Keywords don't get added in iMovie 09

I have some events in my iMovie where I can't add keywords to video.
I select the keyword tool, use the auto add feature (the cursor turns into a small key as usual) and when I drag the cursor over the video section, the keyword flies over it (as usual), but the keyword line doesn't appear on top of this video, and the keyword panel doesn't show that this portion has any keywords. Also the keyword filter doesn't find anything.
Yet, I do have some events where keywords work. The video is from the same camera, and events are created in the same manner.
I thought it could be an issue of Optimized video (AIC) vs Non-optimized video (Original MP4), but I converted the video segment to Optimized, and still keywords can't be added. The procedure works fine, as usual, but at the end, the keywords simply don't get added.
I can do all the other stuff with these problematic videos, just not add keywords.
I couldn't find anything related to keywords on the internet, so this forum is my last chance.

Seems that Apple has been reading the Microsoft playbook and by providing a free "upgrade" to iMovie 09 from 08 has now removed the ability to import MPEG2 files directly...where previously you could.
I can now pay to upgrade to '11 which claims to support MPEG2 on this camera. Has anyone else been down this road and paid to fix what Apple broke for free? Cost isn't the issue, just hoping to avoid the hassle of the upgrade to discover it won't work

Songs Don't Get Added Correctly To My Nano From My iTunes Playlists.

Some of the songs from my iTunes playlist don't get imported onto my Nano for some reason. I tried over and over--first deleting the playlist, then adding the playlist again to my Nano, but the same songs still don't get added correctly. They show up on the Nano's playlist, but when I try to play the song, it skips them!

Podcasts Don't Get Added to Podcast List and Don't Delete Off of Phone

I have an iPhone 3G 16GB and I am having a big problem with Podcasts.
Since I am working from two locations in my iTunes called "Podcasts", let me define them up front. The "Podcast" icon that appears in my main iTunes Library I will call "Podcasts iTunes". The "Podcast" icon that appears when you flip down the twirly arrow next to my iPhone under the Device listings I will call "Podcasts iPhone".
Sometimes I take a group of Podcasts (from a variety of Podcast feeds) from my "Podcasts iTunes" listings and drag them onto the "Podcasts iPhone" icon. But not all of them will actually transfer over. To force all of them to copy to my iPhone, I have created a Playlist called "IP Pods". Once I drag these Podcasts there, they copy over just fine. (some of them will even be listed under the "Podcasts iPhone" icon. But lets assume for now that none of them are "making the list") None of them are showing up under the Music listing for my iPhone. They only appear in the "IP Pods" playlist.
Now, if I try to delete any of these files, I get an even bigger problem. They will delete off of my "IP Pods" playlist just fine, but they don't seem to be actually deleted from the iPhone. After just a month, I have almost a full Gigabyte discrepancy between the amount of audio that my iPhone says it has by looking under Summary tab for my iPhone and the amount of audio that I see when clicking on the Music listing for my iPhone (under Devices).
So how can I get these files deleted? They aren't showing up as Podcasts or as Music on my iPhone, only in the playlist.
Are they still there and eating up this 1GB of space? Yes. I am sure of this. Let's say I had two shows for a Podcast called "Week 4" and "Week 5", these being a Podcast that, like above, I can only copy to and see in my "IP Pods" playlist. Then I delete them. Then I copy over "Week 6" to my "IP Pods" playlist and play back the show. If I click the little icon in the upper right hand corner of my iPhone screen, I can see "Week 4", "Week 5" and "Week 6" listed. I can even tap on and listen to "Week 4" and "Week 5"--even though they no longer show up in my "IP Pods" playlist, or in the iPhone Music tab (listed under Devices in my iTunes), or in the "Podcasts iPhone" listings.
This is very frustrating and I want my 1GB of space back. Haaaaalp!

