Khmer Font support

Hi there
We have a request to allow our plant in Cambodia to print all invoices with the delievery details in their local language.
I have installed the LIMONS TTF font via SE73 , incl the RTF information & have successfully printed off a few tests to a Laser Printer.
The issue is with trying to print to an Epson Dot Matrix printer.
We have been assured by the supplier that the EPSON LQ-300 +II can print the LIMONS font.
In SE73 -> Printer Fonts -> ZEPESCP9 device type  i have added the LIMONS family font, but i am not sure what Print Controls i need to insert. I am aware the PrtCtl.1 is for Portrait & PrtCtl.2 is landscape. The client will only be pinting in portrait mode so therefore PrtCtl.1 should be all thats specified.
I am also not sure if i need to load an AFM file ? if so, how is this done ?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi everybody here, i would like to know if it is possible to add a additional font into an iPod? Since there is no official Khmer font for Mac, iPod and iPhone. In iPhone and iPod touch, in order to display this font we have to install a package.
    Windows 7 officially able to display Khmer font without the need of third party software.

    No, you cannot add anything at all to an iPod except what you find in the iTunes app store, and no fonts are available there.

  • Unicode Khmer font display problems in FrameMaker 10?

    How do I get Khmer OS or any unicode Khmer font to display properly in FrameMaker 10?
    I am working with cambodian files in FrameMaker 10.
    This is what it looks like in Word (this is how it should look)
    This is how the same texk looks in FrameMaker 10...
    The font is NiDA Chenla and I was able to fix this is ID CS5.5 by turning on the World-Composer.
    Is there something similar in FrameMaker 10.

    Probably spread and stretch option in Character designer might get if fixed for as i dont know the language,i am assuming the language is ok and the only problem is the spacing between them.
    If yes,kindly goto character designer and change the spacing between them.

    Language support is outside of Captivate. As long as you have the font installed in your system, it will work in Captivate.

    I have a pdf file which has Hindi fonts. I want to convert into Microsoft Excel. I checked with online customer support and they told me I can download Adobe Acrobat X. But I understand they do not have Hindi fonts support.
    I do have font Arial Unicode MS Regular on my machine
    Kindly advice which is best way to do it

  • IOS Asian font support for apps?

    In iOS 6, Apple removed support for Asian fonts needed for pdfs whose Asian fonts are not actually embedded in the files. 
    Does anyone know if there is an app in the App store that contains these fonts that would make them available for other applications to use?  Or would that be considered a change to the OS and not be allowed?
    For myself, resaving these PDFs to embed the fonts is not a viable option - I have 2,000 of them on my iPad and not only is that more work than is worth, but it increases the size of each file by a factor of 10.   Not only that but they open a lot slower (I tried it on one or two of them).  It's a terrible idea if one has a lot of files.
    I'm looking into other manufacturers' tablets to replace my iPad to see if they h, but if I can find an app that will let me keep my pad for the purpose for which I bought it, that would be even better.

  • Khmer unicode script (font) support

    I hope this is the right place to post this such question.
    I found that Photoshop CS5 still does not support cambodian (khmer) unicode writting script. It does not display well the subconsonent.
    Any of you know if it exists the patch to resolve this kind of problem ?

    The Middle East version of Photoshop is the one that handles Khmer.
