Keynote doesn't show highlighted text when played.

I have highlighted text fragments on several slides. The highlight behind those text fragments looks fine when in design mode, but does not show in Play mode. These text objects are layered in front of other graphic objects. Does anyone else have this issue?

I thinks I figured this out. Highlights are treated like comments and are annotations attached to text rather than first-class objects n their own right. They are similar to PDF annotations.

What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?

Apple mail doesn't show mail content when selected?

I have done nothing new or strange with this application but since a few days ago I couldn't see mail content when I selected the emails.
I can see the new emails It doesn't show their content when I select them. It simply says no message selected.
Also when I double click to open the mail on a new page the application crashes. Any ideas? This is so frustrating!
Btw, I'm using a Macbook Pro.

Quit Mail. Force quit if necessary.
Back up all data. That means you know you can restore the Mail database, no matter what happens.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V, then press return.
A folder window will open. Inside it there should be files with names as follows:
          Envelope Index
          ExternalUpdates.storedata
Move those files to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Other files in the folder may have longer names that begin as above. Move those files, if any, to the Trash.
Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is damaged and that Mail has to quit. Click OK. Typically, the process takes a few minutes, but it may take hours if you have gigantic mailboxes. In that case, you may be able to speed things up by temporarily adding your home folder to the Privacy list in the Spotlight preference pane. Remove it when Mail has finished importing.
Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the files you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, post your results.

Adobe Reader 9 highlights text when scrolling in terminal server

Running a terminal server with WIndow 2003. Have Adobe 9 Reader installed. When a pdf is opened, it will look correct. However, when one uses the scroll bar on the right to see more of the document, text can be highlighted and change colors constantly when scrolling.
Test it outside of terminal server and it works fine. This issue did not happen with other versions of Reader. I have attached two samples one clean and one highlighted.

Okay. Here is what I found. These settings are changed\saved under the User settings in the registry. Here is the key the changes are made to:
HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Reader\9.0\Originals
When "NONE" is selected from Adobe Reader - Edit - Preferences - Page Display - Rendering, three DWORD values are added to the above mentioned registry key. These are:
Value Name - Value Data
*bAntialiasText - 0
benableDDR - 0
iAntialiasThreshold - 12*
I have added these lines to a login script that adds the necessary DWORD values to default the "Rendering" to NONE.

Why doesn't apple tv appear when playing video in safari?

Hi Guys:
     I just bought an apple tv. I am able to use the mirroring function with no problem, and I can see the apple tv in the "Airplay" menu.
     But When i play a video in safari(mirroring turned off), I can not see my apple TV in the "AirPlay" menu.
      So my question is : why doesn't apple tv appear when playing video in safari?
Does the same thing happen to you guys??
btw, I just dont want to mirroring when play a video in safari, that's why i'm asking this question

Experiencing the same issue. Everything used to just work. I'm up to date on *everything* and it's all apple devices (airport extreme, appletv, 2 macbook pro lion, iphone4s, ipad).
My gut says it's the AppleTV since it happens from both laptops that have itunes.
Let me know if you find a fix.

Show explanation text when cursor is set into InputField

Hi all,
I have a WDA component with a view that uses UI-elements Label and InputField.
The InputField has a explanation text. This explanation text is shown only if I´m moving the mouse pointer over the label (label is underlined). Is there a possibility to show the explanation when cursor is set into the input field?
We´re using SAP NetWeaver 7.0 with EHP 1 and SP 08.
Any help would be appreciated.

Just put the explanation text into tooltip propery of InputField. It will show the text when the cursor is moved over it.

When I attach USB flashdrive to my new Mac Air no icon appears. I just finished downloading pictures off of old mac and that one worked as expected.The new computer doesn't show anything but when I pull USB out pompts message improper eject. Any ideas?

Open Finder preferences, click on the General icon in the toolbar. Check the boxes for what you want displayed on the Desktop. Click on the Sidebar icon in the toolbar and do the same for what you want displayed in the sidebar.

Restart all devices and the router to see if it helps. May or may not.
If you Purchased in iTunes on the laptop ensure you are playing back on AppleTV via the Computers icon not under the main TV Shows icon which will reload from the web.
I would move the laptop away from the TV in case it's causing interference to teh wifi though clearly an AppleTv might have the same issue but is designed to sit next to the TV.
If you were playing via Computers and it's still slow you could connect an ethernet cable between AppleTv and laptop, keep wifi on the laptop for internet via the router, and enable intrenet sharing over ethernet in System Preferences > Sharing so AppleTV can do an internet authorisation. Hopefully restarting iTunes/router will just do the trick though.
Do you have any non-Apple security software eg NetBarrier, if so try disabling to see if it was detecting AppleTV as an intrusion threat due to multiple connection attempts.

A Couple ddays ago I noticed my phone started acting wierd like the white screen with the apple picture on it popped up when I was on the phone.. All my contact names were deleted, and hours later the names popped up again. Not today I noticed something that's really ******* me off!!!!! (Lol) when I check to have battery percentage on (it's green showing its on) but it doesn't show at the top, and when I back out of the setting and go back the battery percentage is off again! Now with my text tingtone I try to change it back to how I used to have it and it just doesn't let me! I click a certain sound and back out of the settings and it's back to the defauLt !!!!! The weird part is my phone randomly turned off by its self and when it came back on , I checked my photos and about 20 photos that I deleted months ago were mysteriously added back onto My phone! Having your device malfunction can certainly be frustrating. After reviewing your post, it sounds as though your device is experiencing multiple issues. I have located an article that can help with software issues. Have you attempted to restore the device to factory settings without restoring from a backup? Test the issue on a new installation, and make sure that it works. Then use the same article to restore from your backup to either verify it still works, or isolate the issue to the backup itself.

ICal doesn't show all text for the activity

When I updated to iCal version 8.0 i noticed that when I am in week-view, iCal doesn't show all the text for an activity, although there is plenty of room. For example I have a lecture from 9 am - 4 pm and in the activity I put down all the things I have to do, but it only shows the first line for my activity. I need to drag the box or double click on it to see all the text. Can I change this?

Sometimes making the Calendar window bigger, or using full screen allows additional text to be displayed.
View>"Make Text Smaller" is also an option for those with Eagle Eyes.

Editable .pdf not showing edited text when uploaded to printer

I created a form for company business cards so that employees could fill in their own info. Everyone has Reader, so i figured it would work. When I uploaded the filled-in form to various printing sites (I tried several), the text was gone. I feel like there's a simple solution, I just don't know what it is.

I have run into this with something I am doing. Vistaprint doesn't show the preview with the form data, nor does my iPad. But Outlook (as a preview), Adobe Reader/Acrobat, and Staples Canada Print & Copy all DO show the preview with the form data.
I am curious to see if Vistaprint would actually print with the form data or not, but instead I just switched to Staples for this need. For those needing Vista, I suggested a program like CuteFTP Writer which I have used in previous jobs for those without the full Adobe suite.

I have created EO and VO which is based on that EO.
By using Vo i have designed .jspx page ,on that page i have taken adf form which is based on that VO.
My problem is when database table is blank (i.e zero row) then input text on page not displayed.
I want to show blank input text when such condition occurs.

Hi,
You can set ExecuteWithParams as default activity in the task flow then method activity to return total no of rows passing to Router activity if your method has value 0 then call Create insert operation else do directly to page.
Following idea could be your task flow
Execute With param (default) > SetCurrentRowWithKey > GetTotalNoOfRows (VOImpl Method)

Router
1. If pageFlowScope outcome is 0 then call CreateInsert > MyPage
2. if pageFlowScope outcome > 0 then MyPage

Scrollbar doesn't show all text in RichEditableText component ...

The program is loading text from an external XML-file into a RichEditableText component.
However, scrolling an scrollbar does not show all the available text.
To me, it looks like the scrollbar is not updated to adopt itself to the new text.
Does someone has any pointers, how to fix this, because I have no clue where to look?

One (practical) solution I came up myself, is adopting the height of the RichEditableText to the length of the data:
<s:RichEditableText id="textContent   ... height="{data.length}"      .... />
A practical height value turns out to be {data.length/2}, indicating that 50% of the text is html-tags and whitespaces (??)
Does someone knows or could point to a more elegant solution?
Note: the division "/2" worrows me, since the customer is proving the text.

The document Address doesn't show the block when country isn't USA

i have a little problem, when I create a new document for a customer which ship to address's country is different from USA, the document Address doesn't show the block. i checked the bp address in the bp master data and the block is written, also when i click on the ... button near the ship or bill to address the block has a value !! but when i go back to the document, there is an empty space where the block has to be in the document address.
is there any configuration to solve this problem

The configuration is under Admin-Setup-BP-Address Format. Each country has a built-in format for address initially.
