Keynote is showing as paid in App Store for iPad air

I logged in to my iPad air with a new Apple ID. Now keynote pages etc are showing as paid apps instead of free. Please let me know how to download them for free. The device was activated in dec 2014 hence these apps should be free.

Pages&Keynote&Number shows as Free in App Store but cannot be downloaded?

Signing in and out App Store doesn't help. Changing account region doesn't help. When I click on the Purchased tab, these 3 apps are there listed as free but nothing happened when i click on it. Now i even cannot purchase these apps normally.

Again, you are confusing the iWork and iLife apps. iWork apps are not pre installed and do not present to accept.

I've tried to download a usa only application in app store, the system asked me if i wanted to switch my country to usa i've said yes, the program did not download and on top i can no longer update existing apps and i'm getting a: Your account is not valid to use in usa store, you must switch to canadian store before purchasing....

"Insufficient Space" error preventing app download from App Store for MacBook Air 2013

Hi,
I am using a MacBook Air 2013 model with OS 10.9.4 (Mavericks). It has a 120 GB HD with about 17 GB of free space.
I am unable to download from the Mac App Store as I get an 'insufficient space available" error whenever I try to purchase a larger App (> 2 GB).
After looking through the forums I can confirm the following:
- Both the Finder and "About This Mac" report that 16.5 GB of space is available.
- I have toggled Time Machine and restarted my computer with it "On" and "Off".
- The application description does not mention needing more space for installation (specifically I am now trying to download BioShock 2 which needs about 9 GB).
I tried to contact Apple Support for the App Store and they informed me it was a hardware issue. I do not have Apple Care and do not think this is a hardware issue so would rather not pay the 20$ for support.

If you're trying to add a large amount of data all at once, and you get an alert of insufficient space, then from the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences... ▹ Time Machine
If the padlock icon is closed, click it to unlock the settings and authenticate. Turn Time Machine OFF, then back ON and close the preference pane. Restart the computer. Test.

Read this whole message before doing anything.
Back up all data.
Quit the App Store application if it’s running.
Step 1
Hold down the option key and select
Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Delete the following items from the Library folder (some may not exist):
Caches/com.apple.appstore
Leave the Library folder open. Try the App Store again. If it works now, stop here. Close the Library folder.
Step 2
If you still have problems, quit again. Go back to the Finder and move the following item from the open Library folder to the Desktop:
Cookies/com.apple.appstore.plist
Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist
Test. If the App Store now works, delete the files you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, quit again. Put back the files you moved, overwriting the newer ones that may have been created in their place, and continue.
Step 3
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below to select it:
test -d $TMPDIR../C/com.apple.appstore && rm -r $_
Drag or copy and paste the selected line — do not type it — into the Terminal window. You should get a new line ending in a dollar sign ("$"). Quit Terminal.
Test. If the issue is still not resolved, post again.

Is there a "passbook" app available for Ipad Air ?

I' trying to organize a trip and really like the passbook feature on my Iphone. Can't find it on my new Ipad Air, nor can I find a Passbook app in the app store. thanks

It is not a feature for the iPad. It is on the phone and the iPod Touch and perhaps that's because of the smaller size of those two devices which might make them better suited for this purpose than something as large as an iPad. Just my opinion .....

Thanks, I have no way to see my purchased apps. The only way would be with iTunes on my PC.
I presume ios 6.0.1 will fix this along with many other bugs.
This is a pity and I am amazed this was not tested along the way.

The apple ID is showing incorrectly in the app store. I've signed out and then signed back in with the correct email but it continues to show incorrectly.

If you're trying to update an application, you need to delete and redownload it, which may require repurchasing a paid one.

I am trying to download an app for my ipod touch, but its not showing up in the app store. Its the icess app for controlling a bluetooth helicopter

I recently got my daughter an iCess RC helicopter. It works via bluetooth and can be used with Apple and Android devices. She has a ipod touch, but when trying to do a search for "iCess" in the app store, nothing comes up. It shows up on my PC in the itunes store, but how do I get it on the ipod touch or its apps store?
Also having the same problem when trying to locate the app with my iPad and its app store. I got it installed on one of my android devices via the Google Play store so I know its there & works. Any ideas or suggestion on what is going on here with the iPod and iPad app stores?

Thanks for your advice, I went to the apple shop today for a face to face meeting with a tech and he checked everything and could not figure out why I was having this problem so we decided to give up on that account and create a whole new one for me using a different email address.
Now I can download apps on both my iPhone and ipad2.

OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 not showing up in the app store

Hello,
Going on day 2 now, the 10.10.1 update has not shown up in the app store for me yet. The only thing different or perhaps non-standard on this Mac is that OS X Yosemite was installed from the internet recovery option on a fresh formatting of the hard drive, it's using FileVault 2, and the standard user account is not admin.
The 10.10.1 update does not show up in either the admin or user account app stores. Any suggestions would be great.

Have you tried going to the App Store and finding the update there? Or getting the updater from the Apple Downloads site: OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 Update

I updated via my iPhone 4s. The apps were on my iPhone 4s. That's all the information that I have. The update to ios7 seems to have gone smoothly - everything else is working, phone texting, email, internet, etc. But all of the apps I had installed over the past year are no longer showing up as shortcuts. No facebook, no twitter, no espn, etc. They are all still listed in my app store as purchased, but the shortcuts and my folders are gone. Thanks.
