Keychain data won't load into new iPad Air. Contacts, Calendars, do

Currently I use an iCloud keychain on both a Yosemite iMac and a older iPad. After setting up a new iPad Air 2, using my iTunes restore, Calendars, contacts, bookmarks, everything works fine, but Keychain (Safari passwords & autofill) is empty. It doesn't ask another device for a code. Does't sync. Tried deleting back to new and restoring again, still no iCloud Keychain.
Safari websites on the new iPad ask if I want to save passwords to my iCloud Keychain , and do.... despite the fact that the items are in the original keychain, the one I cannot access.
Any suggestions?

If you are having an issue with syncing your new iPhone with the information that is in iCloiud (and on your other devices) we should make sure that iCloud is set up correctly on the iPhone. See this page for directions -

Youtube won't load on my iPad Air ?

Ok so basically I got a the new Ipad Air all of my apps that are on my iphone that I wanted to put on the Ipad i downloaded through the automatic download in the app store on the Ipad I downloaded Youttube the only thing is it never showed up, but in the app store it says OPEN and when I hit open nothing happens.
HELP PLEASE anyone experience this ? or know of a remedy ?

The videos require Flash, which the iPad doesn't have.
Adobe has not made a version of Flash for the iPad.

Help won't load into NEW IPOD keep getting error

Hello all!
I just got an 80GB ipod and have already added thousands of mp3's to iTunes. Now I have hooked up the ipod to sync and after SLOWLY updating 2 or 3 songs the error message says:
Attempting to copy to the disk "IPOD Player" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to
It then disconnects! HELP!!

Make sure your Windows software is up-to-date ;That you have all the recent updates.
Make sure your running the correct software version for your IPOD;
In your case it has to be ITunes Version 7.0 or higher.
Make sure your battery is okay or Charged.
Do a manual Reset on IPOD--by selecting>
Menu and Center simultaneously, for about 6 seconds.
You may have to do this several times.
See if this will help.
The next step would be to do the 5 R's.
These five steps (known as the five Rs) will conquer most iPod issues.
1. Reset your iPod.
2. Retry with a different USB port.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Reinstall iPod and iTunes software.
5. Restore your iPod.
as you may want to get more answers, before returing unit.
If you have a computer system problem then you'll have the same problem with the new unit.
However, I am a beliver in returing; if needed!

Audio books didn't load on new IPad Air

Why didn't my iTunes purchased audio books transfer from my IPad 3 to my new Air?

How did you try to transfer them ? Audiobooks are a one-time only download from the store (so they won't be copied by an iCloud backup/restore), so to get them form your iPad 3 you will need to copy them over to your computer's iTunes library by connecting it and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases and then syncing them - if you were trying to restore to an iTunes backup then were those audiobooks in your computer's iTunes library ?

Issues syncing new iPad air with iTunes

Hi everyone-
I work at an Apple Reseller and I am trying to trouble shoot an issue for one of my customers. He brought in an iPad 3 with information on it that he backed up to iTunes and wants to put it on his new iPad air. The issue is that the PC would not recognize the new iPad Air, but will recognize the older device. He is running Windows 7 on a PC and is using the newest version of iTunes. Does anyone know if there are any special drivers he needs to have? Or why iTunes won't recognize the new iPad air? Has anyone else had this issue? Please respond. Thank you!!

Do a full sync and backup of your one. I use iTunes for all my backing up. Then unplug the one and plug in the Air. Go through the setup process and when you have the choice to 'set up as new or restore from backup' chooose the the restore and your air will be a near clone of your One. You will need to reset up wifi and website passwords, but the data should be there.
Once you are sure the Air has all you need on it, you can go into the settings and 'erase all content and settings' which puts your One back to the 'out of box' state to you can sell it if you want.

In order to upgrade the new Air 2, I had to select "set up as new" from the menu. So, after the IOS upgrade is done, how do I "restore" the data that is backed up on icloud from my old Ipad? I don't see a menu item for that . . .

My iCloud/me email won't load on my iPad.

After I installed iOS 5, I migrated my MobileMe to iCloud. Now my me.com email won't load on my iPad and I can't see any of my contacts on my iPad (but i can access my @me email account by going to icloud on my computer. When I try to load my @me email address on my iPad, I get an error message that adam email address is already taken and that I need to create a new iCloud account. I already had an apple ID and an @me email address before installing ios 5. My family uses a different apple id for itunes than the apple id i use for icloud. Thanks for any advice on how to fix this.

New iPad Air 2 stuck in recovery mode, won't restore

My mother recently bought a new iPad Air 2 and found that the Touch I.D wasn't working, so she called support and they told her to restore the iPad, which she tried. When she tried to restore the iPad it says an unknown error has occurred and the iPad can't be restored. Now the iPad is stuck in recovery mode and only showing the connect to iTunes screen. I've tried restoring from different computers and restoring from a downloaded IPSW. At the moment the iPad is a very shiny paperweight that can't even turn on

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary.

Connect the old iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy your purchases off it and over to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, then take a backup of it (File > Devices > Back Up) and restore that backup onto the new iPad (restoring a backup onto a different device won't copy passwords, so you will need to enter your email account passwords, router password, and any passwords stored on Safari on your new iPad).

EASY SIMPLE FIX....
The problem is Google.
I had the same problem, couldn't install Gmail on my ipad or iphone and kept saying wrong / incorrect password, error messages. Worked for hours and hours on this.
It is Google's (optional) 2-step verification system that is to blame.
Google won't tell you this, and instead, they have come up with work arounds, and even telling people to install the Gmail iPhone/ipad app, which then limites the iphone/pad functionality when not using iphone's native mail.
FIX:
Logon to Google...
Go into your Google account preferenes
DELETE your cell number used for 2-step verification...... leave it blank
(it is optional, Google does not require you use 2-step verification)
Thats it. Your'e done.
Now set up your Gmail (now called Google) as usual on your Apple device.
You don't need 2-step (optional) verification.
There are other secure ways to do this. It is an option, but Google goes out of it's way not to tell you this.
(and a great way for Google to gleen your personal information, in the name of security)
