Keywords and Quick Group Problem

I recently installed iLife 09. I now can't drag keywords out of the Quick Group window into the Keywords window. But the reverse does work. I was able to freely move keywords back and forth between these 2 windows using the last version of iPhoto (in iLife 08).

This is an issue introduced with version 09. As of now there is no solution.

Keywords and Quick Group

I did some hunting to find this answer but did not find what I was looking for so sorry if this is a repeat.
When adding keywords to the group they are automatically put into the Quick Group and assigned a short cut. I'd rather some of them be in the regular keyword box. How to you delete the shortcut assignment? I've clicked on "edit key words", then clicked on "shortcut". Once it highlights the shortcut letter I hit delete, but it won't delete a shortcut. I've tried dragging the keyword in quick group to the regular group and that doesn't work either.
How do you move a work from the Quick Group, delete the shortcut and have it in the regular group? And when adding a keyword how do you get it to go in the regular group and not assigned a shortcut?

I'm not getting anywhere. I have the edit keyword window up. Keywords are on the left and the shortcut column is on the right. When I click on the shortcut button (at the bottom of the screen) it highlights the keyword shortcut for that particular word. If I hit the delete key it takes the shortcut out, but as soon as I hit OK, it comes back. I find no way to eliminate a shortcut letter assignment. If I click on the "-" button it is going to remove that keyword and take if off of the photos it was assigned to.
It can't be that difficult but I'm not getting anywhere.

Wism and RF Group Problem

We have on Wism version 4.0.155.5. We configured one RF group name for two controllers in the wism and use auto-RF. The problem is each controller can only see itself in the RF group and consider itself as the RF group leader. My understanding is each one should see two controllers in the RF group and only one should be the RF group leader. Where could be wrong?

AAA, WLC, and AP Groups, Anchor Controller, Problem

All,
First, I have a TAC case open on this problem, but they seem to be stumped and I have been unable to get them to mock it up. Here are the details and the problem(s):
Have Cisco ACS using backend AD for user authentication
MSCHAP, 802.1x
Three wireless controllers running ver 7.0.98.0; one controller is 4404 the other two are on WiSM blade in 6509.
Many AP Groups and a few mobility achor setups.
Wifi clients used to test are Intel and have the proper drivers 12.4.4.5 and 13.1.1.1
First authentication problem is via SSIDs associated with anchor contollers. Whenever the SSID is set to use 802.1x, the anchor controller sends message to ACS(RADIUS), but ACS never sees the communication.
Second authentication problem is related to AP Groups. Whenever a client associates with an AP that is in a specific AP group and that SSID is also associated with that AP group's interface, I get the same result as above - the contoller talks to the ACS, but the ACS never sees the communication.
Note that all the above works fine as long as I am not using 802.1x. If I am using PSK, it all works flawlessly.
One other thing to note is that, in the case of the AP Group problem, if withing the AP group I associate the SSID with the management interface, the 802.1x works perfectly. The problem with that is that the client get assigned an IP address from the management Vlan... not what I want, instead, I want the client to get it's IP address from the interface associated with the AP Group.
It is not a routing problem....
I have gone through two TAC engineers and the problem is still not resolved. So close, but not succesfull.
Any interoperability/Security experts out there that can help nail this thing?

Sorry for the late reply.... of course your suggestion was right-on the mark and a wireshark trace uncovered the problem. I had already re-engaged Cisco TAC and between the wireless engineer and one of their security engineers, they were able to point out that the Cisco ACS 5.0 has a bug specific to this particular problem. They told me to apply patch, apply OS upgrade, then apply ACS 5.1 upgrade to the ACS. I was able to apply the patch, but never could get the OS upgrade to take. For the heck of it, I re-checked the problem after applying the patch and YooHoo! Works as advertised!
Thanks for showing the interest, it was definetly a pain-point for my customer.

