Keynote 6.1 slide slider for slide scrolling has disappeared! Any clues?

Since upgrading to Keynote 6.1, the slider on the left in navigation mode, for slide scrolling has disappeared! Any clues?

The scroll bars only appear if there are items hidden from view because of the window size, the scroll bars are fully functioning in all Keynote versions.

First try resetting the tool by clicking the tiny arrow at the far left end of the options bar and choosing reset tool.
But you should be able to use the arrow keys to navigate through the fonts, too.

Do any fonts work or show up at all in any application?
Have you installed any new Fonts or Adobe/MS Apps?
See if you can run Font Book in Applications, verify Fonts & check for duplicates.

For "Key not valid for use in specified state" errors try moving the folder RSA from C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA to say C:\<User>\RSA (just in case there should be a need to restore it) then try installing again. This folder appears to act as a cache and should be rebuilt automatically as required.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Please keep the latest drivers for the network adapter, you can browser the manufacture website for the latest driver.
If you've already have the latest drivers, I suggest you remove all existing network profile including the issued one, then recreate the network connection, check this issue again.

You can also try to reset your network settings on the iPad. Go to Setings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

Headphones stop working after a certain time and the notification for sound change has disappeared

I have a Pavilion dv6, and occasionally no sound will go through headphones when the jack is plugged in. The headphones themselves are not at fault, they are brand new and work fine.
When the headphones are plugged in, the sound will only go through the laptop speakers. I've tried updating the drivers, fiddling with the jack and socket (as I read on google), the only resolution I have found is to restart the comp, which is a bit of a pisstake in all fairness and I'd rather not do that every time it happens.
5 minutes ago I was watching a TV show, listening through the headphones, when I pulled out my USB mouse (and accidentally the charger with it). The sound then switched from the headphones to the speaker.
If I open the sound settings, it will display the headphones as being plugged in, but the sound indicator bar (thingy) will only rise and fall on the speaker icon bar.
Currently I have the audio jack pulled out about a centimetre, this allows sound through the headphones, but the sound is noticeably different to what it should be.
I had rolled it back to "High Definition Audio Device", then reinstalled it to the most current driver. This hasn't fixed it.
Also, this may be a related issue: (I guess) around the same time, the beats audio notification that pops up on screen when the volume is changed has disappeared and doesn't display when the volume has changed.
In microsoft sound control panel, it has the default speakers and the headphone logo, when i plug in the jack, a green phone circle thing appears by the headphone option, meaning it works i guess. However, the description changes from "ready" to "default communications device" and nothing changes for the regular speaker device.
When I go to >configure, and test each (L/R) speaker, if the headphones are plugged in, the noise is louder then when they're not plugged it
But yeah, brand new headphones, brand new laptop, it's mad. What's madder is that the headphones will work for x amount of time, then stop working when I next try to use them...

2 questions--I've tried the cookies/cache thing but when I try to register a site, it still says I have a problem with my cache and cookies setting, and my icons for tools, etc has disappeared from my tool bar, how do I get them back?

I did the self help to set private settings, delete cookies and no tracking of my visited website, and delete history...but when I try to register on a site to send them emails (comments) i keep getting sent back to an error page that my cache/cookie settings are not right!!! and then the icons for my "tools", etc that were on the upper right of my toolbar have disappeared and I want them back...where did they go and I can't find any help on the help menus to solve any of these issues..it's aggravating.

You can enable your Known & Trustworthy Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.

The icon for Download Helper has disappeared and I can't seem to get it back. I see reference to it in the Firefox Tools dropdown. Where did it go? Thank you.

Video Download Helper is an add-on that I frequently use. It used to have an icon right next to the home icon beside the URL line. It is no longer there. It disappeared after Firefox prompted me to update.
I believe that the add-on is still available to use by Firefox because it has a drop-down embedded in the "tools" drop-down in Firefox.
I have attempted to reload Video Download Helper, but to no avail.

Fine tuning for White Balance has disappeared from adjustments

Went to edit photos this morning only to find I could not change White Balance. The label is there, but that is all. I did a hard reset, permissions repair, re-install latest update, restarted numerous times....still not there.

Help! Lightroom 3 Color Swatch for Adjustment Brush has Disappeared!

I selected the Adjustment Brush and then click on the color swatch icon. I remember changing the value to 0. Then the color swatch icon just disappeared.I've tried reseting everything in the adjustment brush settings but the color swatch icon is still gone. In addition to that, If I click on the Adjustment Brush to activate it and the click anywhere on the photo, the entire photo disappears. Has anyone had this problem? Revel for mac sidebar has disappeared

I'm not sure what I have done, but I have "lost" the sidebar when I use the Revel mac app!
This is the list of libraries and albums which normally displays to the left of the main panel of thumbnails, and, without it, I cannot find a way of displaying My Favoorites, or any of my albums.
Please can anyone tell me how to redisplay this?

Does simply restarting the app help? Asking just in case you did not try that yet.
Assuming that doesn't help, there is a process that will likely help. It's a matter of clearing the app cache. This won't harm photos that you've already imported and uploaded, but will cancel out progress of anything you're currently uploading now. In other words, let your current uploads (if any) finish before trying these steps.
Click the Finder menu Go > Go to Folder > and enter:
~/Library/Containers
In the Containers folder, delete the following folder and its contents (this is Revel's app cache):
~/Library/Containers/com.adobe.Carousel.mac
Then launch Revel and sign in again. Does this fix the layout of the app?
