Keynote presentation does not automatically play upon open when called from another keynote presentation

I have a master keynote presentation that hyperlinks to other keynote presentations. The called keynote presentations open, but do not automatically play even though I have marked them to automatically play upon open. What am I doing incorrectly?

Automatically Play on open, has the same function as pressing the play button in the tool bar.
Once the presentation is playing, it will move to the next slide depending on
how you have set the options in:
Inspector > Document > Presentation
the choices to advance to the next slide are:
normal           - requires a keyboard press or a muse click to advance
Hyperlink       - requires the mouse to click on an object with a hyperlink
Recorded      - plays back using the recorded narration sound track
Self-playing   - will advance according to the options in the delay times set in
Inspector > Document > Presentation

Screen does not seem to reflect changes when called from main program.....

Hi all,
here's an issue that i've been trying to solve for a few days now,
i had created a screen in the screen painter, inside which i've included a table control (screen number 100: ).
i, then created a second screen pointing to the same program as screen 100 and assigned screen number 200 to it. so both scrn 100 and scrn 200 has got table controls and the validations occur in modules from the same program.
the issue i face is that, while any changes i make in screen 100 works fine when i call screen 100 from the main program; it does not work when i try to modify the table control in screen 200. for example, if i were to add a new column, it messes up the allignment of the other columns in screen 200, i can't seem to assign fixed colums, etc....
has anyone come across similar issues? if so how can i solve it? could it be an error with the SAP GUI?
any response will be appreciated. points will be rewarded as well... if that's how things work here.

Hi David,
The description of the problem is not so clear.
Let me know where I'm wrong, you have 2 screens and 2 different tablecontrols ? When you do any changes from the sapgui to the screen 100 there is no problem. But when you do that to the screen 200 is messes up ?
My logic with table controls
if you want 2 screens to share the same control then add the control to a subscreen
when you want to have 2 screens with 2 differents controls :
in main program
CONTROLS : tc_100 type TABLEVIEW USING SCREEN 100.
CONTROLS : tc_200 type TABLEVIEW USING SCREEN 200.
In screen 100 / 200 assure the name of the controls are tc_100 / tc_200....
Using this method I never have any problem....

Bridge Does Not Automatically Bring Up Photoshop When the Photo is Double-Clicked

I have just purchased CS4 with Bridge for my new MacIntosh. In Bridge for the PC, when I double click a photo it automatically brings up Photoshop. On the Mac version, it gives me an error message saying that part of the application is not loaded. I completely uninstalled the program, and reloaded the application and still get the same message. So in Bridge on the Mac, to get around this, I right click the picture and go to "Open With" and there are two entries: "Open with CS4 (default)" and "Open with CS4." This works if I pick either option. My Windows version only has "Open with CS4 (default)" as the option.
I called Adobe support (in India?) with no solution.
I really like the double click option rather that using the pop-out menu choice. What is wrong with the Mac install, and how can I fix this issue?

Since upgrading Iphone to iOS 5.1.1 it does not automatically divert to my wi-fi internet when wifi is available in my home. It has been draining my mobile data I now have very high bills from my mobile carrier for high data usage. I can only manually change settings in the Network and turn cellular data on and off everytime I get home and leave the home. This is very frustrating as it wasn't a problem until the upgrade. I have spoken to a few people that this has happened to. Has anyone found this problem and does anyone have other solutions?