Iphone and droid group message problem

I recently got the iphone 6. I have a group text comprised of iphone and non iphone users. If the discussion is just between the non iphone users the messages send properly (as a sms). However, when an iphone user responds it automatically converts to iMessage and non iphone users stop receiving the group txt. HELP!?!?!

I had an iphone 5 and switched to Samsung galaxy S5 in August 2014. Went through all the processes of de-registering number with apple imessage and had no problems with getting group messages from iPhone users. Then, about beginning of January, no longer could receive group messages from my iPhone friends. A couple have upgraded to the 6 but others had not. I have a pending case with ATT support, worked with Samsung support and did a factory reset, still no fix. I had two of my friends turn off iMessage today and send the group text, guess what? IT WORKED. So I totally agree, something has happened, maybe with a recent iOS update, not sure. But, they cannot send me group texts with iMessage turned on. Need help because I cannot afford to switch back to iPhone just so I can group text, but I'm getting left out of important information and events. VERY FRUSTRATED!!!!!!

Adding keywords and phrases for high search engine hits

I'm new to iWeb and most things seem to be working. I have one question and one problem, hopefully you guys can help out.
Question: how do I add html code that is not visible on the page but that will help Google and other search engines find my page using keywords, phrases, etc.? Please assume I know very little about this and need the holding hand explanation.
Problem: I have a media file portion on my website that displays pictures (working very well) and one that is supposed to show a movie (not working at all). The movie was made with iMovie and has an .m4v extension. When you click on the link for the movie it shows a blank screen on Firefox and a Quicktime logo with a big question mark on Safari. I'm attempting to view the website on my Mac with the latest Quicktime software on it but it doesn't work. Any ideas on how to fix it?
Some additional info: the hosting provider is 1and1.com and I have a Windows server package (unfortunately). Also, if I publish the site to a folder the movie area works flawlessly, it just does not work on the hosted site.

You don't need to do post publication manual editing of your site to add keywords and other metadata. You can use the freeiWeb SEO Tool. If you're publishing to MobileMe you can add them after publication. If you're publishing to a commercial hosting server you'll need to publish to a folder on the desktop, run SEO and then use a 3rd party ftp client like the free Cyberduck to upload your site.
If you have to republish SEO remembers what you added and can quickly add them again before uploading.

Groups problem - urgent

Hi all,
I've just upgraded my email server to iMS 5.1 and Netscape Directory Server 4.13 and my groups no longer work for email. The groups are active and I have been into the console and checked they have a mail account. The individual users accounts work fine for sending and receiving email. I've added the aliaslocal keyword to tcp_local and tcp_intranet but I'm now ata total loss.
Any help would be appreciated.

Just to let you know - after some correspondance with BEA my problem did
indeed prove to be caused by a bug in WebLogic. Fortunately this has been
solved in SP2.

Remote Control and Remote View Problem

Hi,
I work at a High School running Netware 6.0 SP5 and Zen works 4.01 ir7.
Remote Control and Remote View works great but I noticed one problem.
We have a logo of the school that is forced down on to the desktop when a
user logs in through group policies. This logo works perfect for the
desktop wall paper and loads every time a user logs in.
When I Remote Control or Remote View a computer the users desktop wall
paper turns from the logo being forced down through group policies to the
desktop to a blue desktop wall paper.
I would prefer the desktop wall paper staying the schools logo when I
Remote Control or Remote View because if the desktop wall paper changes to
the blue color I mentioned above when I Remote Control or Remote View the
users computer, they will know that someone is taking over their computer
which sometimes we dont want them knowing.
We have Windows 98SE computer running Novell Client 3.4 and we have some
computers running Windows XP Professional SP1 and Windows XP Professional
SP2 both running Novell Client 4.91 SP2.
The Remote Control and Remote View problem of the desktop wall paper
changing on the users computer occurs on all operating systems mentioned
above.
Is there a solution to my above problem? When Remote Controlling and
Remote Viewing someone's computer I don't want the desktop wall paper to
change.

New Infinity and BT Vision problem solved - thanks...

