Keynote 2 and web link problem

Newbie to Keynote....when I try and insert a weblink on a page, the only one that will show up is my homepage. I try and replace the URL with something else, hit update and it returns to my homepage. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

possibly. The only way to tell is try it with another site and see if it works.
If not, I think you might have to toss your internet prefs. I vaguely remember that fixing this problem early on when K2 came out.

Keynote doesn't have a way of creating links that will allow you to do that. I've tried and was never successful in getting a link to open a new window.

Setting OF LD_LIBRARY_PATH AND WEB CACHE PROBLEM [SHOWING PREVIOUS PAGE ]

*2. When we created program generated report it shows correct result after some changes in file and generate again it shows first means previous page result as it is not take changes in that file. Even we tried out side made one .text file and open edit and save. It's given same result. So What is the problem regarding it?*
It is the matter of Browser Cache or WEB Cache. Where is the settings of it?

If you're compiling it yourself, you should set the library path then. If not, you can try something like this:
env DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=$DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH:/path/to/add-on-libraries orca ...
but I'm not sure it will work.

Acrobat Reader 9.3 and 8.0 and IE 8 and web links

This is a bit odd but the last few days I have been having problems with Reader 8.0 and IE8 in that if I clicked a web link to a pdf then the new page just hung and gave the error "There is a problem with Adobe Acrtobat/Reader. Please exit Adobe Acrobat/Reader and try again." I upgraded to Acrobat 9.3 and have the same problem.
I looked further into the issue and found that this only occurs if the pdf file is opened in a new page. If the link target is not _blank then the file opens fine with no problems.
Has anyone else had this problem or know of a fix?

I hear what you are saying and everyone hates IE but we have to design for all browsers.
I guess the best work round is to forget the target as _blank and wait until Microsoft stop that working in IE as well!
Just thought someone else might have found a work round or that Adobe would want to find a fix also otherwise people will stop using Acrobat Reader as well.

Incorrect URLs in Breadcrumb and Web Links

Hi BSP Experts,
I have an issue which I cannot resolve and hope you can help.
I have copied three pages: prebook.htm, training.htm, trainingtype.htm from the standard LSO application HCM_LEARNING to ZHCM_LEARNING. Table LSPAGE_ALIAS_C has been updated accordingly.
However, when I try to navigate back to the catalog. using the breadcrumbs at the top of the page I receive the following error:

I also get a similar error when I try to navigate to a web page (I0061 Web Link) via the u2018links to more informationu2019 section.
I can see that the system is trying to incorrectly call my bespoke application ZHCM_LEARNING and not the original or parent application HCM_LEARNING. I did consider copying the whole of the application HCM_LEARNING to ZHCM_LEARNING but this seems to be over kill and probably will not solve the web link issue. Seem a pretty simply issue but I cannot find the solution u2013 Is there a piece of config. I have missed or incorrectly set?
I have identified SAP note 0001156488 but the update has already been applied as the sytsem is on release 604.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks for the prompt reply - you have half solved my problem! I copied the whole application and the breadcrumbs navigation now works but unfortuately I am still getting a similar error with the 'web link'/ 'Links to More Information'.

Creating DVD with PDF files and web links

Hi all, first I'd like to say that these forums are a big help. I've spent DAYS scouring through topics learning. Of course, I know this opens it up for someone to post a link to a thread where my question has already been answered. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find the specific help I need and would like to open a dialogue with experts.
I am creating a marketing DVD for a product. We produced a video for it, but the client also wants the audience to have access to a large amount of research in this specific field. This exists as PDF files and links to websites.
His previous Marketing CD was just that, a CD made with FileMaker and had the files and links and only worked in PC computers. I do not want to go back in that directions.
I want to make an informative DVD with the video and a few pages of selling points and cool tricks (I discovered multilayered menus working on this!) for those viewing on TV or Computer, and then an option for Computer users to click for more info.
How do I put PDF files on the disc and how do I put web links on there?

DVDSP uses a tool called DVD@Access. It enables a user to link to URL and call such documents as pdfs. The problem is that its never was reliable - especially on the PC side of things.
There have been many of posts in the last 2 days about its use. Do a search and you'll see.
DVD was not designed with the web in mind - it was conceived long before that time. linking to "outside" documents requires a third party tool to take over.
Just beware! - in fact if your client came to me I would refuse to do the job. I've seen the problems that exist doing work like this especially if your distributing to a large audience with different OS sets ups. If one of the users has Vista you can forget about it working at all.
My suggestion would be to design a menu that tells the user the file paths to your pdfs or URLs on the disc.

Signatures in Mail have mail and web links...attachment???

I have several email signatures but all have a link for my email and web address.
Why do the recipients get me the signatures as attachments and not how it appears on my composed email?