Does not automatically switch to space when app is selected

In reality this is not a new issue been pretty much always this way
Running 10.10.3 on Min with 16 g RAM
They article OS X Yosemite: Work in multiple spaces say that once i configure mission control when I select an App I will be automatically switched to the space/desktop (They can't seem to keep their terminology consistent ) which i have assigned that app to (yes the options are set for that app to open in specified desktop and monitor) Ok when I select that or any assigned app The app comes up in the upper tool bar but the desktop does not change . I must manually switch the desktop

IPAD3 does not automatically update after deleting a contact from Outlook 2010 over ICloud

I've noticed that when deleting a contact on my IPAD 3, it automatically deletes the contact on my PC (Outlook 2010 set up for ICloud). However it doesn't work or update the other way around.
I can edit an existing contact on Outlook, or add a new contact on Outlook, and that always updates on the IPAD3.. But it doesn't update on the IPAD when deleting from Outlook which is strange.
If I delete all the contacts on the IPAD and then re-sync once again to ICloud, then it is as it should be and any previously deleted PC contacts, do not show on the IPAD.
Any thoughts as to what might be happening?

Please remove the codeline $List.Update();, then run your code again, it works for me.
You may need to firstly delete the synced contacts list within Outlook to remove those undeleted accounts, then re-connect the SharePoint contacts list to outlook, then run your modified Powershell code.

Report does not show the main section while calling from forms 6i

I am running report from report from forms 6i but is does not show the data in main section, where as the data in the header section is ok.
But when i run the same report independantly from report builder it show the both header and main section with relevent data.

can you tell me more about this, you might check if you are using different users when you call this report or if the user has all privileges to see all tables in this report

Azure Dedicated Role Cache does not fire notification to client when call DataCache.Clear method

I'm using Azure Dedicated Role cache and Enabled the local cache and notification.

but when I call DataCache.Clear method in one client, the notification does not send to all clients, the client's local cached content still been used.
is this a bug of Azure SDK 2.5?

I assume that you have correctly configured and enabled Cache notifications, instead of using the DataCache's clear method - have you tried clearing all regions in your cache because I am not sure if DataCache.Clear triggers the cache notification or not.
so your code should look something like this

Reader 11.0.2 does not automatically launch upon download of .pdf file

My OS is Windows 7, my browser is Firefox 19.0.2. It used to be that when I downloaded a .pdf file, Adobe Reader would launch automatically and display the text, ready to read. Now the Reader no longer launches automatically; I have to go to the Tools > Downloads list and double-click on the desired file before the Reader will open it. I can't recall if this problem started when I upgraded the Reader to 11.0.2. I've uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled and rebooted again - no luck. Can anyone advise? Thanks.

You can control how Firefox handles each type of file by going into Firefox > Preferences > Applications.
Please find Portable Document Format from the list and select Adobe Reader as an application.

Time Machine does not automatically delete old backups when drive is full

I back up to a 1TB external drive with TM. It will not delete old back-ups and instead tells me that the drive is full. I thought TM was supposed to manage all of this on its own.

It will, if it can. But it will never delete your last remaining backup.
See #C4 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting, probably the pink box there.
Basically, if Time Machine has to do a full or very large backup, and your Time Machine drive isn't well over twice the size of the data it's backing up, there won't be room for the last backup, plus the new one, plus some workspace.

TOC in PDF does not include Link OBJR tags when exported from InDesign

I'm using InDesign CS6 to export a book file to a tagged PDF. When I run the accessibility checker in Acrobat 9, I get errors about items not being contained in the Structure tree. These missing items are links for the TOC and the Index page numbers. When I look at the tags, the Link OBJR tag is missing for these elements. I can't possibly manually add them all in. Other links e.g. cross-references, hyperlinks, automatically include these Link OBJR tags when exported. Why does the TOC and Index not do so?
I've asked this question in the InDesign Forum and no one seems to know. If I don't put these tags in, what does that mean for accessibility of the document?

