Keynote audio does not play in powerpoint

I made a keynote presentation with audio, saved it as powerpoint, but the audio is not playing in powerpoint

Exporting to .ppt seems to produce an audio file in .mov format in a separate folder. Go figure that one!
I would think that the audio would need to be in MP3 format before a poor old WIndows machine could handle it.

You are right. But there detail. If Online audio will be downloaded to this user interaction. Depending on your animation will all be out of sync with the audio. For the timeline will run before. I do not know how to do but needed to put a stop to that timeline only run when the audio is downloaded. I had problems in IOS and Android with audio using adobe edge previous version before they even have audio support. Used Edgehero who answered my expectations very well. Only had this same problem but it was solved this way.

Audio does not play from MTS clips

So I imported footage shot with a Sony HXRNX70U (great camera by the way), and the video looks great and plays fine, but for some reason, premiere does not play the audio on the clips. I was albe to rip the sound and convert the audio files to WAV using another program, and then sync them up in premiere, but this is kinda time comusing, and I would perfer to use the uncompressed LPCM Audio. Does anyone know how to fix this? Hopefully Adobe will fix this bug soon, because its super annoying.

Didn't we have this issue raised a few time several months ago related to the NX5 ? I thought that a PPro version 5 update had fixed this.
As far as I can tell the hardware and the headers are fine. As I've mentioned before, it is simply big-endian PCM as per Blu-ray. At the programming level It's trivial easy to identify/play/decode it and should have been very easy for Adobe to fix.

HT5409 AVCHD audio does not play with the video clip

iPhoto does not import, or even see the clips, and when QuickTime played the clip off the card itself, no audio is present even though the inspector shows stereo.

Some devices don't appear in the regular import view of iPhoto. You can still use AVCHD video from these cameras by dragging and dropping or menu-driven imports.

HTML5 published content from Captivate 7 including slide audio does not play audio in DPS preview

I have added HTML 5 content to a DPS publication I am creating in Indesign CC. When I preview the content on my desktop I cannot hear the audio play when initiated. The content appears, but without audio. is this normal? I cannot publish to a device right now, and am just trying to figure out if I am doing something wrong.

I concur, but do not have the device with me today, and was wondering if this is a common discrepancy. Has anyone tested Captivate output with slide audio into DPS? Does it work?

1) Try a Hard Reset as follows.
Remove any devices connected to the notebook. Shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Re-insert the battery, plug in the AC Adapter and start the notebook - check if the speakers are now working.
2) Please First check if the speaker icon on the unit is not muted.
3) Go to device manager and uninstall the Sound driver and restart and unit will install the driver automatically.
4) Try doing System restore to the date when the unit was working fine.
5) Try to update the driver from hp.com website for Audio & Bios.

Trying to stream a QT video on the web but audio does not play

I've created an hour-long .mov exported out from FCP using QT conversion. I've saved the file to our sever but when you click the link on the web page the video plays great but there is no audio. When you go directly to the file on the server and open it, it plays just fine. Is this an export issue or a server-side issue?
G5 Mac OS X (10.3.9)

I am exporting out as a QuickTime Movie format with H.264 compression. I've selected prepare for internet streaming and chose Hinted Streaming. It asks if you want it Optimized for Server or Make it Self-Contained. I've actually done it both ways and I can't tell any difference. We are playing the clips through QuickTime Player. Our server is a Windows 2003 R2. I talked with our IT guy about this and he seems to think that it possibly has something to do with the way I have the bit rate set up. Honestly, I am just using the default rates because I have no idea what to set them at.

Help Please. Audio does not play back when moving by frame in timeline

Normally when I advance through the timeline frame by frame using the left and right arrow keys I can hear the audio. But it just stopped working. Any ideas?

ITunes player does not play songs since upgrading to 10.5.1; not fixed with 10.5.2 upgrade. What now?

After upgrading iTunes on my laptop to version 10.5.1, my player will NOT play any songs. My Library seems intact and no songs appear to be missing, but no song will play --not a song downloaded from iTunes Store, nor a song downloaded from a CD. I was hoping version 10.5.2 would fix this, but apparently not. Still not working. Songs do play on my iPod and on my iPhone and I can transfer songs from my laptop to my devices; I can also download Apps to my laptop through the iTunes Store, etc.--all other functions of iTunes seem to be okay, only the player is not working. (My laptop is an hp Probook with Intel i5 chip, Windows 7 Pro OS.)

Does it look like the song is playing at the top of iTunes? Can you see the timer moving?
Also, make sure the volume slider isn't all the way to the left (mute).

ITunes 11.1.5.5 on my Windows 7 PC does not play songs

After upgrading this version, the iTunes player bar graph does not move when I click the play arrow. Any ideas, please share.

I would be concerned too if my music didn't playback in iTunes. I found an article that specifically addresses issues with the music not playing and the playhead not progressing in iTunes. I recommend following the steps in the article below:

TS1718 Movie audio does not sync with movie

Hi,
The movies I have bought through iTunes store does not work properly. I bought two last week and when trying to play them back over the weekend, the audio is not sync'd with the movie playback. I have a Winodws 8 laptop and enough space for the films to be played. The software is all up to date and can therefore see no problem as to why this should not be working. Does anybody know of any way to resolve this to allow me to watch the films?

Macbook Pro does not play audio part of video

Hi,
I have a Macbook Pro (early 2013 with OS 10.10.1).
A colleague sent me a video file, which was originally recorded in MTS format. The sound portion of it does not play on my machine, although it generally can handle MTS. I have a colleague with a Windows PC, for him the audio plays ok. I have another colleague with an older MBP, for him the audio also plays ok. But then I have two more colleagues with a newer MBP like me, and for none of us the audio plays at all. The strange thing is that I can open the file in various editors such as Premiere, Audition, or Logic Pro, and they would all show the waveform of the audio, even the VU meters react normally, but there still is no audible sound.
On the machines that play the sound, we have tried converting the video and exporting the audio portion into various other formats, but with the very same result. None of them play sound for me. This is extremely weird and we have no answer what could be the problem.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

thanks for the reply.
As I said, we had tried several editors and players, as well as all kinds of formats, using all kinds of converters, but so far to no avail.
The AAC codec is a common codec for the Mac, so there should be no need to convert it. I have videos with that codec that play ok. It already turned out that converting the video file to other formats does not make any difference.

Thanks for the reply. I tried playing with detaching the audio in iMovie, but with 20+ hours of video to correct, it would take too long. After 28 hours, Corel/Roxio tech support replied that it is a known bitrate mismatch problem and they have no real fix. I strongly suggest not to buy this product.

The default settings mostly likely use an audio sample rate of 32k. This doesn't work probably in FCP. You're probably better off capturing the tape in iMovie.
