Keychain migration problem 10.3.9 - 10.5

I am in the process of moving my husband's user account from an old imac running 10.3.9 to an wiped iMac G5 PPC with a fresh install of 10.5. I used setup assistant and find now that the keychain didn't transfer. The older keychain is not the same format (homedirectory/library/keychain/login.keychain on the 10.5, homedirectory/library/keychain/his.name in the 10.3.9) so moving the folder homedirectory/library/keychain doesn't work. Safari's autofill items are also missing - can I assume this is the same issue?
Without manually entering each password, is there anyway to move these items over?

Log into his account, copy the his.name keychain over to his account, rename it login.keychain, and replace the one in his Keychain folder, log out and back in, launch Keychain Access, unlock the lock, and see if that does the trick. IIRC, the autofill stuff is stored in /Users/user/Library/Cookies/. So, you might want to copy that one over also.

What is Keychain Migration?

I used a 3rd party software program (that I've used for many years under OS 10.6.8) to create a bootable system backup of my OS 10.9.5 computer's HD onto an external OWC HD. When I went to test the backup, I was asked to provide a password by something called the Keychain Migration. Problem is that I've not set a password on the OS 10.9.5 computer and Keychain Migration wouldn't accept my no password password. The upshot is that after I dismissed Keychain Migration by canceling the window, then I no longer have permission to access my data files and none of my customizations to the OS or sidebar within finder windows are available on the OWC bootable system backup.
The OS 10.9.5 computer was purchased used from Amazon. I have no trouble opening System Preferences or Keychain Access with my no password password when booting from the OS 10.9.5 computer's internal HD. The version of the 3rd party backup software program that I used was the appropriate version for OS 10.9. I am in communication with that software's developer but would also like to learn from the Apple community just what has happened.
Any idea how I can either change the password needed for Keychain Migration or find out what that password is so I can have a functional bootable system backup on the external HD?

Apparently there were errors in the Keychain Access database causing differences between the password expected by Keychain Migration from that used by the Administer of the McBkPro's Admin User. To fix this go to Keychain Access's Preferences menu and run Keychain First Aid.

Photoshop/Elements to Revel Photo Migration Problem!

What happened to my Photoshop/element photos? They were supposedly migrated, but I don't see them! I have no albums in my Revel account.I had a paid subscriiption and it was cancelled back in or around February, and told that the photos would be moved over to REVEL...Can anyone help me to get them back?

First, thanks Pattie for following up with me. I am going to check my backed up hard drives to see if my photoshop materials are on them. It will take me a few days, as I have only small amounts of time to research it at this time. maybe a break will come in a day or two for a determination.

Is it possible you logged into Photoshop.com with a different email, or is it possible that you did not set up your Elements to sync with Photosho.com? These are the two main reasons users can not find their files.
The Photoshop.com account created in 2009 with the email you use to log in to this forum has no files in it, and therefore, nothing migrated to the Revel account with the same login. You do have a Revel account with the same login, but it is also empty since nothing migrated.

Keychain "login" Problems   Can't remember my Keychain password. Admin Password also does not help. Mac Mini(Late 2012) OS 10.10.2

Series of Keychain "Login" Problems.
Hardware: Mac Mini (Late 2012) 2.5 GHz Intel COre i5, 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3
OS X : 10.10.2 upgraded yesterday
Mail wants to use "login" keychain.   I enter Password but no success.
CalendarAgent wants to use "login" keychain. I enter Password but no success.
Com.apple.internetaccounts.xpc wants to you "login" keychain. Password, not successful.
At some point in past days I was offered to rename Keychain, so I did.
In Keychain Access, I deleted "Login"    and selected Delete references.
Just now I went into ~/Library/Keychains and found Login.Keychain and Login_renamed.Keychain.
I have renamed Login.keychain -> Login-old.keychain.
I renamed Login_renamed.keychain-> Login.Keychain.
In Keychain Access, I added "Login" back. This should be the renamed keychain.
Original problems still persist. No noticeable changes.
Keychain wants to use the "Login" keychain.   Can't remember my password or it is incorrect.

I turned off and turned on the computer. When restarting it said that it could not use the Login and did I want to create a new or use and alternate? I created new and for the moment things seem to be working under the command of the "New Login"
That still doesn't really alleviate the problem of the old login.

Manual Keychain Migration

Hi folks.
Just wondering how to manually migrate a keychain. I have so many computers that I'd like to start managing all my data somehow. Problem is, there is no regular export/import routine, so my login gets doubled up, something like that.

Hmm... Do you have a backup of your Keychain(s) folder on your main Mac? Do that before trying anything else.
You can manually move items from one keychain to another but that would be a real pain. Why not just add the Keychains themselves to your existing Keychain(s) and choose to "Share" the Keychain check box in, Edit >> Keychain list? That would seem to allow you access to all keychain items.

Keychain synch problem after upgrade to Leopard

I have two Mac, an iMac and a MacBook. I use the synch through .Mac and my main keychain is on the iMac which has the most extensive password lists. The MacBook has never synched through .Mac and has a shorter, less valuable keychain. I just upgraded both to Leopard and when I synched the smaller, less extensive keychain was put on my iMac and I lost almost all my most important items. Is there a way to get my "old keychain" back onto both, or at least my iMac?

Catalog Migration Problem from 10g to 11g

Hi,
When i am trying to migrate catalog of 10g to 11g. They have some problems
1. In obiee 10g (under root folder) it shows only around 5 dashboards. But actually when i am seeing in the I catalog manager of obiee 10g it shows 12 dashboards and pages.
Can some please help me on this how to see the other dashboards and page in obiee 10g ( under root folder ).
2. When i am trying to migrate the catalog folder in obiee 11g it also shows around 5 dashboards. And other dashboards are not seeing after migration.

Hi,
In Webcat, there can be some contents that are inconsistent/invalid. And such contents have 0 byte size. Please check if dashboards files that are not visible and their corresponding .atr files have 0 byte size.
Other possibility can be dashboards are hidden for the user-id you are using for login.

CUCM 8.6(2) migration problem with external calls

Hello all.
Yesterday we have migrated our telephone infrastructure from CM4.x to CUCM8.6(2), after some weeks of tests.
Yesterday night all seems to work properly, all phone updated and registered, external calls going out and in.
But from this morning, with all users at work, it appears a strange problem, that until now I couldn't solve: randomly all external calls go down.
I can't address this problem, since gateways (all cisco 2811 routers) are the same and with same configuration as yesterday.
All thing that I can think is that router that seems to cause the problem is configured not with mgcp by cucm, but with h323 route inside the router.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

But, maybe I've addressed the problem.
I've found a bug fixed into latest cucm release (8.6(2a)SU1) that say "h.323 calls improperly disconnected".
So I'm trying to upgrade from 8.6(2a) to 8.6(2a)SU1, but process fails :-(

Ummm,
Did you possibly try the default username/password combination? (cisco/cisco) It should then prompt you to change these settings once you gain access. I'm not familiar with how the migration works, if it transitions the user accounts over or you end up starting from scratch. Give that a try and hopefully it gets you into your new system.

ADF/Swing/JClient application migration problem from 10.1.3.5 to 11.1.1.3

Hi,
I am migrating an application from JDev 10.1.3.5 to 11.1.1.3 in order to deploy it to a java 1.6 JVM which is only certified with JDev 11.1.1.3
No matter what I do the DataBindings.cpx file content is emptied by the IDE, the migration was successful => no errors displayed.
I tried to solve the problem by doing the following but the file stays empty:
1) the removing the project from the application and adding it again, migration is done again => FILE EMPTY
2) adding manually the content in the source file then running XML validation => no errors, I close the file, reopen it and EMPTY AGAIN!
Your is needed and will be appreciated!

It seems the migration utility couldn't cope with the BC4JDataControl definitions, so I edited them manually.

I had some problem with migration of an existing application from weblogic personalization
server 3.2 to weblogic personalization server 3.5.I am not able to migrate the
ruleset from 3.2 to 3.5.I have followed all the instructions in the migration
document.So if any of you had encountered the following problem, maybe you could
help me.

I had created the directory e:\rules32.I had set the environment using the set-environment.bat
file before running this command.
I tried running this command directly too.However I am still having the same problem.

Flex 3 Migration Problems

Hi -
We are having significant problems after migrating between
Beta 3 and the GA release. Differences in the accordion component,
comboboxes, spacing, control focus, etc. Has anyone else had these
problems?
Is there a list of the things that changed between Beta 3 and
the final release?

This application is somewhat unusual in that we dynamically
create components in accordance with a user defined XML file. We
switched from BETA 3 Milestone 4 to the new released GA version of
Flex. The anomolies that we are seeing are in multiple areas. The
most evident are in the initial creation of widgets. We use an
Accordion component and programatically introduce child panels with
textboxes, comboboxes, etc. The comboboxes are tied to
ArrayCollections dynamically derived from web service calls.
Everything worked fine in BETA but when we switched, all hell broke
loose.
1) The Headers for the 2nd Accordion panel (there are two
total) is now off the screen
2) There now appears a vertical scroll bar, where there was
none in the BETA version
3) When attempting to select the 2nd panel, via the header,
it does not open the panel the first time. Disappears from view and
we have to scroll down to it and click the header again, at which
time it now selects the 2nd panel appopriately.
4) There are items in the comboboxes, but when I click tje
button to expose the dropdown the program starts behaving
erraticly. It will select another item, but the response becomes
extremely slow and eventually memory usage goes way up, the fan
comes on and the screen will eventually lock up
5) On the comboboxes which I have a typeahead programmed
(after 3 characters the component automatically calls a web service
to provide content via a database call). The content comes back,
but the behavior is different than it was during BETA. It should
display a dropdown list allowing the user to choose the corect
content. It now selects the first item in the list and does not
display the dropdown.
The behavior that I am seeing is different across the board,
from BETA to the new release version. It often ends up in some race
condition where it eats up memory and eventually stops responding
and needs to be force quit.

Hi, my current configuration is tomcat 6.0.18 and jdk 1.5. Here are the steps I followed for the migration.
1. Replaced struts.jar with struts-core-1.3.8.jar
2. Updated taglib .tld files which were under /WEB-INF and also kept the corresponding struts-taglib-1.3.8.jar files in lib directory.
3. Kept the external mappings in web.xml for the tld files though.
4. Updated struts-config.xml with

All class files are created during build.
I even deleted all the existing ones in tomcat/work folder.
So the classes are up to date.
Any other pointers?
Furthermore do I need to change the jsp header
<%@ taglib uri="/tags/struts-bean" prefix="bean" %>
to
<%@ taglib uri="http://struts.apache.org/tags-bean" prefix="bean" %>
and so forth?(I did that, and its compiling but during accessing i get the same error.)
The java deprecations shows Resources.getLocale as deprecated. Is that a problem,
and if it is how to replace it?
