Keyframing Z axis in new 3d titles?

Anybody know how to keyframe the Z axis with the new 3d titles in the new 10.2 update? All the keyframing I see is only X and Y axis.....

There is no 3D keyframing in 10.2. There are many animation presets available and many have controls or different options from the default, which are in the Title inspector. For full 3D motion control you would need to use Motion.

I am new to DIAdem, I have been struggling for too long so I have decided to ask for some help, I hope someone can help me.

If you are using DIAdem 2012 you should use the new API. To get a starting point create the layout as you like and then open the corresponding dialog box and press CTRL-Shift-C. Then you have a lot of code in your clipboard, which you can past in you script editor and edit. The contents of the clipboard depends of the dialog box you opened.
You can also select an object in Report and press CTRL-Shift-C
For the new API you will also find tons of small scripts in the help, which shows you how to create labels, legend and titles:

Premiere Elements 13 , Problems with new text/titles

Premiere Elements 13, bisher keine Probleme. Nachdem die Filmlänge etwa 15 Minuten beträgt immer größere Probleme Titel/texte einzugeben. Wartezeiten sind extrem lange oder Programm stürzt ganz ab.

High ATR,
Computer running on Widows 7 ,64 Bit System, Service Pack 1, Processor AMD Phenom(tm) X4 945 3.00 Ghz;RAM 8 GB
Grafikkarte: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
If the video on the timeline is longer than 10 minutes the problem will be remarkable. The response times adding a title is getting longer(2-15 seconds).
As the video is now 18 minutes the response time is after each action(resizing of letters or any changes of the text) up to 30 seconds or the program crashes completely.
Project settings are the following:
General HD 1080i; 29,97frames/second; Video:1920v 1080 H, 30 fps
Video: maximale Bittiefe, Dateiformat i-frame only mpeg, Kompressor MPRG i-Frame, Standbilder optimieren
The video is a mixture of full HD videos 1920x 1080 .mov and pictures up to 4608x3456 pixels.
When the program crashes I remarked that the main memory RAM(8Gb) was fully used by the premiere program. Might there be a problem?

Motion keyframe effect stretch to new clip duration

Sorry for the lame subject title, but I'm not sure I know how to be more descriptive, or search for previously posted info about this.
I have 98 still images on a timeline to which I want to apply a "zoom in" motion effect, and add a 2 sec dissolve transition between each. Is there a way to apply the "zoom in" effect without the dissolve in between, and then, when I add the dissolve, have the motion effect stretch out to affect the new clip duration? As everyone here will know, the transition adds time on to both ends of the clip with the previously applied motion keyframes staying put. Obviously, the effect I get is a dissolve happens, the clip then zooms up, stops, and then the next dissolve occurs.
Sorry to over-explain something so simple. Just looking for, hopefully, an overlooked shortcut.

But in your method Alex, the transitions are adding frames at the beginnings of clips which means the new clip will dissolve completely in before moving. I'm sure that's not what the OP is looking for.
The easiest method for this is actually a variation on Arsenal's first post.
Apply a transition between the first and second pics in your timeline.
Then keyframe your move on the first pic so you are seeing all the available frames (including the ones used in the transition). If it's a simple zoom move for instance, mark a keyframe at the first frame of the clip, and then on the last frame adjusting the scale to taste.
Apply transitions to all clips in the sequence. If using the same transition this can be done easily by lassoing all clips in the timeline and dragging them into the Canvas, choosing overwrite with transition to apply the default transition to every clip. In FCP 7, this has been made even easier.
Once you have transitions on all your clips, copy the properties of the first pic (CMD+C).
Select all the other clips in the sequence. Hit OPT+C to bring up the Paste Attributes dialog box. choose Basic Motion and make sure that Scale attribute times is selected. Hit OK.
The same move from the first pic will be stretched or shrunk to fit the length of each clip in the sequence and FCP takes the transitional frames into consideration as well.

Adding new transitions, titles and themes?

I just purchased iLife 08, but do NOT care for iM08 at all, and will prefer to continue using iMHD'06 instead.
My question: Are there any websites that provide new FREE transitions/titles/themes that I can download into iM06?

Drag the transitions-don't apply
('update' button is not active for any of the title options)
You will not need to use the "update" button on any of your titles unless you are trying to , well..Update an existing title. As Lennart pointed out, you need to drag the "T" by the type of title ( Typewriter, etc) -not the actual words you typed- to the timeline at the beginning of a clip or at a point where you have split the clip.

Reinstalling DW on new computer {title truncated by moderator}

I have a very old website built with CS3. I have the software disc I purchased directly from Adobe 7/8/2008 which I registered. It is for Macintosh which I still use. (but not the same Mac that I originally installed DW CS3 in) I will have to insert the old disc and install CS3 in this newer Macintosh. Can anyone tell me if I reinsert the disc how I can change and correct some incorrect information on the website. I have not updated it in several years. Is anyone living in Sacramento or Roseville California that is close enough to correct the problems for pay?

Creating new metadata titles "names"

I have just started using Aperture 2.1 and I want to include model release ref# along with property release # . I do not see this available in the metadata catagories how does one create new "names"in IPTC OR EXIF.