Not a problem or a complaint this time, but a pat on the back for BT.
I received my new BT Infinity service today, the engineers were on time, professional and quick. After my Infinity service was active however I noticed I was getting a lot of V04 errors on BT Vision On Demand stuff. I checked the line speed, and all seemed to be great, I am getting over 42meg!! So why the V04?? I called BT support and spoke to a lovely lady who seemed to know exactly what I was talking about, and she had the problem sussed out and fixed in about two minutes.
It turns out the problem was due to a QoS setting on my profile. Over the last 18 months or so I had several times that my old ADSL broadband line speed would just dissappear to almost nothing, each time the BT support staff would push up the QoS in order to try and provide a good enough line speed for the BT vision to work. This setting was never fixed when my new Infinity connection was setup and it was causing problems, hence the V04. Problem appears to be fixed now, thanks for the quick resultion BT.

That said, the performance I was seeing even with the problem wasn't bad enough to stop streaming working.
They say that because it can hinder the performance, as some surge protectors destroy signal but some are fine.

How do I restore my tabs and tab groups after an update to version 36.0?

I work with many tabs when I use Firefox. I keep them ordered in Tab Groups, which helps separate the different kids of work I do and interests I have. I have been using this environment for years. When I started my work today, Firefox updated to v36.0, and the following behaviour was noticed:
1. There is only one tab group when attempting to show Tab Groups in Panorama, as opposed to around a dozen;
2. Normally though the hidden tabs (the tabs in the same group as the startup group and not the default page) don't download content until clicked, the name of the page and icon, if available, will show on the tab. Presently, the tabs show "New Tab" and no icon. There appears, however, to be the number of tabs that exist across all Tab Groups but now are ghosts this one, default Tab Group. I'd have to add, though, I don't count the number of tabs, so I can't be exactly sure. When clicked, there is just a blank page. So it is odd that Firefox knows they are there but cannot simply attach the address to it.
I have tried to restore the following files from my Windows Home Server backup to the AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<gobbletygook>.default folder:
1. In the sessionstore-backups folder, I replaced the previous.js, recovery.bak and recovery.js files (not any of the upgrade~) with files from yesterday and from two days before.
When that didn't do anything, I replaced
2. sessionCheckpoints.json
I didn't see any file with a recent date that appeared to be one that I should restore. I should add that I do see hidden files. I thought about restoring the whole lot, but wasn't sure how this would affect the program on v36.0 and the profile files on 35.0.1.
I have deadlines this week and need to immediately restore my environment in order to make those deadlines. I have no list of addresses to my Web pages to work in IE or other. Any help would be very much appreciated.
On a second note, I had been wondering recently whether this tab group environment is a suitable way to maintain my work environment. Occasionally, when opening Panorama, I would get an error saying a script is taking too long, but if I clicked Continue, it would display the groups in a few seconds. I had considered putting all of it in Bookmarks though it would be tedious and more difficult to access and open multiple tabs. In the beginning, I tried Tab Groups thinking it was a simple matter of maintaining a table of addresses (in tabs) with a tab group ID or name. How could that go wrong? Well, it has, so it is obviously more complicated than that, and I didn't realise that upgrades would affect personal data. Should I abondon using tab groups?

With the help of information from user, ptressel, in [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1032154#answer-673322 a post here about the existence of sessionstore.js when version 33 was released], I was able to easily recover my tabs and tab groups as follows:
# close Firefox and, perhaps, allow a few seconds (30s?) for any final closing of files;
# check to see if you have a sessionstore.js file in your profile folder, named like the one I documented in my original post above;
# if it is not timestamped prior to the discovery of your problem, open the sessionstore-backups folder;
# check if the recovery.js file is suitably timestamped and, if not, the recovery.bak.
# At this point, you are likely to find that none of them are prior to your problem occuring. If so, open your backups of this folder and go through steps 2-4 to find a file prior to your problem occuring.
# When you find a file, copy it to the root of your current profile folder and name it, "sessionstore.js"
# Open Firefox. Mine opened up as desired.
This is a Windows solution. Sorry I can't comment on other platforms, but I'd bet that as this is just a file copy and renaming, it is likely the same.
For Windows users, you may find you need to sign out and login as an administrator in order to access the backups. You need not logoff your standard account, but do have Firefox closed as described above.

