Khols Charge Card Problem

Applied online for Khols Charge Card. Got approved for $300 line. Got account number emailed and able to make first purchase. I wait til the next day and make a purchase online utilizing 80% of credit. Order goes through. The following morning get an email saying order has been cancelled and call a 1-800 #. I call and they say they need me to walk into a store in person to verify myself with a Khols Employee before my account is unlocked **bleep**? I login online at Khols Charge website and see my info changed it shows some other *bleeps name **bleep**?!? His address too!?! Who the hell and why is his info put as the cardholder? On the application I put MY info? Why has stupid Khols people changed my **bleep**? Already contacted Social Security Department and had them run my SSN for possible Identify Theft/Fraud...Agent told me all my info is fine and secure and had me answer all sorts of verifying info, did as told and assured me my SSN only report my info and my name. Amen!

Had my Walmart online account hacked last year they tried to get me for 1K on my Discover card I had saved to the profile, was pretty stupid to use their own name and address the fuzz were called and they were arrested. If you dont get your card within 10 days I would be canceling it and requesting another be sent to your address.I would strongly suspect your computer has been compromised, and the perp obtained your account log-in info right after the account was opened and attempted to steal your account. Go into Khols and get this account shut down immediately as it has *clearly* been compromised. Take your computer to a professional to have it given a thorough once over for possible malware/rootkit infection.

MacBook Pro 15" video card problems (i think)

Can anyone tell me if this is indeed a video card problem?

Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB

This is what happened:
I use my mbp heavily because I edit a lot of videos with Premiere. I also use lightroom / photoshop alot + games. I also installed Parallels desktop late 2013. I don't know if that is relevant but anyway. Everything started late 2013 (a little after installing parallels actually) when there are moments when the audio wouldn't work and I couldn't adjust the volume. It would come back anyway so i didn't mind it. Then the fans were on high speed for little activity. After that the keyboard backlight couldn't be adjusted and wouldnt work. I ignored all of these cuz i wasn't troubling me at the time. In January i left for france to study - I use bike all the time and once stupidly placed my laptop on the basket going to school (rough roads). I had a class with html so I had to open Parallels, my teacher pointed out the fans and how loud they were. That day, parallels desktop said i must upgrade to windows 9 or it will restart every 2hours. I didn't of course. I didn't have time to.
After that (a few days later i think) my laptop would randomly turn into a black screen but it's still on (the power LED is on) I tried turning it off by pressing down the power button and then turning it back on. It worked the first time. During the first week, the frequency of it happening grew. It would do it almost 3 times a day. during that same week I tried to do an SMC reset. It fixed the keyboard light, fans and audio but not the black screen thing. It just keeps on happening around 1-3 times a day. It only happens when I'm using it btw, never when I just leave it. ALSO, after a few days, it would take longer hours to open my mbp again. I mean, the screen would turn black. i would turn it off, then on again. I will ONLY hear the hard drive moving but no startup sound and no grey screen and apple logo. nothing.
The following weeks after that, I asked a friend to help me out. He suggested that I install gfxCardStatus because he said it might be my video card. He instructed that I keep it on intergrated only. So I installed that and did what he said I thought it worked for a while because the black screens stopped happening (even when gfx keeps on going back to dynamic) BUT NOW, MY LAPTOP WOULD FREEZE (not turn black). I'd shut it down using the power button but it still takes me hours to open it again. Sometimes, I'd wait for the battery to drain because it would startup when i charge it (sometimes)
I tried doing AHT as well to confirm the video card problem, but the results are no problems found. I really don't want to replace my logicboard here in france. everything is more expensive here. ;__;
Today I uninstalled parallels to see if that might have had anything to do with my problem now but i think that's just wishful thinking.
Can somebody tell me if this is really about the video card? Thank you

Your appointment at the genius Bar in an Apple Store (anywhere in the world) for an evaluation is FREE, in warranty or out. Those guys put their hands on these Macs all day every day, and they are especially good at Physical and Power problems.

I solved my credit card problem

..adobe couldn't charge my monthly payment today because of my credit card problem..and my membership changed to non-payment membership...my credit card problem solved now....how can i change my membership to payment membership again..

I would just like to add Romit's reply that you can try this & check if it works,
1. Sign out & sign back in to CCapp (desktop).
2. Launch any product, it will throw a prompt to renew the subscription, at the bottom an option of "license this software" will be displayed.
3. Please click on this & it will ask you to sign in & the subscription should be activated.
Note:The process works when the subscription is active & payment transaction has been completed.

Charge cards' effect on FICO

I recently got my first charge cards and am a bit confused as to how they will affect my credit. I understand that only a few types of FICO scoring factor in charge card utilization. So does that mean I should pay off most of my bill right before my statement closes so that a small balance is reported?
Or should I charge up a lot on my first statement so that my "limit" will be that high utilization from the first month and every month after that have it be a small amount so that it's a low utilization?
Any advice on how to best affect my credit would be appreciated!

Nokia C7 Insert Sim Card Problem

Hi All, I applied for the AMEX Everyday Card last thursday and got denied. I called the recon line and my app was sent again hoping it gets approved this time. Most likely i will not be getting the card. My questions are: 1. How likely am I to get a charge card (i heard is easier). I pay in full every month2. If i decide to go for it, how long should i wait? I want to get my cards out of the way so my HPs fall by 2017 Income = $61kCredit Karma Scores = EQ708, TU693, EX708CH7 d/c 10/2010Inquiries = TU2 (2 credit cards from May2015 approved), EQ7, EX7

It seems that Adobe still cannot master its credit card processing system for subscriptions given the number of complaints in the Forums but still will not offer a Direct Debit system except in Germany.
Direct Debits are would be easier to manage for Adobe and more secure for the subscriber. Remember that recurring payment agreements on credit card are difficult to either cancel and/or retrieve payments claimed in error by the trader (confirmed to me by Visa last week). So I will not subscribe to CC until the risk of Adobe's credit card system go away, until a time limit can be put of credit card contracts or until Adobe offers its Direct Debit system more widely.
(I also note that it seems that Adobe restricts comments made on credit card problems to its own staff.)

I solved that with a pay pall account.
you can make there a account with your credit card and pay then for that app.
But dont forget to check your credit card bill. they can charge you for trying to buy the app.
I have buy 3 times for one app without receiving it.

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

after a restart it works for a time, but always slow. I went to the Applestore this afternoon and the made a check and said it would be the logicboard and they would have to change it for CHF 600 and it would be ready in 10 - 15 days

The number itself may be fine, check all of the other details that you've entered match those on your statement.

Credit Card problem

Hi,
Due to to the Adobe securety problem, I requested a new credit card from my card provider and updated the payment details 24th of October.
The card was debited by Adobe the 25th, but still, I get a warning when I start a CC app stating that there is a problem with the payment and CC will stop wotking in 13 days. Adobe has recieved my money so please fix this asap.
I have been in contact with Chat-support two time, but no help from them

After many,many, many hours of trying I was finally not refused when trying to connect to your payment server (as a first time buyer). So I was asked for my credit card details for the purchase of an application - which I stated. But when I tried to confirm the purchase, my VISA card was refused twice due to "Credit card error". As I know there is nothing wrong with my credit card, please tell me what to do in order to purchase applications from the ovi store. I don't want to pay many times over for an application which I never downloaded from OviStore. But I anyhow also tried my AmEx-card for the purchase of another app, but same "Credit-card" problem. To say that "I am not amused" with my OviStore experience so far must be the understatement of the century.

Restart your MacBook and hold down on the "d" key for "diagnostics". This will startup the MacBook into the Apple Hardware Test. Run the extended tests. Let's see if you don't get an error when it checks the video system.

How do I look up what an iTunes charge is that was listed on my charge card bill?

My charge card bill shows an iTunes charge with no details. The bill gives a number to call. That number indicates to go to www.apple.com/support/cc which I did but got nowhere. There was no selection for signing in with my id or way to find billing detail. I found a phone number on this page and called it. I called this and was referred to www.apple.com/support/iTunes. Again no clear navigation path to get billing information. APPLE you need to do better than this for customer service!!!

If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases..