From the Mail menu bar, select
Mail ▹ Preferences... ▹ Signatures
Drag the signatures to each of the desired accounts in the list on the left. If you want one to be the default signature added to all messages sent from that account, select the account, and then select from the Choose Signature menu at the bottom of the dialog.

Integration and Web Links

Hello,
I notice it's possible to pass %%%User Id%%% along in a web link to a service, and that will get filled in with the user's Siebel Username. Is there a way to pass the password, or some other way to establish an api session with Siebel for non-Single Sign On customers? We want the customer to be able to click a link to our system, and not have to provide their Siebel password to us in order to establish an api session.

Adding email links and web links????

I am looking to make a wdding invitation on DVD using Final Cut or IDVD or I Movie? can anyone tell me how to add an email link or a way to add embedded web links that if someone inserts this dvd into their computer they can click and it will open their default email software and automatically RSVP via email, or perhaps get directions to the church, hall etc on Mapquest? can someone help or can anyone come up with an alternative idea?

BASIC authentication and web client problems

I have a very simple web service that is working. Now before attempting to use
SSL, I want to test authenticating using BASIC authentication. I’ve made the
changes to web.xml and even though the other web service pages authenticate ok
(ex. http://localhost:7001/fileexchange/FileExchangeFacade), I am prompted again
for authentication for web service itself. I can never authenticate to http://localhost:7001/fileexchange/FileExchangeFacade?operation.view=helloWorld.
Has anyone completed this and if so, how does it work? I must have missed something
simple.
First, I setup the security constraint as follows:

That allows me to secure / authenticate to the JSPs in the web service test app
provided. Then I tried working with the admin server console to setup roles /
privileges. I couldn’t get this to work but I easily could have done something
wrong since there are no step by step examples other than the general docs in
the programming guide.
Next, since the web service deploys as a web application, I figured the problem
must be that the internal WLS servlet needs security information defined in web.xml.
I saw the programming guide listed the servlet name and discussed servlet mapping
so I added the normal security entries for a servlet as follows and re-jarred
the WAR and EAR.

Ok, this looks like an issue with the test page.
When the test page gets a request to invoke a
web service, it creates a client proxy and call invoke
on the proxy. This will case the client proxy to
create a new HTTP post connection to the server.
Test page pulls out the username/passwd from the
GET request from the browser and pass it to the
POST request it makes to the web service. I think,
the test page needs to do the same for realm. I will
file a CR for this (CR105320).
Please contact support with the case number if you
need a patch for this.

Apple Game Centre And Facebook Link Problem!

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the app Treasure Diving! One of the achievements acquired is to link your Facebook page to the game! It's one of the first thing's the game asks you to do! I have done this and my friends on Facebook are in my game friends list so I know it is working! However according to the game centre it isn't linked and I haven't achieved the Facebook link on the achievement list! This is extremely annoying since the game as asked me to complete all the achievements! As part of the game that I have already done, it is so annoying that it hasn't been acknowledged by game centre! Has anyone else had a problem with game centre and the Facebook link? Does anyone know if this issue is being worked on and going to be fixed any time soon?

Verify iOS requirements
Make sure the app is compatible with your iPhone software:
Check the requirements in the App Store.

Output Link and Command link problem

I have this command link that I want to redirect to a certain url, a complete one with the Http://www.webpage.com.. and its value is Goto This Page..
lets say I want it to pass through a certain backing bean before redirecting how am i supposed to do it...?
before it was this simple:

Video and audio linking problem, and others?

So, I am having 2 main problems. When I first started using FCE everything was great. Then, I changed some settings, and for some reason, it doesn't work like I want it to. So, my first problem is linking. When I import, it is automatically unlinked, but I think FCE thinks that it is! When I do press Apple L (shortcut to link video and audio) it still isn't linked! How can I get it to link?
My 2nd problem may be linked to the first. When I want to make a cut right on the playhead, it is really hard to get it on the playhead. Previously, it would just snap on the playhead if I got close, and now it doesn't! How can I get it to snap better?

1) Make sure linking (Shift-L) is turned on before you add your clip to the timeline. To manually link audio tracks to your video tracks select the two and go to +Modify > Link+ (Command-L).
2) Make sure snapping is turned on in the timeline. Hit the "N" key to toggle it on or off.

BEA and Web Services problem

I'm new to java and trying to educate myself in this field and therefor I have this question.
I'm trying to develope a web service to bea. I successfully managed to deploy bea's web service example called Trader(EJB version). Available at webservices.zip that I downloaded from this site(src\examples\webservices\complex\statelessSession).
But now I'm facing a problem that I can't figure out how to read data from HttpRequest- is this possible at all with EJB? For example I would like to get username from header? Or usually X509 certificate is added to request and how can i deal with it?
Currently I'm able to read only data specified in the procedure defined in the interface. For example:

Any help would be appreciated :)