Are you using Smart Playlists? I have never dragged and dropped podcasts to the iPhone device and as the Podcasts tab of the iPhone device in iTunes does not work for me (It syncs all podcasts even if I state just 1 most recent) I have managed to find a workaround to my problem.
First try unticking the playlist containing the podcasts on the Music tab of the iPhone device and then sync it with your iPhone. It should remove the 1GB of podcast on your iPhone.
If not, try the following, which has helped me control which podcasts get synced with my iPhone -
1. Untick sync checkboxes on the Podcasts/Music/Video/Ringtones/Photos tabs of the iPhone device in iTunes (NOT applications)
2. Sync the iPhone and it should remove all items apart from your applications. Therefore Audio, Photos and Video should say 0 GB and Other will be xxMB as those are your applications. If Audio/Video still shows 1GB then you will have to restore as 'New Phone' to get that 1GB back as there is no disk access with the iPhone. Once you have got your memory back try the following -
3. Create a Smart Playlist for all your podcasts (File -> New Smart Playlist and select Podcast and is true in the drop-down lists)
4. Tick the options "Sync only checked songs and videos" on the Summary tab of the iPhone device in iTunes.
5. Tick sync checkboxes on the Music/Video/Ringtones/Photos tabs of the iPhone device in iTunes
6. On Music tab, select "Selected Playlists" radio button and tick the Podcast Smart Playlist as well as any other playlist that you want to sync to your iPhone
7. Sync the iPhone and you should see all Podcasts that are in the Smart Playlist.
- To remove podcasts from the iPhone, untick podcasts in the Smart Playlist in iTunes and then sync the iPhone
- Any new downloaded podcasts should appear in the Smart Playlist and should be automatically synced. So it is a manual process o
I think the problem all stems from deleting Video podcast content directly from the iPhone (Swipe left to right on title of video) which causes problems for iTunes. You can delete video podcasts directly from the phone (Videos) but not audio podcasts (Podcasts) as video podcasts get listed under both views (Another bug!??)

We added iMessage the them both and at first it was great, the messages appear in the text messages under the phone contacts and when I send a text message it will either be a green message or a blue one for (iMessage) depending on the signal. Now when my husband sends a text message to me I don't get them all or some days none. When I send him a text message he gets them from my email address. I cannot send him a standard text anymore my phone only wants to iMessage, so if the signal is not right it just sits there undelivered???

You and your husband can share a store account and still have seperate iCloud accounts for your contacts, bookmarks and stuff like that. Click here for instructions to make an apple account without entering a credit card. Make sure you use a different email address for each apple account.
Set up your iPhone/iPad whatever using the new account for iCloud. Then go into settings/store and sign in with your purchasing account, you may need to sign out of the other account. To the best of my knowledge, your household is allowed to share purchased legally, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Once you each have your own devices set to your own accounts you can set them to backup to that account and it will keep all your contacts seperate.

You can't. Why on earth would you attempt to manage 2500 emails with setting up a folder structure or some means of doing so? Simply keeping them in an single inbox is not realistic, no matter what email client you use.

YOU need to - in iMovie - Turn on Advanced Tools !
top row menu - with an Apple top left ---> iMovie ---> down to preferences ---> Here select to turn on Advanced tools .
Now it will work when You drop a clip onto another IN a MOVIE PROJECT ! (can not be done in Event's)
Next problem I had - was to get right clip onto the other - what was the Background and What was the Green screen - BUT just test - You only got two ways to try out.

Low quality image when adding to iMovie

I have 2 movies that I want to remove some parts, but when adding to iMovie, it changed some video adjustments to a worst quality image.
This 2 movies had already bad image quality from the source, because they have very darkness frames and were filmed in VHS.
But they were reasonable to see, from Apple TV.
Now in iMovie they became worst.
The source is H.264, AAC 1280x720 FPS 23,97

