Keystroke action 'Enter' for Metal look

Hi
The keystroke actions are the same for Windows and Metal look, but nothing happens, if I activate in Metal look normal command buttons by 'Enter'. But it works with the Windows look and feel. Isn't it implemented yet or isn't it possible to activate the command buttons by 'Enter'?

I think "enter" isn't a valid KeyEvent....
I allways use ActionEvents (ActionListener) when i wanna catch an "enter"
more easy to use and works fine...
i've tried and tried to get the key "enter" but it doesn't work...

I've been seeing messages exactly like that (and many, many other kinds) in the Console since the first version of OS X. They look menacing but are harmless.
You don't need any kind of security software.
Just surf the web carefully, pay attention to where you're going and don't install anything that you don't recognize. If you are asked to enter an admin user name and password, DON'T. Unless you know for sure that you initiated the installation from a known and reliable source (like Apple).
Mac malware relies on social engineering. No amount of security/anti-virus, blah, blah, blah software is going to help.

Advanced Actions used for Menu - Takes 3 menu items for 1 to work? Advanced Actions Help

Alright, here's my next struggle! I have a bit of a strange course I'm putting together that has required a unique approach (at least for me). Basically I'm having learners learn about 10 different reports they can run with a tool they have, and I have a menu (see below) on a slide to allow them to choose to view the reports they want to see. The course is required, but they can view what reports they want as long as they see three. So, what I've done is the following:
Enabled Reporting with a score of 10 points for each Menu Item:
     When a user clicks on a Menu item, it automatically, without AA registers 10 points to the quizzing. The whole course requires a score of 30/80 to pass.
Tried making a system of jumping to content and returning to Menu with a function to show an item has already been viewed:
     As seen below, there is a separate column on the right. Essentially each menu item has a standard action that first has a command to jump to the slide the particular menu item content is at, and then      two, a show function for the green box to cover the grey box indicating the content has been viewed already. The slides for which the user has jumped to has a jump-to-slide on the last slide of the      content to return to this menu.
Checking for Three menu items viewed:
     I have a final slide that has an On-Enter Conditional action that says if the cpinfoQuizpointsscored is = 0 then show caption A, in a separate decision, a similar action but for score of 10, and again for 20,      just so I can send them to a slide that tells them how many reports they need to view before completing.
So here's the problem: When I'm previewing this menu, clicking on a menu item the first time does nothing except bring in the green square. The second attempt on a different item does the same thing. Finally on the third Item I choose, it will jump to the slide as it should and I can return as I should be able to. So why is it taking two failed jumps to get to a jump that works? Order does not seem to play into it. And the only pause I have on the slide is at the end for the "next" button you see. Any thoughts?

What would the pause do? I'm hoping they don't go just in order. And the menu items are indeed smart shapes set to be buttons.

I am working in Acrobat. I trying to create a form dealers will complete and submit. There will be no licensing issues. I have created a button and named it SUBMIT. In the Actions tab I have selected “Submit a form.” I have entered “mailto:[email protected]” under “Enter a URL for this link”. I have also selected “PDF The complete document” as the Export Format.
I saved the file but when I go to the Preview Mode and click the new “Submit” button, I am asked to “Save PDF as” from a menu. Even if I rename the file and click save, nothing happens. I am back in the Preview mode. If I click “Submit” again, I get the same “Save PDF as” routine.
I am baffled.

How do I get a Metalic look to a surface?

I'm working on making a 3D logo for a client. They've generated a 3D image in Solidworks (Two letters of text). I import it into Photoshop and convert it to a psd and then into Shake for further processing as Photoshop won't let you apply filters to a 3D object. I've achieved something kinda metal looking using the solarize node but I'd like to get a better effect if I could. To complicate matters the client wants the object to be dark, preferable as close to black as possible, which really makes it harder. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

I would approach it the same way as in photoshop.
Logo- re order node (settings nnna)
Reorder- Rand
Rand- Blur (pixels X setting to like 200-250)
Put all your color correction between the Rand and blur nodes.
Dont forget to stop the Rand node from animating...if you dont want it to flicker.

El error parece ser una configuracion incorrecta del archivo .war. Verifica que se esten cargando las clases "form beans" y "action".
Estamos usando el IDE JBoss y se configur� : Properties -> Packaging Configuration para que empaquetara el archivo .war de forma adecuada.
Agrega a la configuraci�n el folder donde se encuentran tus archivos .class. Y en la opci�n "prefix" escribe lo siguiente: WEB-INF/classes
El campo "include" debe quedar en blanco, esto asegura que en tu paquete se agregaran tus archivos *.class.

