of iCloud on all devices and then back in again (to encourage the Sync)
Neither of these has worked.
Any advice on how to get the KeyChain info on my MacBook to push or sync to my iPhone, please?

It sounds like after resetting network settings on your iPhone, your Wi-Fi passwords were removed from iCloud Keychain on your other devices.
I'm glad that you were able to recover the information from your Time Machine backup. You've tried some good steps to get the data to sync again, and mentioned that you turned iCloud off and on.
If you turned the iCloud service off and on, be sure to also try turning iCloud Keychain off and on again, in this specific order:
If you can't sync iCloud Keychain with other devices
Make sure that your device is on a Wi-Fi or cellular network. If the connection appears strong, try these steps:
Turn off iCloud Keychain on all devices.
Turn on iCloud Keychain on the device that has the most up-to-date keychain items.
Turn on iCloud Keychain on your other devices. They will be updated with your new iCloud Keychain.

Unless you included your iTunes library with your computer's backup along with all other important data such as documents and photos, etc. stored on an external drive or some other external media used for backup purposes only, all iTunes content on your iPhone and all photos on your iPhone that was transferred from the computer that died will be erased from your iPhone when transferring any iTunes content and photos from the new computer.

Sorry, but officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items other than iPhone/iPod touch applications. The official statement of their policy can be found here, among other places.
For redownloading apps, look here for instructions. For songs, movies, and videos, if you don't have a backup of your purchased items and don't have them on another iOS device, you may be out of luck and will need to repurchase your content.
If you have your content on an iOS device, post back and someone here can help you get them restored. Otherwise you can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) ") and explaining what happened. Sync content disappearing from iphone

I had sync my music, purchase videos and some dvd movies onto my iPone yesteray. I even play some for friends that wanted to see a movie demo.
Tonight I was out with friends and they wanted to see the movie play on the iPhone. When I tried to select a video the iPhone said 'no vidoes' message and same for music. All the music and videos content I had sync the previous day was gone from the phone.
All the content is alive an well on my desktop and resyncing did not push it back to my phone.
I then tried de-selecting all the music and video to remove the content from the phone, then reselect and resync.
iTunes shows the content being pushed back to the phone in it's display. But no content is showing up on iphone. It shows 'no music' or 'no videos' on the display of the iphone.
So know what do I do to get them back on the iPhone?
the only thing that is ok, my contacts and iphotos stay intact.

Is it possible to block the iphone unit? i lost my iphone in Paris, am from Mexico. The number is blocked from the operator and the touchpad is also blocked, i am concerned about my data.

you could wipe your phone remotely if you use MobileMe and it's feature "Find my phone". If you don't, only the passcode will protect your phone. If somebody restores your phone on an other computer, the data will be not accessible for normal users, and to use all the features of the phone, restoring "as new phone" will erase it's content.
But, just to make sure, change the passwords you used on the phone for mail and other apps as well as your iTunes account password.

Lost "Encrypt iPhone Backup PW and can not Restore iPhone from iTunes?

Late LATE night attempt to Reset iPhone via USB connection to iTunes ened up insread with me Erasing All Content and Settings from iPhone directly after encrypted back up of phone to Macbook then attempting Restore from Macbook to iPhone. Lost most of my iPhone contacts and still cannot remember or find copy of pw for encrypted backup UNLESS that is because my Macbook is now encrypted with FileVault. I put a copy of the password for encrypting iPhone Backup in my 1password app and am positive it is good is only being rejected because Macbook in now encrypted. All I want is my iPhone contacts. So I am de-encrypting my Macbook now. Kind of in a pickle when you loose the only copy of you resonal contacts. Can anyone help sort this mess out? My level of computer competence is really lacking.
If they would just stop spying so much these things (encryptions, FileVault etc) would not be nessaccary.

The syncing is happening through the cell network not the wifi so it didn't help to turn off the router. Here's what I ended up doing that finally worked:
I restored the backup. Before I could use the phone, it takes me through a few steps. On the icloud step, I actually skipped it, so I didn't enter my password. At that point the phone was usable again so I went to settings>icloud and turned off Contacts. I double checked and my contacts were still on my phone. THen I went to settings>icloud and entered my password and the turned contacts back on. At that point it asked me if I wanted the contacts merged and I said yes. A few minutes later my contacts were still on my phone and I checked my icloud account online and the contacts had been syced there as well. Finally! It worked!

The only way photos are stored in icloud is in a backup from an ios device. This assumes that icloud backup was turned on and that camera roll was turned on. Note that photo stream is a slightly different service that is used to sync photos from one device to another, it's not really a storage service.
To retrieve photos that are in a backup, you need to reset a device (wipe all data from it) and perform a restore. Note that many users have had problems getting their photos back from a backup - for one reason or another. Remember, the suggested way of storing photos is to sync them to a computer or service like Dropbox.

HT1296 My iphone 4s is registered on my mac boo pro. Is it possible to sync my music from iphone to laptop without losing music content on iPhone

When I try to sync the music from my iphone 4s to mac book pro, I get a message that suggest that if I continue, the contents in my iphone will be replaced with whats already in the itunes on mac book pro (in other words my iphone 4s music collection will be all lost). Is there a way of syncing the 2 devices without losing any of the music. I seem to manage to sync other items like calendar, contacts, photos, books etc.

If the answer to the above question is "yes", FIRST, set up a backup of your new computer before you do anything else so the next time your computer breaks you will not be in the same situation. I want to back up an Iphone 3G and put all the content into Iphone 4. When Iphone 4 is connected to Itunes I do not get an Option to restore from Iphone 3G. IOS 3G - 4.2.1

I want to back up an Iphone 3G and put all the content into Iphone 4. After I have backed up the Ipone 3G and then when Iphone 4 is connected to Itunes I do not get an Option to restore back up from Iphone 3G. The only devive is see in the drop down list is my Iphone 4. The IOS on Iphone 3G is 4.2.1 and on Iphone 4 is 4.1.
Please share if anyone has any solution to such a problem.

You will first have to update your iPhone 4 in order to restore it from the backup of your 3G. Follow the directions here:

This is an erase/restore deal, so make sure all of your data is on your computer before you begin. iOS 6.1.2 will be installed on your iPhone 4.
Once done, on your iPhone 4: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. You'll now be able to restore your 3G backup to your iPhone 4.
