Keynote trial won't open!

Hi
Can anyone please help? I'm trying to open the trial Keynote 3.0.2 that came with my 10.4 software, but it keeps unexpectedly quitting upon launch.
Has anyone else come across/solved this?

right click the Keynote file and select Get Info
in the; open with; dropdown menu, select Keynote 6.2
click the change all button

Latest Keynote update won't open file. Says I need Keynote update! Why?

I'm working on an urgent Keynote presentation for work (yes, on Sat night!) from my boss's MacBook at home ... or, rather, I'm trying to. Keynote just won't open the Keynote file I created yesterday on a different MacBook (reading from USB key). It says I need the newer version of Keynote in order to open this file. I checked ... the version installed was the latest version, but just for good measure, I've just re-installed the update from the Apple site (with boss's permission, lol). No joy ... still returning the same error message. Insists the file version is newer than the version of Keynote I'm running.
Help, anyone?

You are alternating between the two versions of Pages:
Pages 5 and Pages '09.
Pages '09 can not open Pages 5, and Pages 5 alters/damages Pages '09 files.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09 is in your Applications/iWork folder.

Keynote presentations won't open on my computer.

Keynote '09 presentations won't open on my computer. Over the past few days I was prompted several times to update my keynote app and so I did. Now I can't open any presentations and it tells me to download a newer version. When I get to the mac app store to do so there is no update. Nor my app store does it show any recent updates for keynote or pages, which also prompted me to update over the past two days. Please help me open my keynote presentations!

I would try:
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

InDesign Mac Trial Won't Open

Hi, I was attempting a Mac trial of InDesign, but it won't open without crashing. I deleted and re-downloaded and installed, but it still won't open. Just crashes after attempting to open. Can you help me?

We're seeing quite a few reports that the installer is failing to set the permissions correctly on the preference folders. Log in with a new user on the Mac and see if ID will launch.

Keynote Shows Won't Open

Show won't open without downloading latest version, but App Store says "Installed". Search within App Store shows Keynote Productivity "Installed".

InDesign 2014 free trial won't open

I downloaded the InDesign free trial. Now when I go back to open it, it won't open and has a pop-up box saying "InDesign 2014 has stopped working". What do I do?

A3D trial won't open

Hello all. I downloaded the trial version and it appeared to completely install and place the icons on the desktop screen. But the program won't open when I click to start. The hourglass appears when I click but stops after several seconds and nothing happens after that. There's plenty of memory available on my C drive (15 more gig's) and 512 meg of RAM. I had previously run the trial of Adobe Acrobat 7 Pro-----but that and my version 5 were uninstalled prior to downloading the A3D trial. Could my previous trial on 7 Pro be blocking me out of this new trial??? I have run virus scans, disk cleanup, defrag and restarts. Computer is a fairly new Sony VGN-A190 laptop running XP home edition with service PAK 2. All other programs and functions seem to be normal.

I do have to format my hard disk to get this bulls.... of my system?
Adobe wants to sell a product for a over $1000 and says "thank you" if it does not work because it is buggy "this now cost you some thousand Dollar to rebuild your system"
That can not be true! There has to be somebody with a feeling for decency in bussines how is willing to help here!

Please Help! My Pages, Keynote & Numbers won't open

Updated Keynote (6.2.2) , Pages (5.2.2) & Numbers (3.2.2) August 25th
Updated to Mavericks 10.9.4 September 10th.
K, P & N would not open before or after system upgrade. When I open the app, it takes me to my Documents folder. I can't even download them again because they say installed. If I deleted them, can I re-add K, P & N for free? They came with my computer.

Thanks for the question. When you open Pages, Keynote or Numbers, an “Open” dialog appears. This dialog allows you to choose to open a document (defaults to showing your Documents folder) or open a file from iCloud. In the bottom left corner there is also a “New Document” button:

Trial won't open and neither will my account

I recently downloaded the trial for photoshop but it refuses to open. I had no probelms with the download but every time I try opening the program its tells me that I need to renew my subscription, and this is based on the adobe account of the previous laptop owner. It does give me the option to sign in to my account, but everytime I sign in it redirects me to a serial number screen. I've deleted all the previous adobe programs under the previous owner's account but that did not help at all, it still tells me the same thing. I am obviously missing something here. Any help would be much appreciated.

This won't work. You cannot have a trial and the same product serialized at the same time. Even flushing out the activation data as explained here won't help, as the encrypted activation keys are stil lstored on your system. Sorry, but short of reinstalling your operating system wit ha full format of the drive there is no realistic way that this will ever work.

I installed the keynote update but now my keynote still won't open

I updated keynote 3 days ago. Now when I try to open my presentation it says that I need to update keynote but when I go to the App store it shows it is already installed.

Both versions are installed on the Mac, so either; Right click the file and select Keynote 6 or remove the Keynote 5 icon from the dock then double click the file.

Keynote document won't open

I've created a Keynote presentation on one iMac, but when trying to open the presentation on my MacBook Pro it has the following error:
"You need newer versions of OS X and Keynote to open this presentation. Install the latest version of OS X, then download the latest version of Keynote from the Mac App Store"
Unfortunately the App Store tells me that both Keynote 6.2.2 and OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 are both up to date.
Look forward to some assistance to hopefully resolve this issue.

You will need to provide some basic information:
what operating sytem are you using?
what version of Keynote are you using?
what versions of Keynote created the files?
what Mac model are you using?

InDesign CC Trial won't open files

I have been using the trial for about 2 weeks. We work on files off a server at work, and our server went down today. This caused InDesign to crash and when I reopened it, it would no longer open any files. These are files I created using the trial and was just working on earlier today, and now I get the message "Cannot open the file xxxxx. Adobe Indesign may not support the file format, a plug-in that supports the file format may be missing, or the file may be open in another application."
I have already tried the following:
Restarted my computer
Restarted InDesign
Ran Creative Cloud updates
Uninstalled and reinstalled InDesign CC trial
Had a coworker open the files on his CC trial (worked fine)
Can anyone help?

CS3 Trial won't open

I have installed and reinstalled the trial of Flash CS3. When
I open the app I get to the screen to enter lisense code or try.
Thats as far as it will go. I had PSCS3 Beta installed but
uninstalled it before this install. Any sugestions?

I am pretty sure if you install a trial version, then
uninstall it, then reinstall it, it will not
work - if it did there would be no incentive to buy it as you
could, in theory, uninstall/reinstall
every 30 days and use Flash for free. Did the trial time out
after 30 days of use before you tried
reinstalling?

FCPX trial won't open

I got the Final Cut Pro X trial and the dowloader wont open. When i click on the application it says "The following Disk images couldn't be opened. Then it says the Final Cut Pro X trial under in a list. Whats wrong?
