Keyframe using the puppet warp tool in photoshop CS6?

Is there any extension or way that will allow me to keyframe using the puppet warp tool in photoshop CS6?
I'm doing 2d animation, and I need to draw lines that I can immediately animate using puppet warp (you can't draw in after effects).

I am removing a dust spot from video clips taken during an aerial shoot. I have discovered that the only effective way to remove these spots effectively is to use PS6 and go frame by frame using the paint brush, clone stamp, and spot healing brush. It is very time consuming and mind numbing but the only thing that works with all tha movement of the aircraft and the ground below.
My question:
Right now to advance the clip one frame at a time - I must magnify the time line so to see the frame by frame lables. To advance to the next frame I must remove my cursor from the work area and go down to the time line and click on the next frame.
How can I advance to the next frame with a keyboard stroke and not move my cursor out of the work area?
Thank you in advance for any help.

  • Using the new Crop tool | Learn Photoshop CS6 | Adobe TV

Cropping is one of the most common operations in Photoshop. So it's only fitting that the Crop tool has experienced a quantum leap in CS6. In this movie, watch how to preview the angle of your image to confirm that your crop is plumb. You can revisit a crop any time you like, so you never waste effort. And by default, the Crop tool hides pixels instead of permanently deleting them.

I just installed the new PhotoShop CS6 on my iMac - I am used to it on Windows PC.  Now, when I crop, it does not resize the image to my 640x320 px (it keeps the original size)

  • Getting better results with the Puppet Warp tool?

In CC 2014, I'm not getting realistic looking results when using the Puppet Warp tool.
    1. Is it better to place more pins or fewer ones?
    2. Is this tool designed to make very subtle changes to an image or is it realistic to expect big changes to the composition of an image with it?
    Thanks.

You are not wrong.  Puppet Warp is a bit like Refine Edge in that it is not as intuitive as some of the tutorials would have us believe.  I still struggle with it.  All I can suggest is picking the best tutorials by going to Adobe TV
    http://tv.adobe.com/videos/puppet-warp/
If it is going wrong, rather than trying to make the most of a bad job, start again with better pin placement.  If you still end up with what looks more like a boneless string puppet than a real person, use tools like Liquify to put things right. Run a work path around the perfect outline, and use that to make a selection from which to use the clone tool to fix inside the mask, and a layer mask to fix pixels that have strayed outside the ideal profile.
Lots of PW pins are good for anchoring the bits you don't want to move, but less pins are better for the bits you do want to move.  Look at photographs that approximate your intended new shape, and use them to work out how the rest of the body (if that's what you are warping) would interact/react with your new shape.  Or just mime the action yourself, and see where your other limbs, and the rest of your body should look.

  • I'm trying to use the quick selection tool in Photoshop Elements 12 but it keeps getting stuck on minus.  How do I fix this?

I'm trying to use the quick selection tool in Photoshop Elements 12 but it keeps getting stuck on minus.  I've reinstalled twice and it will work for a little while and then get stuck again.  When I select something, I have one shot at it and as soon as I let go of the mouse it switches to minus and I can't add anything else.  How do I fix this?

When a tool misbehaves, go over to the far upper right corner of the tool options area and click the four-lined square. Choose Reset Tool from the popout menu.

  • I am running a laptop with windows 7 on it and trying to use the save as feature in Photoshop CS6 and won't let me save as anything. Please help?

I am running a laptop with windows 7 and am trying to use the save as feature in Photoshop CS6 and it wont let me save as anything. Can someone please help me with this?

A screenshot of your Photoshop work area showing the open file you want to save as, the Layers panel open, and the Save as... dialog open might give us a clue as to what is going on.
To take a screenshot and save it as a file
For Windows 7, Printscreen, open a New File in Photoshop, Ctrl v to paste, then save as jpeg (the other trick was for windows 8)
Use the Camera icon on your reply to upload it.
Also File > Save for Web is a good workaround if you just need a jpeg, png, or gif.

  • I am trying to use the Mini Bridge in Adobe Photoshop CS6 (desktop) and all I get is "Waiting for Bridge CS6 ..." in the panel at the bottom of the screen.

I am running on a Core i7 iMac with 20GB or RAM and have already done the two applicable steps in the main Adobe  help area relating to Switchboard (Error: Waiting for Bridge | Mini Bridge panel) to no avail. Any ideas?