Thanks Laparra!! Thanks to your original comment again-- at least now I know if I need a "work-around" I now know at-least-that-the original-fonts in PS TOUCH seem to work. No wonder the default-font worked.. but not the NEW COPPERPLATE FONT.. YaY, mystery solved.. (almost)! [i wished they'd change that default-font..and get a new default font...Lol.. It's pretty homely looking..Hee.) I normally have been using that original TRAJAN PRO FONT.. but the letter "J" almost looks like a straight line vs a rounded J.. which at least the new COPPERPLATE FONT (which is a more normal usable font--That's not boring like aerial is,etc... ]. So yeah that will be great when all those new fonts gets fixed! // It would be great too (on my PS TOUCH wishlist, if someday they could fix the TEXT BOX too.. to be able to better & easily add A LOT [more] TEXT on a graphic .. as I always have to go to the "OVER APP" [That's the name of the app in the APPLE store] on my iPad to do that... PS TOUCH only seems to let you do TITLES vs a more lengthy text on a project. If I want to make an EASY border I take the image I've been working on into the CAMERA+.Plus App.. Assuming that in this day and age you want security.
Setting up a new email account on mail, the password is entered for connecting to the in & outgoing servers before SSL is set. Before you can set SSL, mail connects to the servers so email password is transmitted unencrypted?
This seems a very obvious quirk/bug and something that I have always felt uncomfortable about.
Anyone else think this is not a good thing?

Actually it look like all apple devices have the same mail setup procedure, so are your email passwords all being sent over the network in plain text before you get the chance to set the SSL option?

when JtextField is focused I need to bind a combined key command to execute a function. For example when user presses ctrl+n and action will be executed. How can I do this for JTextField?

Keystroke combinations needed for special characters in specific fonts?

How do you see the required keystrokes to enter special characters? Very frustrating!!! Using Pages to help my wife create a brochure. We wanted to use one of the symbols available in the font "Type Embellishments One LET" (which I assume installed with Pages). In Font Book we could see all the possible characters BUT NOT HOW TO TYPE THEM. We ended up typing scores of keys and keystroke combinations to finally see the one we wanted, then use cut and paste. There must be a better way but we (along with some Mac Support people at my work) cannot find it.
Is there a way to do this without buying a program like PopChar. Seems like this should be fundamental to using a Mac out of the box.

You can use "Keyboard Viewer" to see what characters are created with various keystrokes. Open the International Preference Pane, click on the Input Menu tab & click the box next to Keyboard Viewer. This will make this available in your menu bar by clicking the flag icon. Select "Show Keyboard Viewer" from the flag menu & you will see a layout of the keyboard. You can then hold down the shift key, the option key OR shift + option to see all the possibilities. The highlighted ones are the accents than you can apply to letters. To get "é" type option-e (nothing will appear), then type e. This accent could be place over most letters. You can change the font in the drop-down menu. Not all fonts will have all characters. Keyboard Viewer places the typing directly into the top, open document.

Settlement type
Depending on the processing type, the settlement type determines which settlement rule is used in a particular type of settlement processing.
The SAP system supports four settlement types. The AUC and PRE settlement types are used for settlement of capital investment measures. You can only use the PER settlement type for planned settlement.
PER (periodic settlement):
Settlement with this settlement type covers only the costs for the relevant settlement period.
The following data from internal cost allocations:
Sender cost center/activity type sent
Business process
Quantities
is allocated further to the following receivers:
Cost center
Internal order
Sales order
WBS element
Cost object
Business process
Actual activity prices, elimination of internal business volume and variances can then be calculated correctly in Cost Center Accounting and Activity-Based Accounting;
FUL (full settlement):
You can use this settlement type in automatic settlements.
The difference to periodic settlement is that in full settlement you settle each time all the costs that have occurred for a sender object for all the periods prior to the settlement (and are not yet settled). If PER rules exist, they take precedence over the FUL rule.
Quantities from internal activity allocations are not sent to the receiver. This means that there is no guarantee that actual activity prices, elimination of internal business volume, and variance calculation will take place correctly. For this reason, we do not recommend that you use FUL for cost centers or business processes.
AuC (Capitalization in asset under construction):
This settlement is automatically generated if you enter a capital investment profile with an AuC as its capital investment measure in the order control data.
Settlement is conducted periodically and in full to the AuC
PRE (periodic preliminary settlement):
You can enter PRE rules in the settlement rule for the order. They are used as part of settling capital investment measures. Depending on the rules you entered, posted debits are settled to the CO receivers or to a G/L account before the periodic settlement.
It is good idea to do this for particular line items if there are additional costs assigned to a capital investment measure that should not be capitalized. This may be necessary, should you wish to monitor the total costs of the measure in controlling.
Use
Note that settlement type FUL permits quantity settlement for primary cost elements only. You cannot settle quantities to assets.
Note that you cannot manually create or change a distribution rule with settlement type AUC. This has the following effect on settlement rule maintenance:
The required rule is generated from the asset under construction, which is stored in the master data for a capital investment measure, ( order or WBS element)when you carry out settlement for the first time.
