Keychain periodically deletes all my passwords!

Hi guys. For some reason, Keychain will periodically delete all the passwords I have saved for no apparent reason. This is the third time it's happened and it's really starting to make me wary of using it at all. Each time it's hapened after I turn off my iMac overnight then switch it on the next day and poof! - passwords deleted. I've tried 'Keychain First Aid' in "Keychain -> Access -> Keychain menu" but each time it tells me that there's nothing wrong with it. Can someone please offer any suggestions? Thanks.

Firefox 32 and later builds store the passwords in the logins.json file in the profile folder and no longer use the signons.sqlite file.
If you still have the signons.sqlite file that was used in Firefox 31 and older then you could try to recover the passwords saved in that file (you will lose passwords saved in Firefox 32).
You can force Firefox to reimport the passwords from the signons.sqlite file.
* reset the signon.importedFromSqlite pref on the about:config page to the default value via the right-click context menu
* delete the logins.json file in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed
When you restart Firefox then you should have the signon.importedFromSqlite pref with the value set to true and you should have the passwords imported in the Password Manager unless there may have been errors.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

Should I first delete all saved passwords before assigning master password firefox 21

I want to start using the 'Master Password' feature. There are a couple of hundred 'stored' passwords in the Options-Security-Saved Passwords tab so I'm wondering if it would be best to delete ALL of these before setting up a Master Password. I will be changing and deleting several of the 'stored' passwords anyway. But my main question is whether or not the 'Master Password' would encrypt All of the existing 'stored' passwords and what if they have already been comprised by surfing anyway??

No need to delete that.
Master passwords are used to protect the saved passwords.

Seeing "Remember History" means that all history and cookie settings are set to the defaults. 
The "Use custom settings for history" selection allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting this doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.
If the settings are correct then you may have an extension that is preventing filling passwords.
Do all the names and passwords show in the password manager?
Do you get a drop down list when you type the first letters of a stored name in a website form?

FF-4 is a disaster! I upgraded to it and a got a message that all of my add-ons were not compatible. The a screen showed up saying it was installing all of my non-compatibles? The easiest way to update is to use the '''Help '''| '''Check For Updates''' menu.
Your bookmarks, passwords, customizations etc., are maintained in a folder which is not affected by the upgrade process.

ITunes periodically deletes all music from my iPhone

This has been a reoccurring problem over the past few months, about since iOS7.
After plugging my iPhone into my laptop, and opening up iTunes, the songs, while still listed on my iPhone, won't play, and will skip immediately, and the only songs that don't seem to be affected are ones that were purchased on the iTunes store. It does this for no reason, even though I have my music being manually managed. As such, on a bi-weekly basis, I have to wipe my phone's music, and then re-add nearly eight thousand songs to my phone.
I'm getting very frustrated, and will probably not ever again purchase any more Apple products for use as my phone in the future. I wouldn't have to deal with the absolute trash that is iTunes if I didn't need it to manage my phone.
How can I stop this from happening?

Depends whether you have selected Lock when Full or Wrap when Full for the Buffer Mode. If you have selected Lock When Full, the capture will stop when the the buffer is full. You can then Save the Buffer and download it in the form of sniffer file and start you capture again. This will over write the old data. If you have selected Wrap when Full, then it will continue the capture when the buffer is full. The oldest packets are discarded as new packets arrive.

How to delete all passwords.

I'm taking my iMac in to the Genius bar tomorrow to have them check it because it's running so slow. I have a feelilng that they will keep it for repair and I want to be sure all my passwords for places I shop, etc are off it. I can't find where they are stored. can someone guide me to the location of passwords....particularly those used online.

Hi.
Most of the passwords and Safari fill forms are stored in the keychain. You can access (and delete them) thru Keychain Access, located in Applications/Utilities.
You should also reset Safari and delete cookies and caches from other browsers you use.

Deleted all my keychains

I went to delete one entry in my keychain and deleted everything.
I have tried restoring from my back up idisk which seems to work but then says restore cancelled in history, which it was not.
I am unable to unlock keychains as it won't accept my system manager password which is all I have ever used.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You could try to enable the root account and login using that account to gain access to make changes to your keychain.
Use the NetInfo Manager and go to security and "enable" entering the root account password.
Log out and log back in using the unknown account with the root credentials.
Make your keychain adjustments and go back to NetInfo Manager and disable the root account.
Log out and back in with your normal account.
I don't know if this will fix your issue with any absolution, but it's easy enough to try it.

Keychain losing all my passwords on sync

There was an older post that said restoring from a backup solved the problem, but I had backed up AFTER the stupid thing started freaking out. Now, every time I sync to .mac, I lose every single password in my keychain.
This is beyond horrible, and makes me question whether there is any use to .mac at all, if I can't use it without whacking my system. This all started when I deleted all my old keychains to get rid of 3 years of junk in the keychain.

I have tried deleting the account and it deletes all my contacts. I have verizon and even using back up assistant, it says the contacts are there but they aren't. The only way i can find a contact is if I start to type a name in and new text but once i sent the new text, the name disappears and it just shows the number. Siri nor the address book don't recognize any contacts at all.

iTunes content you purchase is tied to the Apple ID used to download it. You cannot update from a different Apple ID. Also, these are public forums and Apple isn't here, so you posted your password for all the world to see. I'll ask the moderators to remove it.