Have you tried to start the bridge CS6  then open Photoshop CS6 try to use the mini bridge.
I have a problem on windows too.  Sometimes when I open CS6 version 13.1.2 and try to use the mini bridge Its panels has a message Bridge must be running and there is a launch bridge button. When I use that button Bridge  gets launched but may hangs before displaying its application window or anything in the mini bridge panel.  I can terminate the bridge when this happens with windows task manager and start the bridge. After doing that the mini bridge launch button became a reconnect button using it mini bridge then work.
I can also start Bridge CS6 before  Photoshop CS6 and mini bridge works as soon as Photoshop is up and running.

  • Where is the Magic Wand tool in Photoshop CS6?

Desperately need it for a project I'm working on, and seeing as I'm currently going through the painful process of moving from Coral Paint Shop Pro to Photoshop this is slowing it down no end.

  • I'm working in Photoshop CC 2014. Why is it that when I use the refine radius tool...edges become pixelated? When using Edge Detection and sliding the radius bar I get the same result.

I used the quick selection tool to get this far...I will be showing the result of adjusting the Radius slider...
At 5 px you can already see the changes to the edges...
    And at 30 px...

I've looked at this several times now, but it has me stumped! I just can't think of circumstances that might cause this.  The firs thing to try when things are properly weird is to reset Preferences (I don't think there is a reset option for refine Edge).
    Reset Preferences
Windows — Hold down Shift Ctrl Alt immediately after starting Photoshop
Mac — Hold down Shift Cmd Opt immediately after starting Photoshop
I'd be interested to see the original image.

  • In Photoshop 2014 how do you use the clone stamp tool and keep the image panel from moving

I don't quite know how to use the clone stamp tool in the Photoshop 2014 version.  When I click on the clone stamp it creates a duplicate of the image and it moves around and I can not apply the clone stamp to the area I want to correct.  How do you lock it down to keep it from moving?

    Hi Smoothery4501,
The Photoshop clone stamp tool allows you to copy one area of an image and copy it onto another area.
Click on the clone stamp tool then press the alt key on the keyboard and click on the image to define a source point.

  • How do I use the cookie cutter tool?

I have a lot of questions to ask on how to use this program. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 8, and I can't seem to get the tools to work. I click things on and nothing happens or I get a buzz indicating that whatever it is I want to do, I can't. I went to the cookie cutter tool and clicked that on. I figured out how to pick a shape, but then what? No matter what I clicked, nothing happened. How do I get it to work? I have a book called 'Teach Yourself Visually Adobe Photoshop Elements 8' and the pages are very clear, but whatever options are given in the book, I can't find in my program. I am sure part of the problem is that i have this program on a Mac. Maybe the Mac version doesn't work like the PC version. I can't seem to find any directions for this. I clicked on help and it brought me to a web page for Mac Photoshop Elements 8, and I did a search for 'cookie cutter' and nothing came up. I also looked at all the options available for help and didn't see any 'cookie cutter' tool instructions. How can I learn how to use this software? Thanks for any help.

I don't remember what the directions were yesterday, when I was experimenting with Photoshop, but I believe that the directions told me to use the custom shape tool, but I couldn't find it. It said to click on the rectangle, and a menu would come up, but no menu came up. So I thought I would just experiment and click on 'cookie cutter' and see what would happen when I clicked on it. I tried using some keyboard shortcuts to see what would happen (just trying to figure out how to get something to work) and at the web site for Photoshop for Mac, it said to click 'Q' (I can remember what was supposed to happen), but I clicked 'Command' and 'Q' at the same time and it closed the program! The web site didn't say which other key to use with the Q, and nothing happened when I just clicked the Q. Another thing I was trying to do was to make something in Photoshop (this was on another web site) and I had to go to 'window' then the next step was to go to 'channel' and click it on. I went to window and there was no 'channel' in the drop down menu. There were other options, but no 'channel'.

  • I scanned an image and want to use the image trace tool, but it doesn't pick up all the lines.  Is there a way to darken the lines before using the image trace tool?

I scanned an image and want to use the image trace tool, but it doesn't pick up all the lines.  Is there a way to darken the lines before using the image trace tool?  Help!

If the scan is in B&W, then play with the Threshold setting here
If it's in Color, then you will have to open the scan in a Raster editing software (like Photoshop) and play with the Brightness/Contrast settings to make the lines bolder.