Welcome to the forum.
You can add your own custom metadata tags (which won't be saved into exported files), but IPTC and EXIF are international standards - you can't simply add a new one as other software wouldn't know about them.

"New" document title

I'm writing a format plug-in that embeds the filename into the file header (8 characters of it, anyway). When I access the FormatRecord->fileSpec->name I get the ~PS....tmp name. When I use PIGetDocumentName() function I get the old name (before the user enters a new name). Is there somewhere else I should look? Is the fileSpec->name changed to the user's entry after a particular point or only after the file has been written?

A new playlist titled "**** Off!" has appeared out of nowhere on my iTunes

Well I'm the ONLY one who uses my comp...so nobody else put it on there. It's right underneath the "Purchased" playlist, and it has a dark blue icon with a music note in it, and a padlock in front of it. If I click it, on the top it acts as if it's trying to access something by saying "Loading **** Off!" Nothing happens...it doesn't load anything...and I can't even delete the playlist "**** Off!"
So what is up with this? I just downloaded the new version of iTunes and all of a sudden that comes up.

How do I reset the default axis on new Illustrator documents to 0º of rotation.

It seems as though the axes in my Illustrator CS4 installation are rotated. Whenever I create a new object, the new object is rotated about -5.2º. When constraining the rotation of objects, the rotation is never square to the document edge. How do I fix this?

That did the trick! The Constrain Angle setting didn't do what I expected it to do—I thought it was a "snap to" setting.

You don't. Everythng downloaded with one Apple ID can not be transfered to another Apple ID. So you would need to buy it a second time. This is one of the Pit Falls of the whole Download only model.
That is why I refuse to buy things like music or movies that are tied to a specific User Name, ID.

Position keyframes for titles not acting properly; keep moving backwards near end keyframe

I have no clue what in teh world is going on here. i will set a keyframe in the beginning for the titles initial start point. Move ahead 2 seconds. Set a keyframe. Move the title to where I want it. Play it back, and then right before the end keyframe, the title will go the complete opposite direction if I have another keyframe ahead of it I want it to go to. So yeah, it moves back then moves forwards to the next keyframe. Please help me understand this lunacy.

Having recently encountered this issue, I searched the web for a solution and stumbled upon this thread, which to my surprise was not only left unanswered, but also seemed to be the only search result that was directly relevant to my problem. Luckily, I was able to adapt some advice from a similar situation. Since I finally discovered a solid method, I figured I would offer my knowledge to anyone else treading the same path as me.
I guess they call something like this a "wobbly" keyframe. In After Effects, someone gave the advice to right click and change the temporal interpolation to LINEAR. In premiere, I noticed that they were ALREADY linear, but then I recalled Shooternz post about a spatial ease.
Highlight ALL the keyframes, right click, then select Spatial Interpolation and click on Linear. This should solve the issue. You can then add eases and such to meet your goals.
I knew from the beginning that it must have been an invisible knot in the bezier curves. I pulled the bars in every direction, but all it did was tighten or loosen the knot, causing the motion to speed up or slow down, but it would always hit the knot and reverse before continuing forward. You know how Illustrator will create crazy-looking lines when you try to add too many points with strong curves? Well the same logic applies to this, but Premiere has a much more difficult interface when dealing with bezier curves. In other words, by getting rid of the extra curves instead of trying to fix them like you can in Illustrator, it fixes the problem much more easily.
I hope I helped to clarify the issue and help you understand the logic of what went wrong, so you can move on now and perhaps adapt this knowledge to future obstacles.

Help! New Blog Summary Page titles are publishing in red!

Hi. All of a sudden, for no apparent reason, my new Blog titles, and the "Read more..." link on the cover/summary page, are publishing in red rather than black to the folder. The older ones still publish in black. It's doing it on two separate Blog pages. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please

Hi, thanks for your reply. I don't see anything signifying a default color in the hyperlink section of the inspector. The titles have always shown as black on the blog entry page in iweb, and in the blog summary page the titles and "Read more..." have always shown as red, with the rest of the text in the entry being black. And then all the text has always gone to black after publishing until now. As an experiment I changed the color of one of the titles to green, and it still published in red.

How do you make a title just fade away

I would like to put a still frame title into a clip, and instead of having it just be on the screen one second and a few seconds later instantly be gone, I would like to make the title slowly disapear into nothingness? Anyone know how to do that?

Yes, I'm very sorry. I keep forgetting that Encore and PPCS4 are separate programs. Yes, you do indeed create fading titles in PPCS4. I finally figured it out today. All that is necessary is to Put the new title on the timeline. Then place the timeline indicator bar, or whatever that thing is called, at the front of the title box on your timeline. Open up the effects control box, and expand the opacity box. Click the little diamond on the right side, and this will add a keyframe to the beginning of your title. Go to the end of the title box and click the diamond again to add a key frame to that end. Then just grab the keyframe on the right and pull it down. The title will disappear over the length of the time that it is on your screen.

I could be wrong, but isn't this something that one would do in PrPro?
Now, if one wanted a Menu (in Encore) to "fade away," they could create (in PrPro) a Button Transition to do that.
