Keys are shown instead of blank text

Having a problem in our production system. The report is showing Key values for the Blank text. If there is a text value, it is showing correctly.
Problem is coming only in production.
Appreciate any suggesations

Hi,
Just check which text is displayed (Short / Medium /Large). Check the same in Business Explorere tab of Info object and in Qiery prooerties of Info object in query designer.
I guess you have written routine on some other text type and displaying somthing else. Confirm the same by checking it in your text table.

IWDDropDownByKey - Key is shown instead of the value in View

Hi,
we found some strange behaviour when we dynamically generate some IWDDropDownByKey UI-Elements in an IWDTransparentContainer. In IExplorer and Firefox all data looks well. The values in the IWDDropDownByKey-Elements are shown as expected.
In one case with Internet Explorer 7 (and only on one Client-PC) we have an issue, that instead of the value (normal text) the key is shown in the dropdown-field in the view!
Do you know about some bugs regarding to the IWDDropDownByKey-Element with IExplorer 7?

I lost my iphone and activated my number with an old phone. Problem is people with iphones are now sending me blank texts. How do I fix this?

I had an iPhone 4s but left it on my car and drove off. Now I have activated a temporary phone my mom had on hand (Lotus) while I save up for a new iPhone.
Is there a list out there in cyber space somewhere that lists all the iPhone numbers because now people who have iPhones send me blank text messages? I have been able to isolate this down to only happening when they send me an "iMessage" but I don`t understand why I keep getting them? Even people I had never texted with before losing my phone are sending me these blank messages. How do I fix this?

If you registered you iPhone with Apple you may want to try unregistering it by:
Go to: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
Log in if not already logged in.
Click on ">" to the right of the phone listing
Click "unregister"
This may help unregister you iPhone with the iMessage server, allowing texts sent to you from iPhones to be sent as normal SMS/MMS rather than iMessages.

When I forward an email all the headers are shown instead of just the base ones

Squares are shown instead of special charecters[solved]

Probably an easy fix here...but for example in gdm when I login, my password is echo'd as squares with UTF codes inside instead of the little circles/dots...I installed iso-8859 locale as well as the standard utf8...just on a normal english system...

Is your system up-to-date? There was a problem with the fonts packages that was fixed a while ago.
I don't use gdm myself. I just suggestted a fix I read somewhere in these forums.

Show blank texts instead of key or 'not assigned' in query-result

is there a way / workaround to
1. suppress # / 'not assigned' in query results?
or
2. show blank texts (if maintained) instead of the key
(when showing texts for a characteristic in a query all characteristics with blank texts - none or ' ' -
will show the key instead of the blan text) ?

there have been several posts concerning this topic. As Saad told there is no direct way within SAP standard to reach this aim.

Try this.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Opening PDF files using preview on some PDF file result in the content not displaying properly. The file I tried to look at has pictures and text. The pictures are displayed ok but the text is shown as pixalated boxes. The same file opens ok via a PC.

Solutions please. Accessing PDF files online using preview normally works ok. However there are a clutch of files on the mothers union web site that although can be opened, present text as pixalated boxes. The pictures contained in the documents are however displayed OK. I experience the same problem on my Imac and my wifes laptop that runs Lion. The same site has other PDF files that can be opend OK. If I access the same problem files using a PC laptop running microsoft windows, they are opened OK with the text displayed as it should be. This is driving me mad....

For them, I don't know. Presumably, they wish max compatibility for their newsletter, but I really don't know how Office 2007 generates PDF. Maybe they should check transparency settings and flatten before generating PDF? Or perhaps save as PDF v1.4 instead of PDF v1.5? I would use Distiller, but perhaps they can't afford it.

In latest Nightly, arrow keys don't move the cursor but instead exit the text box. How can I fix this so that the arrow keys move the cursor?

Using Nightly 28.0a1, I'm having a problem with the text box fields when typing. I use Hacker's Keyboard which has onscreen arrow keys and I find it more convenient than fiddling with a tiny cursor thumb when editing text. On the Play Store Firefox it works just fine but on Nightly, any time I try to move the cursor with the arrow keys it jumps out of the text box and highlights other elements on the page. This is annoying beyond belief as it means having to resort to that imprecise thumb cursor that takes forever to get where you want it. Is this a known issue with the latest nightly builds?

Blue bubbles are using for iMessages, so problem with receiving is in iMessage.

Sms texts are being sent as blank messages

My mac is running Yosemite and my iPhone 6 is running ios 8.1. SMS messaging is linked but all sms texts sent from my mac are recieved as blank texts. Any solutions?

What does it mean if I get blank text messages from someone but they are not coming from number they appear and disappear they are not coming over the network also emails have been moved around, has my phone been hacked?

I Have been getting blank texts from a number, but the person who owns the niumber is not sending them, they appear then disappear, they are not coming over the network, they come even though number has been black listed, also emails have been moved, I believe by someone who is cyberstalking me but don't know how to prove it, what can I do ?

When a Mac is "registered" for iMessages account with an Apple ID the Serial Number of the Mac is used to create an Auth Token as it is called for the Messages app that allows that Mac to work.
I would guess a similar process of linking the Number of the iPhone to a Hardware fact about the device is also in place.
I would contact Apple Support and check with them. (you might need to speak to a Level 2 person as Level 1 people are script led and try to fit everything into Software or Hardware categories where as sorting and Apple ID (which the Number is in this case) is normally Free).

How to show text instead of blank value in SelectOneChoice list.

Hi,
I have a requirement where I need to show some string like 'Please Select Value' instead of blank item in the select one choice list. So instead on blank value, this string will be displayed in the choice list and if user doesnt select any value it should be treated as normal blank value and validation should be fired.
May I know is there any property which we can set declaratively or any workaround for this?
My JDev version : 11.1.1.7.0

My numerical keys are not giving me numbers, but instead some are producing the symbols of other keys, e.g. when I press 5 I get [..??

I accidentally spilt a little bit of water on my keypad yesterday, but I dried it all off straight away and all my keys were working fine. This morning my number keys suddenly stopped working, I freaked out thinking that it was because of the water yesterday but then I realised that about half an hour before they stopped working, they were working because I used the 1 and 2. I got the keyboard viewer up to work out which keys were not working, and discovered that the number keys were not producing numbers but other symbols when typed. However now, I don't know whether I have done something else because now I can't even get other symbols when I press keys 1-9!
I've tried rebooting, and checking all the setting in system preferences.
Any help would be great!!!

I understand that some of the keys are not working on your notebook computer, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!
To correct the output of characters from your keyboard, I recommend following this document on Notebook Keyboard Troubleshooting (Windows 8). This should help correct how the keys appear on your keyboard.

Create a Blank Text file if it does not exist in a Given Directory

Hi,
I would like to check if text file in a given folder exists or not if not then create a blank text file in a given directory. I was checking File system task, it has options to create directory and move files, copy files but not creating files.
How can I create a blank text file in a given directory in SSIS using script task or any other way.

I am using the Outputfile1 variable. this is the variable where the path of the file will come which was created in the previous script task. In this task i got the exception that it is alread in use.
