Keynote presentation on iPad does not work

I got my iPad and I have bought the keynote app....but when I upload an keynote presentation on to the iPad and I open it via the keynote app I get a list with 7 incompatible things which do not work on the iPad....I have paid for the app and it does not work....I do not understand.

I would prefer to use my keynote presentation as I have created it.
That is not always possible -- hence the note from Apple.

The audio on my keynote presentations on iPad does not work

The audio on my keynote slides using my iPad now do not work. (I used the same presentation before with no problems--now no audio). No transitions have been changed, and all slides have been checked in Inspector. All audio is turned all the way up. All other iPad audio--music, videos, etc. work fine. After the Apple logo appears, what happens then? Can you hear any sounds or if you tap on the screen, does it seem like apps can open or are you just seeing a black screen? You might have a hardware problem, but you can try restoring the software and see what happens.
Read this in its entirety before you do anything. Make sure you read the sections at the end about using recovery mode.

Hold down the Home and Sleep buttons until a white Apple Logo appears on your screen. Make sure it is charged up as well.

Try a hard reset and go from there. You might try a manual install (using DFU Mode), as outlined in the link below.

ICloud on my iPad does not work in iOS 8

Hi all,
I have a problem with iCloud after upgrade to iOS 8 on my iPad. I have updated from IOS 7 to 8 without turning on the iCloud Drive feature (because of the Mavericks on my Macbook Pro in that time).
Applications like “Pages”, “Numbers”, “MindNode Pro” or “Textastic” (and it seems that all applications using documents in iCloud) stopped working. For example MindNode Pro tells me that "iCloud is not configured on my device”.
I have tried turning off/on iCloud, resetting the device and the problem is still there - I am not able to access my iCloud documents on my iPad (the Mac OS X versions of the apps works fine). I have upgraded to Yosemite, so I have also turned on the iCloud drive hoping that it will solve the problem… it does not :-(
Maybe there is some problem with my account, because the Family sharing behaves strange (it created all the calendars, memos, photo streams, etc. twice), and there is a big issue with ENABLING the iCloud DRIVE - this process NEVER ENDS — When I turn the iCloud Drive “on” on my iPad the window with “Turning On iCloud Drive…”. Even after few hour of waiting, this window does not disappear. I can close the preferences app and continue to work with other apps, but the problem with documents in iCloud remains.I have tried hard-resetting my iPad, turning off/on my iPad, disconnect it from my apple id a login again, reinstalling the applications and nothing helps. I am currently running the latest iOS version.
Another strange thing (maybe related to this problem) is, that in Yosemite I cannot se all the folders in my iCloud drive, here is an example from my Finder:
Here from MindNode Pro (Mac OS X version) - notice that it is able to open its folder, which is not listed in the iCloud (see above):
This is what I can see through the icloud.com website (there are items which are not listed in the Mac OS X):
So, I think that my iCloud is probably in some inconsistent state...
I am not able to find any Apple support email - I have tried [email protected], but it does not work (email returned with message "this email address aren’t monitored”).

When I try to initiate or receive a call via Sony MDR-EX100iP headphones/mic (that worked perfectly with iOS 6 and iOS 7), on iPhone 4S running iOS 8, I hear crackling static and the person on the other end of the line can't hear me.
I suppose that because I can make a hands-free call using the Apple headphones/mic, Apple will tell me that there's not an issue. However, the Sony MDR-EX100iP headphones/mic worked much better for me than the Apple headphones/mic, so I'm in a bit of a quandry...
BTW - It's really lame that you can't delete or even edit a posting once you submit it...

IPad does not work.

One-year-old mini iPad is Fried, it will not start.
I am very upset and I'm about to give up on Apple products -I have several products and never had trouble with any of them until now.
I tried technicians in the store and technicians on the phone and cannot restore or plug-in, does not work.
Apple wants $220 to get it fixed. For that price I might as well buy new one, but at this point I will buy a different brand.
Very disappointed.

What do you mean it is fried? In what way? Have you tried a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears?

Ipad does not work when you tap "continue" or "next"

the "continue" buttons do not work. When I sign in for instance to my bank and put in my username and then it says "continue" that button does not work. I also happens on buttons that say "next". Any one know if this is a flaw?

Please be wary of vacuuming the speakers, this can lead to damage of the speaker due to the force/static this can generate. Normal heat generated by usage should be enough to dry out the speaker in a short period fo time.

ITunes video sync mac to ipad does not work

Question of my managing director:
here I have a mac (lion) and an iPad3 (64 GB). In iTunes he has bought a movie "Battleship" HD-version and he wants to synchronize it with his iPad3.
It is correctly marked in iTunes for sync, there is enough free space left on the iPad and the sync works well without any fault. But the final result is,
that this video does not appear in "Videos" on the iPad.
On the other hand, the sync of music videos works fine, but not with movies he bought in iTunes.
Both, mac and ipad have the same iTunes account. There are no other restrictions set on the iPad.
What can I do? Thanks in advance for your support

Check to be sure you have set the correct default calendar on your phone. Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>tap Default Calendar (in the Calendar section near the bottom). You probably don't want to choose "Calendar" under On My iPhone.

Wlan synch for iPad does not work

Has anybody any idea how to solve my problem:
WLAN synch is actitived for both my iPhone and my iPad, it is activated via iTunes and appears to be switched on on both devices. When I open iTunes (latest version of course) it does immediately recongize te iPhone and starts to synch, it does not anymore recognize the iPad.
I have tried many things, made sure the the same itunes account (of my two) is activated, I have checked that the device is active (i.e. not locked), checked and compared settings ... no idea where the problem my may be.
When I then attach the iPad to the MBP then it works, I can even disconnect the cable and synch continues.
When I shut down the MBP, the next time I have the same problem again ...
ITunes even synchs with my iPhone, when it is NOZ connected to power, but it does not want to recongize the iPad.
And going to the settings on the iPad doesn't help either: when I go to WLAN synch I can press "synch now", then it starts to search my MBP but it seems not to find it and then stops after some time.
Any help is appreciated.

Are you putting the head set into discovery mode before you try pairing it to the iPad?

My first generation Ipad does not work with Keynote.

The program appears to run normally, but it won't project. My colleague's identical ipad works with our projector, and my cable works on his ipad. What is wrong?

Here are some things to try:
- Restart the iPad
- Remove and reinstall Keynote
- Restore the OS on the iPad
One of those might fix the problem.

I worked for a company that closed down and inherited an ipad 2 linked to Vodafone uk as the carrier but no account details. So I factory reset, downloaded the ios7and added EE sim and Ipad does not work. what can I do? Voda/EE/Apple say NO SOLUTION?

I inherited an Ipad 2 from a company that I had worked for in the UK but had closed down.
It was an IPAD2 locked to the Vodafone UK network by a Vodafone SIM Card.
No account details were or are available for the original account.
So I removed the Vodafone SIM Card and then factory reset wirelessly using my wireless at home.
I updated the system to IOS 7.0.2.
I was then sold under a contract from EE another UK carrier a SIM card for the Ipad and when inserted the Ipad says Sim not applicable.
I checked with Vodafone and EE shop and they said they cant unlock it, I checked with Apple who said the same!
So I have an IPad I can use wirelessly at home, a sim card from EE which is an u
locked Vodafone carrier mode and all 3 multinational companies say they cannot unlock it from Vodafone to enable me to use the EE sim.
What can I do to sort this mess out? Please help!

That's what the moderator in several older threads in Vodaphone's forum said was all that is necessary. Carriers often won't unlock for anyone but the original account holder, so if you don't have the details of the company's account, that might be the barrier in which case there will not be any way to get the iPad officially unlocked.

Printing from iphone/ipad does not work after ios5 upgrade

have a Brother HL-2140 that would print and show up as the "printer" when printing from an iPhone/iPad thru an Airport Extreme. Everything worked fine till upgrading to ios5 ... now the option for printing is replaced with an "no airprint printer found" ... meanwhile I can still print through the network wirelessly through multiple MacBook Pros and MacBooks around the house. I have re-installed the driver from the Bother website ... I have the Printer Sharing on ... the network allows wireless printing from laptops ... just NOT from iPhones and iPads.

Today's iOS 6.1 update fixed the printer problem.

HI I have an iPad 4th generation when I restart it it gets the grey or blackscreen and takes a few minutes then goes to login screen please fix it had this problem since iOS 8. I did not have this problem in iOS 7.

I resolve the problem with several actions:
- remove iTunes 11.4
- install 11.3
- remove all music from ipad and iphone.
- on iTunes, declic the synchronization of music and synchomize the ipad with itunes.
- select music and synmchronize ; it finally worked.