Depends on the size of the sample and what space is available to you on a server. You can usually send snippets as e-email attachments up to about 10 MBs. If you have a MobileMe account, server space provided by your ISP, or other server space provided by a third-party service, then you can upload larger samples for FTP or webpage use and simply post/send me the URL, reference movie, or QTL.
When the movie goes to iMovie, the brightness decreases and the contrasts became more darkness.
Have you tried playing with the built-in "Video Adjustments" at all? Not the easiest thing to use but you can make some adjustments using it. In such work, "Less is usually best." By this I mean you should apply as little adjustment as you can get away with using.
Normally I would start with a "Level" adjustment. While there is an "Auto" button you can press to get some idea as to what the application says you need for a particular frame or range of frames, this setting can vary drastically depending on the individual frame being tested. So it would usually be a good idea to expand your clip and "test" a number of frame ranges to see what is a "typical" setting for the clip. If the settings are fairly uniform, you can go with the suggested setting or something reasonably close to save "blowing out" highlights. On the other hand, if the settings vary drastically, you my either wish to select an "in-between" setting of your own manually, or split the clip into sub-segments which can then be adjusted individually. NOTE: the auto "Level" adjustment does not affect other settings -- only the clipping points and does not include controls for half or quarter tone adjustments. Still it is my preferred starting point for making adjustments.
You can also try adjust the "Exposure" setting. This will tend to allow you to adjust the "Brightness" and "Contrast" uniformly by centering your color channel histogram but can easily be overdriven. "Brightness" and "Contrast" can, of course, be adjusted individually if you prefer but you may find the "Exposure" control easier to handle where the content is more uniform with regard to shadows and highlights. Lastly, adjustment of any of the previously mentioned controls will usually have some effect on color saturation. While they do not change the actual setting, they do tend to desaturate color as the other controls "lighten" the cast of your frame images. So, don't be surprised if the results "wash out" somewhat and you may need to touch up the saturation. But, once again, go easy as the saturation doe not increase uniformly and tends to "blotch" highlights and/or create color shifts in these areas.
About the only controls left are the individual color channel levels. I don't normally recommend playing with these arbitrarily as they then to shift the color cast/white balance of your content. As to the White balance itself, the "eyedropper" had little or no effect on the content I tested so I assume the it either did not work as described or the sample white/grey points I used for sampling did not require adjustment. As to the Balance Wheel," it does work well but like the color channel adjustments may cause more harm than help most novice users.

Photos don't show up in iMovie

I have photos in events in iPhoto that don't show up when I try adding them in in iMovie. any idea what the problem is? I can see them as I look at them in iPhoto but I try putting them into iMovie and they are no where to be found. Help please! I am having DSO in which data is coming from cube .In transformation ( Cube --> DSO ) Rule Type EQ "Direct Assignment & Aggregation EQ 'Overwite' & there is no Start & End routine present .

Ideally when data flowing from cube to dso ,dso data should get overwrite if key field are same but in mine case quanity is getting added .I don't know please guide me .

      If you need different records in DSO as per your example (without adding the parent material) ,then load two different plant values in the InfoCube and see the result. For example , load Plant '100' and Plant '200' into your InfoCube first and then load these two records into your ODS. The records will not get aggregated and you will find two records in your ODS .But if you want only the last record,then you may need to write routine in your update rules.

Arrears amount not getting added to /559

Dear Experts,
We want to pay September’14 arrears, September’14 Leave Salary and October’14 salary to the employee.
In system arrears and leave salary is calculated correctly also wage types are displaying in payslip as well as in RT tabel.
But in T-code pc_payresult arrear and leave salary amount is not getting added to the /559.
Amount showing in /559 is only October’14 salary.
We have checked all the processing classes and cumulation classes for all the wage types.
Need your help to resolve this issue.

When talking about a Payroll problem, it is always useful to indicate what Country code is involved since Payroll may not work the same for all Countries.
Your screen capture does not enable us to identify what WTs cumulate in /101 (Total gross), but if I substract /110 (Net deductions) from it the result is nearly the sum of /559 (Payment), which looks OK (the difference may be a WT that does not cumulate in /101 but impacts /559).
Use t-code PC00_M99_DLGA20 to confirm if WTs 1003 and 4003 cumulate in /101.
Are WTs 1003 and 4003 considered "Information WTs" for payments that must be done at a later date?

Is it possible to set up a form with a submit button where the data in the fields gets added to an existing excel file, just like 'collect response' but without connecting to the internet?

I have a form that I want to use to collect peoples information with a submit button. I am trying to get the data that gets inserted to be added to an existing excel doc when the submit button gets hit, the form then resets and someone else can fill in the same form, hit submit and his data gets added to the existing data in the same excel doc. It is basically the same as the 'collecting response' option but without having to be online. The form is going to be used at a boat-show and I am going to get people to fill it out on an iPad. Does anybody know if this is possible?

I am afraid that you have mixed the WCF and WCF Data Service, here is a WCF Service example(it works with the Entity Framework while it is not WCF Data Service):

If you want to write a custom method in WCF Data Service, you could refer to this link:
