Keyword Panel not appearing in View Menu
I am a bit confused. I have viewed two Adobe produced videos that indicate that the panels are supposed to be selectable from the View menu in CS3 Bridge on my Mac.
When I click on my View menu, I do not see panels listed, only
Compact Mode
Slideshow
Slideshow Options
As Thumbnails
As Details
Show Thumbnail Only
Show Reject Files
Show Hidden files
Show Folders
Sort>
Refresh
But the videos show additional menu items that include the panels ie:
Folders Panel
Favorites Panel
Preview Panel
Metadata Panel
Keywords Panel
Filter Panel
Cinema Preview Panel
Inspector Panel
Why am I not seeing the panels under the View menu?

Could be they used a very early version in the beta cycle to produce this
video and Adobe changed this in the end version? Don't know but it is a nice
blooper...

Keywords do not appear in view
I am using iphoto'11 (have upgraded since iphoto'08.
I use to be able to set "view" with keywords. The keywords would show at bottom of each photo.
In iphoto'11 I no longer can view based on keywords. I can perform a search of a tagged photo (keyword) but the selection under VIEW which shows keywords as an option, doesn't do anything.The keywords have been moved to the Info tray at the right.

You can send a request to move them back to under the thumbnail to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.

In my iCal, "new reminder" does not appear in the menu under "File". How can I get reminders to show up on my iCal?
If you're running Mountain Lion (10.8.3), reminders is now a separate app. Launch reminders from your applications group and you will be able to access File>New Reminder.

Prompt not appearing for a menu
1)I added a function and associated a jsp file to it.
2)I added a prompt to an exisiting menu with function created in step 1.
The prompt however does not appear under the menu. Is there anything else I need to do?

Recently when I install apps, the icon does not appear on the menu screen, also, it shows that it is downloading at the app store and when complete, I can not open it or reinstall it. Has happened on the last 4 free apps. Help Please
Reset your iPad. Press and hold both the power and home buttons for 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till you iPad starts on it's own. Now try and download an app.

Steady green light on A1084. Mac OS X 10.7.5. IMac. Verizon DSL Actiontec GT704-WGB modem. Airport Utility 5.6 says set up is complete. Airport Express base station does not appear in the menu bar, so I cannot select it and send a signal to airport express to play airtunes through my stereo amplifier. Is there a fix?
I plugged a model A1034 Airport Extreme Base Station into the Verizon DSL Actiontec GT704-WGB modem with an ethernet cable and now the AirPlay icon appears in the Itunes window immediately to the right of the volume control and I can select it and play Airtunes wirelessly through the A1038 Airport Express Base Station in another room connected to a stereo amplifier by a Monster mini-to-RCA left/right audio cable running from the output jack on the A1034 Airport Express Base Station into the CD jacks on the amp. The problem is that I have to select the Apple Network Airport Express Base Station as my network in order to select the Airport Express Base Station when I click the AirPlay icon, which means I have no Internet signal to the Imac. If I select the Airport Extreme Base Station or the Verzion modem as my network, then I have an Internet signal to the Imac, but the Airport Express Base Station is grayed out when I click on the AirPlay icon, so I cannot select the Airport Express Base Station and send tunes to the Airport Express. It would be nice to play Airtunes while simultaneously accessing the Internet. I don't understand your question about what program I am using for which I require AirPlay. I am not learned about computers in general, and even less so about Macs than PCs. I thought the program I was running was Itunes, and there was no separate program to run to use AirPlay for the purpose of sending a signal from the Itunes on the Imac to the A1084 Airport Express base station in a another room, and then out as described above to the stereo amplifier to listen to Itunes music remotely in the other room, without any kind of cable, wire, etc., connecting the Imac to the stereo amplifier. I would guess that the most common use for the A1084 is to play Itunes through a stereo in another room without the need to run wires from the computer to the stereo. I realize it would be easy simply to run a very long mini-to-RCA left/right audio cable across the floor connecting the Imac to the amp without the need to use AirTunes, Airplay or any kind of AirPort, but it would be both unsightly and a tripping hazard.

Application installed but does not appear in main menu

Did you try to use the search function "spotlight" to find the app on your device? Go to your main screen and swipe once more to the right to open spotlight and search for it.
Also try to reset the ipod by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again, or reset your Home Screen by going to Settings/General/Reset ->Reset Home Screen -
Programmatically created calendar view does not appear on view selector menu

My problem is that even though the view is created, it does not appear in the View links just above my list. It only appears in the drop down menu of views in the ribbon. On the contrary, if I create the view using the browser user interface (not programmatically),
the view appears in both places.
Do you have any idea why this might be happening?

I can reproduce the issue that creating calendar view using programming method, the view isn’t shown in view selector menu, and this only happens to calendar view, html view or other views are shown in the menu.
After editing the web part, disable the selector menu, then re-enable the selector menu again, I can see the calendar view shown in the view selector menu, create a new calendar view using programming, the calendar view shows as expected.
This seems indicate there is some issue in the view selector menu display, I would suggest you to first disable the view selector menu through edit the web part properties, then create the calendar view.

File Place does not appear on my menu. Neither does Tools Photoshop Image processor.
In Bridge File>Place is grayed out on my menu. Tools>Photoshop>Image processor does not appear at all. I have reset the preferences numerous times and am good to go until I shut down my computer. When I reboot they are gone again. I have a Mac with OS 10.10.2 (Yosemite) and CC.

Well, that's fine for the OS, but sometimes not so great for Photoshop. Try QUITTING Photoshop from the Photoshop menu, or by Command Q, before you get anywhere near your Apple menu .
Gene gave you sound advice, but don't forget to run Repair Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility before and after any installation, upgrade or update of the OS or any application.
You'd think that shouldn't be necessary, but it is indeed vital, indispensable routine maintenance.
Forget about "it had never happened before", Yosemite is a work in progress. Apple never gets a major OS X release right until about the dot four or five release, so Yosemite has a way to go before it's at 10.10.4 or 10.10.5. That has proven to be the nature of the beast. -

i need some help please....my mac acceppts cds and dvds... my drive is located at the right of the screen.....but no icon appears in desktop and finder......also...it does not read....any cd....does not read any dvd either.....it ejects the cds after a while on its own....also it does not burn any cd.....wen i tried....errors with 0x06 ....medium errors,....show up.....also...i tried reinstalling the mac os.....but when i restart the pc...and...keep C key pressed...the cd just gets ejected.....can someone please help me with this problem?????? i contacted APPLE too.. but they said it must be a software problem......also no apple macbookair superdrive does not get connected to the mac either.....PLEASE HELP!!!!

"Organize Bookmarks" does not appear under Bookmarks menu, even though Help advises to go there.
I've needed to eliminate Bookmarks. Because I have no "Organize Bookmarks" or "Manage Bookmarks" option under the Bookmarks menu, I've tried dragging bookmarks off the list onto my desktop. I've tried right-clicking to get a "delete" option (but there is none). I've gone to "Help" where I'm advised to click on the Bookmarks menu item, select "Organize Bookmarks," and proceed from there. An image of the items in "Organize Bookmarks" appears in this "Help" instruction. BUT -- "Organize Bookmarks" does not appear when I click the Bookmarks menu item.
That menu item was changed to '''Show All Bookmarks''' in Firefox 4.0.

Airplay works on I-tunes but not on sites where you might want to stream, such as U-tube. It does not appear on my display menu settings, but as i-tunes as the icon I am thinking the computer must have the capability. Can anyone help, how to I turn airplay on so I can stream using my apple TV. I am sure as I-tune is working I have everything set up right.
Mirroring requires OSX 10.8 or higher.
Just use the YouTube app on the ATV. -
The "Adobe PDF" menu choice does not appear on Excel Menu
I've installed Acrobat 9.1.2 and the "Adobe PDF" menu choice does not appear on the Excel 2000 Menu. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Microsoft Office option in PDF Maker with no change. It does appear on the Word 2000 Menu. Adobe 8.1.3 shows on all apps of Microsoft 2000 (on different computers.)
According to Version Compatibility of Acrobat PDFMakers Office 2000 is not suupported by Acrobat 9.

Place command not appearing in file menu
I click file and do not see the Place Command so I can insert picture. Where else could it be?
Hold on a sec. Are you saying it appears in the File menu, but not in the context menu?
That's normal -- I've been asking for years for Place to appear in context menus...

Copy the code above and paste into a plain text editor like Notepad. Save as type "all files" and add the .jsx extension. It should be placed into the application \Scripts\Startup Sripts subfolder and it will run when ID starts up. The folder should exist in CS5, but if not you can add it.
Here's one by Dirk (I think Becker) that does the same thing to add No Break:
