Keynote '09 Presenter Notes on iPad invisible to audience

How do I view my Keynote '09 presenter notes on iPad while using a projector for the presentation? I don't want my audience to see my presenter notes. Is this possible?

In presentation mode you have and option on top right of the ipad screen. touch it and you can change the view from full slide, next slide, actual slide and next slide and the last is with notes.
Hope will help

  • Presenter notes on iPad Keynote

Is there any way to display, edit, or view (while connected to VGA) presenter notes?

Presenter notes would have been nice.
But why can't I see the slide I'm projecting except in a teensy thumbnail? I present without notes and rely on seeing the slide on my laptop to prompt me. Has nobody at Apple ever DONE a presentation? Or perhaps the iPad Keynote designers are so brilliant that they can remember exactly what "Slide 23 of 30" in their presentation is.
I'm really surprised and disappointed with what I'm reading about Keynote. Being able to carry a smaller presentation device to my classes was a major selling point for me. Until Keynote is more fully-featured, there's no point in getting an iPad.

  • Keynote widescreen presentation not in 16:9 on iPhone 5

On my MacPro I produce a lot of Keynote presentations, all of then in the widescreen, 16:9 screen-ratio as they all play on flatscreens.
That the iPad with its basically 4:3 screen ratio plays these presentations in a kind of 4:3 "letterbox" format is something I do not like,
but hey, OK, I've learned to live with that.
What I do not understand that on the new iPhone5 with its 16:9 screen, Keynote does NOT play a 1920x1080 Keynote presentation in wide-screen
and even worse it does not play it in full screen. Instead it works with the same 4:3 screen ratio and the same letterbox.
Is this something Apple would be able/willing to correct any time soon? Or is there a workaround?

  • Printing Presenter notes in Keynote.

I have created an extensive Keynote with presenter notes. There is a potential that I may not be able to have my computer in front of me during one of my presentation. Can I print out just my notes. Thanks!

"Here are a few things you can try:
Instead of Paste and Match Style, try just Paste. I Did that and there was no change.
Instead of MS Word, try pasting the text into your Text Edit application I Did that and there was no change.
Make sure that when you copy from Preview that you don't include any of the slide images in your selection. I Did that and there was no change.
When preparing to Open PDF in Preview ensure that you have "Handout" selected vice "Slides With Notes" so that your print dialogue looks similar to the one I posted earlier and that you select "Open PDF in Preview" vice any of the other options I Did that and there was no change.
If you are using MS Word for your text editor, look on your Standard Toolbar and see if there is a button with a paragraph mark on it - this will allow you to "View All" and see invisibles on your page - you can add this command to your toolbar in MS Word if needed using MS Word > Tools > Customize > View > View All > Add to Tool bar. I Did that and each word had a paragraph symbol after it. I don't know why that would be. I'm now looking to see if I can simply get rid of all paragraphs at once on the document.
    Thanks for all your help.

  • How do I enlarge the "presenter notes" window when running my presentation on an external display?

In the latest version of Keynote, the "Presenter Notes" window is a small horizontal field at the bottom of the presenter's computer screen.  Only 3-4 lines of text can be seen.  This means that when you have a few paragrahs of notes, you have to scroll through them as you are presenting.  This is very cumbersome.  In the previous version of Keynote you could change the relative size of the slides versus the "presenter's notes" boxes when running a presentation on an external display, but in the new version, I can't find a way of enlarging the "presenter's notes" field.
Also, in the new version, the preview slide doesn't show the initial text on the next slide if that text emerges as a "dissolve in" build when you advance forward through your slides.  I always have the initial text on my slides automatically "dissolve in" after each slide transtion.  But in the new version of Keynote, when in presenter mode, I can't see any of the text on the "next slide."  This makes it difficult to anticipate what slide comes next . . . without going to the Navigator.  Does any one have a solution for this?
    Thank you.

I figured it out with the help of a post from a few days ago.  Although posted for a different problem, I followed these steps from Cornelia-I and it worked like a charm:
You can change the link of LR to the images from the network drive to your local drive, best done on parent folder level: right-click the highest folder in library left panel, and choose update storage location. In the opening dialog window point it to your internal folder.

  • Is there any way to view a keynote presentation and the presenter notes on the iPad at the same time?

Is there any way to view a keynote presentation and the presenter notes on the iPad at the same time? My professors at school have keynote presentations and i take notes during class with the presenter notes feature. I was wondering if there was any way i can view both of them on the same screen on my iPad while studying? This way I could see their slides along with the notes i take during class.

None that I know of. Suggest to Apple.
    Send feedback to Apple.

  • Is there a way to stream a Keynote presentation from my Ipad to my Apple TV, but be able to open a different application on the Ipad without it mirroring on the TV?

I have just bought an Ipad and Apple TV and am wanting to have a Keynote presentation playing through the TV from the Ipad, but be able to open other applications on the Ipad without them also being mirrored and interrupting the presentation. I know you can show presentation notes in Keynote without them showing up, but is there a way to open up a whole new application?

no it's mirror because it show the same thing on Apple TV and IoS device

  • How can i transfer a keynote presentation from an iPad to another iPad? I haven't a wifi connection.

How can i transfer a keynote presentation from an iPad to another iPad? I haven't a wifi connection.

Depends on how big the file is.  If itis only a couple of pages, or mostly text, the easiest way would be to e mail it.  If it is a very large file you are going to need wifi.  Take both pads to starbucks, and e mail it from there.  Or if you have wifi, use drop box, for example.
Your other choice, avoiding wifi would be a bluetooth type transfer.  There is an app call bluetooth file lite that reads like it will do what you need.   The good news is it is free.  The bad news is that it has terrible ratings.  For grins, i am installing it now on a pad and a phone, and will see if it works.
With a bluetooth method, you need both devices in  the same place.  If you are trying to send your file across country, bluetooth will not work for you.  you need e mail or drop box type solution, and if the file is big, you will almost certainly need wifi.

  • Is it possible to keep the outline auto formatting from Pages when copying and pasting that outline to the Presenter Notes on Keynote?

I have been using my iPad for my notes, but I want to start using it as a remote for my macbook. When I copy and paste the notes into the Presenter Notes section of Keynote on the macbook, it unformatted. Any bullet point formatting that I do on my macbook is not showing on my iPad's Remote view Presenter Notes. Is there a way to create consistency here that does not involved formatting each one separately?

    Use Drag and Drop
Have both applications open side by side
    select the text in Pages
with the mouse drag the text from pages into presenter Notes pane in Keynote

  • Keynote presentations notes

I make simple presentations on my mbp then download them into my iPod Touch 4th gen for connection to a VGA TV.  I use an iPad 2 with Keynote remote to control it.  However, when I transfer the presentation from the mbp to the Touch I lose all the text formatting on my presentation notes.  Is there a way to underline or bold text or change text color in the presentation notes that works on the Touch?

The Optomo projector pico mirrors exactly what is on my mac pro. Any help appreciated Thanks, George UK
Apple Menu > System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement:  de-select the Mirror Displays checkbox
In Keynote 6.5.2 whilst in rehearse presentation mode there is now no switch screen button on the top right like there used to be.
Press the X key on the keyboard to swap presenter display with Presentation.

  • I am trying to add a video to my Keynote presentation on my iPad. Since I am 2 hours away from my computer to use iTunes. Is there a way to move videos to the camera roll so I can use them?

I am trying to add a video to my Keynote presentation on my iPad. Ideally I would like to be able to play the video in the presenation sream rather than switch between apps. Since I am 2 hours away from my computer to use iTunes syncing to move them there is not an option. Is there a way to move videos already on the iPad to the camera roll on iPad 2so I can use them?

  • Actions defined in Keynote are supported in iPad iBooks and not in iPad Keynote itself...

When I use actions in the build of slides produced with Keynote on my Mac, they work well on my iPad when I integrate this Keynote presentation in iBooks Author using the Keynote Widget.
But strangely enough actions used in a Keynote produced on my Mac, are not supported and ignored when I want to run that presentation in Keynote on my iPad.
So there are actually some Mac Keynote features that work in iPad's iBooks but not on iPad's Keynote.
Can anybody explain these inconsistencies between Apple apps please?

I came across this discussion and thought I could share something that I discovered today. This may help so here goes:
When creating a keynote presentation on the MAC OSX (Hyperlinks ONLY) (I use Lion 10.7.4), then sending to brand new iPad (Version 3) via iTunes, many of the Hyperlinks did not work as well. Heres what I found out by process of elimination, and you might try.
It turns out the Hyperlinks DO NOT WORK on the iPad when the hyperlinked item is part of a "Group" of items. The odd part is if you ungroup the items and then select ONLY the one item to be hyperlinked, then go to the tools, advanced, "Interactive hyperlinks" the hyperlink created on the Mac already shows up correctly, becuase it was there the whole time ! Bizzare, dont you think. For some reason Keynote on an iPad does NOT like any of the hyperlinks to be part of "grouped" items with any other items or they DON'T work !
MY solution is this (A slight paint, but it worked 100%) Create your entire presenation, then make a copy version of the file, then enter the new version and make sure  ALL hyperlinked items are ungrouped. Then resend to iTunes, and import into Keynote on iPad and Voila !!
    I hope this helps.

  • Presenter notes iPad

  • Can't upload my '08 keynote presentations to my iPad 2 '09.

I have multiple talks that I've made using my MacBook 2006 running snow leopards and keynote '08.  I would like to have my presentations on my iPad 2 for several reasons - it's easier to carry around my iPad 2 and the talks are more accessible on the iPad; they open more quickly.
I've connected my iPad to my MacBook and added the talks under apps successfully, but when I go to the iPad Keynote app to copy the presentation from iTunes, it starts to download, but then I get a message stating that only presentations saved in iWork '09 can be imported.  Now here's the rub.  I decide to update keynote '08 on my MacBook to '09 by going to the App Store, but when I try to purchase the new app, I get a message stating that keynote '09 is only compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 aka lion.  Ok.  I go to download lion, which I learn has been updated to mountain lion (I know I'm a little behind, but I really use my iPad 2 more now), so I go to download mountain lion, but I get a message that it's not compatible with my MacBook.  It's compatible with MacBooks made post 2007.  So, I've actually been contemplating buying a new MacBook, but as mentioned, I really want to use my iPad more.  The main reason to buy a new MacBook would be to be able to use keynote '09 so I can save my keynote '08 talks in keynote '09 so I can get it onto my iPad 2, which would then negate the need for a MacBook.  WHAT SHOULD I DO!

Buying a MacBook purely to convert some files does not appear to be an economic investment.
There are many friends and colleagues would convert the Keynote files for me, my local Apple dealer would also do this fro free.
Ask around and see if the files can be converted, then import to iPad and save on the MacBook purchase.

    Hey mjmsurrey60,
It sounds like the iDevices have gotten out of sync with the home network.  I would advise a full power cycle of the circuit involved.
Unplug the 8600 while powered on
Unplug the power from the router
COMPLETELY power off the iDevices, not simply put in sleep mode.  Click here for information about how to do so on an iPhone.  The steps are similar for other iDevices.
    Wait 30-60 seconds
Plug the router back up and wait for it to completely power back up
Plug the 8600 back in for power
Power the iDevices back up and wait for them to sync with the network again
    Try to print again
    Let me know the results.