How do I resize pinned tabs/deal with tab group problems in Firefox 22?

With the automatic update to Firefox 22, my pinned tabs have ballooned in size; not only does this look horrible, but it reduces the real estate available for other tabs. While NoSquint has sorted the issue with websites randomly resizing themselves, everything else (add-on menu, toolbar icons) has also increased in size, which affects what can be displayed.
Another problem with 22 is that my tab groups are no longer behaving normally: I click on one group and another group moves around the screen, typically jumping behind the original group I clicked on. Any suggestions for how to improve these problems are much appreciated.

if you want to set the text size/pixel density in firefox different from that of your system's settings like it was handled in prior versions, enter '''about:config''' into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named '''layout.css.devPixelsPerPx'''. double-click it and change its value to '''1.0''' (or any other zoom factor that fits your purpose; 0.8 equals 80%, 1.15 is 115% and so on..., -1.0 is the default value and will adhere to the system settings).

DataLoad into Write-optimized DSO with DTP and semantic groups

hi gurus,
i'm going crazy with my current problem.
i searched in the other posts of this topic, but i did not found a solution.
here my situation:
i created a w-o-DSO with semantic key (0ucinstalla, 0calmonth, zbelnum, 0unit) and three key figures.
now i'm loading from several cubes data into the DSO. (i need the historical data)
in every transformation, i implemented an expertroutine which collects the data into the result_package.
in the routine, i even clear the record number before collecting the result_rows.
in the DTPs, i'm using a semantic group for 0ucinstalla in order to select all rows for one 0ucinstalla into one data-package.
each DTP has to run one time in full mode.
but when i schedule the third DTP, i get the message: "duplicate record"
i checked the active data in dso. there was no record with that semantic key.
i found a record with the same 0ucinstalle for a diferent month - in my opinion, thats no duplicate record...
is there a dependence between semantic key in DSO and semantic group in DTP?
how can i solve this error?

There was a runtime error earlier related to u201Cdefine credit u201C IMG node under costing sheet component and we have applied SAP note 769946 and that error was gone out of the way
We want to apply/add Overhead to SFG/FG materials.
We are using PP order with PCC(product cost collector) as the cost object , i.e costing by period.(system ECC 6)
But our problem is with material standard cost estimate process.
We have assigned overhead keys to the percentage rates in costing sheet for material standard costing and assigned the origin groups to the credits of costing sheet. But after running the cost estimate overhead is not taking into account for standard cost calculation.
In the define credit entry table key field is valid to date strangly and actually system should allow one than one entry with same valid to date and same sec.Cost element(type-41) for different cost centers.
But if we without using overhead key and origin group, the entire cost in that supporting cost center will come to all materials (SFG/FG) and we can not distinguish between different product materials(SFG /FG).
We have checked all things as mentined below.
Firstly that the correct costing sheet is assigned to the valuation
variant.
That the costing sheet is entered for the appropriate material type:
Finished and semi finished or material components.
All of the above can be checked and verified via transaction OKKN.
In addition make sure that the base value maintained is present in the
costing, for example the base may include an Origin group, is that
origin group part of the materials being costed?
Similarly if the base is found and values exist how is the overhead
rate of the costing sheet set up, is it valid etc.
And finally do a similar check for the credit.
we doubt this as a programm error...
So, request all experts to have ur feedback..

Check your origin group & material unit of mesaurement is same.
some time in costing sheet origin group is maintain in different unit & for materail it's maitain in other unit of mesaurement.
You can see unit of measure for material in Additional data - unit of measure.
Check BOM component material unit also.
Check same unit of measure is maintain in KZS2

I never put Jailbreak! And I buy his new!
Updates to IOS 7 will fix all the problems?