Glad you found something that worked. For the future ... I found that if you create the PDF from BOOK and following these steps you can get the hyperlinks to automatically tag. This will work if you are getting editable hyperlink boxes for the TOC -- I find that it is creating these (although I could swear it didn't earlier). Anyway:
1. Select all chapters in the book and create PDF with hyperlinks and bookmarks. Save as TEST.PDF
2. Open the PDF and in the Pages Panel extract the page or pages containing the the TOC from the PDF. Save this as TOCtest.pdf
3. Delete the Tags from the TOCtest.pdf file -- in the Tags Panel, select the Root tag, right click and select delete
4. Select Add Tags to Document to this same file.
5. Examine the tags to see if all the OBJLINKs are tagged. Repeat steps 3 and 4 again (sometimes it doesn't autotag correctly the first time). You may have to manually correct some of the structure -- headings and/or artifacts on these pages.
6. Save again.
7. Go back to the main document TEST.PDF -- delete the TOC page or pages from that document (assuming you didn't when you extracted.)
8. On the pages panel, Insert from file and choose TOCtest.pdf -- insert before the first page.
9. This will bring in the newly tagged TOC and it's tags HOWEVER the tags will be out of order in the tags panel. They will be at the bottom and you will need to find them and MOVE them where they should be.
Still more effort than you should have to but it worked for me.
Not sure how to record a bug with Adobe, but my testing in CS5 shows that this is NOT a new problem. CS5.5 did the same thing for me.

Firefox will not open from the start menu or the taskbar, but WILL open when called from Windows Live Messenger

This started a couple weeks ago, but doesn't seem to coincide with any other installations or reconfigurations, so I'm having trouble getting at the root cause.
The first time I run Firefox after installing, it runs fine (complete with a full list of add-ons.) If I then close FF and try to start it from the task bar or start menu, nothing happens. I've tried starting in safe mode (shift+FF), but get the same result. I've restored FF to all the default settings, disabled all my plugins and add ons, but no change.
The really odd part is that if I click the 'Inbox' link in my Windows Live Messenger, FF opens perfectly. This made me think that it was my homepage causing the issue, but A: I can go to that page without problems once FF has started from WLM, and B: even if I use the FF default homepage or google.com, I get the same problem. Furthermore, if I restart FF from within FF (like after I disable/enable an add-on), it will also start properly.
No crash report is generated by FF when it fails to load, but Windows catches the problem in it's event log. I've pasted the contents of that record at the bottom in the hopes that someone can take a stab at what's wrong.
Finally, I've already run through the online crash help, but everything is either not related (since FF will start if called indirectly) or has already been prevented (absolutely no add-ons are running at the moment.)

I have exactly the same issue. After FF upgraded on its own to version 5, it won't open from start menu, taskbar, desktop icon, or even by pressing firefox.exe in program files directory. It does so by pressing a link at msn messenger, inside Outlook etc.
Disabling all addons, didn't help. Moreover, I can't start FF in safe mode or start profile manager (Start > Run> firefox.exe -ProfileManager).

Closing an application that does not show up as open

I downloaded an application off the internet and it is messing with my computer. I tried all the ways to delete but it wont because the error message says that it is still open. however, I cannot close it using the conventional methods including turning off the computer. it does not show up as open when I use the force quit menu so it will not let me force quit it. ultimately, I want to delete this intrusive application.

Name of app?
Did it come w/a Read Me file?
Did it come w/an uninstaller? If so, use it. If not, go the app manufacturer website for uninstalling instructions.
Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items. You can disable from there. Also, there is a mapping location of where the file is.

Wicd does not automatically connect to eth0

Wicd works fine using my wireless network. It does not automatically connect to eth0 when I plug in a cable, but I can connect to it by pressing connect manually.
I already have ethtool installed (do I need to run ethtool as a daemon???)

Thanks for your answers, 1) no I'm not connected to wireless, and 2) eth0 is disabled.
I found out it works fine if I connect eth0 manually and then I can remove and plugin the cable all I want and it automatically connects. This is because dhcpcd is already running for eth0 so maybe I should run dhcpcd eth0 in a boot script (although I think wicd should do this).

Subtemplate footer is not coming when calling from the main template

Hi All,
The footer from the subtemplate is not coming in the output when calling from the main template. Does anybody worked on the subtemplate?
If the same footer is put in the main template, it is displaying.
Please respond as this is a critical issue for us.
