Kicked out of things....

I have an iPad 2..... When I am in safari or even some of the apps, why do I get "kicked out"? I goes to my home screen. Gets very frustrating when you are trying to read something!

Welcome to the user to User Technical Support Forum provided by Apple.
2 Suggestuions:
1) Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)

• User kicked out of PS when running Query to excel

Hi,
Just to note, I am actually a developer and doesnt know a thing about configurations or any PS tech admin knowledge regarding installation and setting up Psoft. So please be patient with me since im starting this just now and only starting to gain knowledge in this are.
Just to give an overview, currently we are supporting US psoft and I am located in malaysia tranferring the servers here at our end. we are on UAT right now and having trouble with the psoft application itself and from I see it, it can be caused by how it is installed. Because the US env (server in US) is working perfectly but the M'sia env are having errors (server in M'sia). Just to remind that its the same env only installed in different location, you can call it parallel testing if you like.
Now with the problem, when the user tries to run a query in the Query manager and doing "run to excel", the user gets kicked out of PeopleSoft online and giving just the literal "Error" message. And when I look at the PSQRYSRV dump file (just learned it yesterday), can't really understand what it says. I try googling it but to no success.
Does anybody can help me with this? TIA!

• Why was I kicked out of my FireFox Sync and asked to change my password?

I logged into my Desktop PC and found that I had been kicked out of my FireFox Sync account. The strange thing is I don't recall changing my password, in fact I had to log in with my laptop and change the password and then link the desktop and laptop again. I had not turned that PC on in a week or two.
Was my account just used by someone else and they changed the password or did something else happen? Please help, I am worried. This occurred about a week or two ago and I didn't make a screenshot of it.

Type '''about:sync-log''' in the URL bar and hit Enter; on the device where you received that "password" message.
Review the date on the logs, and view the log which relates to the time that you received that message.

• My iPad keeps kicking out of an app. How do I stop this?

How do I stop my iPad from kicking out of an app while I'm using it. Like while I'm playing Angry Birds it will kick back to my main screen.

I have the original iPad & have been having the same issue for weeks nowb I am really getting frustrated.
At first I thought maybe it was just the app & I needed to update it.
-- Nope. Not it. Not only did it not show up as 1 of the apps that needed an update, but it started happening to alot of my apps. Nothing worse than finally beating a level of your game & having it suddenly quit & lose everything.
Then I thought maybe I didn't have the right IOS.
-- Nope. Not it. I've checked in my settings & it says I have the latest (5.1.1). Still not convinced, I plugged into my laptop to sync & hope there was an update. Nope. Says I have the latest version.
Then I think it's a memory thing. So I start going thru & deleting apps I don't really use anymore.
-- Nope. No help. Turns out I'm not even using half my available memory.
So I start researching what the Internet says latest IOS is. I find out it says the latest iPad operating version is IOS 6.
-- I get excited because I think I found the reason. Nope! Turns out that the original iPads can't update to the IOS 6. :( They can't go higher than the 5.1.1 that I already have. Now I'm really not happy.
I decide to google my problem & see if I'm the only one this is happening to.
-- Nope! I find this is happening to a lot of people. I see all the different advice: clear the app tray, restart your iPad, check your memory... Though I'm grateful for people trying to help, none of it works. :(
I am really getting frustrated!!!! It's taken everything I have to not throw the dang thing off a balcony. I can't really enjoy doing anything on it anymore. Almost every game I get into, it randomly quits. Especially aggravating when it's a game that has limited play.
I really hope Apple fixes this!!!! I love Apple & all my gear is Apple products. But I don't really have the funds to just drop money on a newer one that does actually work. My iPad is still in perfect shape in every other way. I really can't afford to just go out & buy one because they don't want to give us a functioning updated operating system.
APPLE, please help!!!! I beg you!!!

Hello Cvillanueva2769
Start with the article below for iTunes crashing when using it or trying to sync. Try starting up iTunes in Safe Mode to see if does the same thing. You may need to remove iTunes and reinstall it as another troubleshooting option.

• My cd drive kicks out disks

Does anyone know how to stop my cd drive from kicking out disks?

A popular optical drive upgrade just now is the Pioneer 111D available from many online suppliers - for example
http://platinummicro.com/product.asp?pfid=DRWPO111BK&deptid=08-004
Upgrading the optical drive is a job you could probably tackle yourself - a bit fiddly, but not difficult - the Apple Official D-I-Y instructions are here
http://www.info.apple.com/usen/cip/pdf/g5/073-0807.pdf
I installed the very similar 110D in this ancient and venerable G5 DP 2 and it works like a charm. Couple of things to watch out for on the installation - mentioned here

• My Final Cut Studio Box disc package Icon disc will not load, kicked out by MAcBook...any advice...disc player works nothing wrong with it.

My Apple Mac Harddrive went for a real bust up about a month before my warenty expired...Apple repaired no problem...I had exstended warrenty...
but when the computer came back it was not the same...
I also did not have time untill now to start sorting through the mess, one of the things I am sorting.... is to get my Final Cut Studio Pro 7 up and running...
I bought the disk set (box) with the lap top, back when I first bought my MacBookPro, everything together ......I loaded the disks package onto the computer back then no problem and have had the disk in a cuboard since then.....
I tried to reload the package onto my computer but the first disc....the ICON disc just keeps getting kicked out....
without it I cannot load my Final Cut Package....
What should I do?

Glen South Africa wrote:
took my discs that I brought into the store, found an older computer that was capable of reading the discs, then they created a mirror image which they saved to file, they put this file on an external hard drive (memory stick) and then loaded it onto my computer.
FWIW, I've had malfunctioning optical drives that could play video DVDs, but not read installation DVDs…or able to read install disks for Apple apps, but not third party apps.
the disc version (Final Cut Studio Pro7) that was sold as a box set with everything included (motion/color and so on) is not realy supported by the newer Apple's as you now have to buy Final Cut X Online, download and pay for everything seprately.
It's true that Apple stopped supporting Final Cut Studio applications, but I don't know any reason why they shouldn't install and function with newer OS versions and Macs (as long as a working DVD drive can be connected).

• Firefox kicks out or hangs with inactivity of the mouse in few seconds is there an easy rememdy

if i walk away from my computer and come back my firefox seems to be in a loop or it kicks out, the screen turns white and it never refreshes only way is to restart it and go back in
really is a pain because firefox is my default browser and i like it better than all the rest

While logged into another admin account, delete the bad account, selecting the save data option, recreate the bad account using the same username/password combo, log out and back into the new account. If the problem's are solved, open the saved data dmg file in /Users/Deleted Users/, open the /Library/Preferences/ folder from the saved data, open the current /Users/restored account/Library/Preferences/ folder, and slowly copy plist files from the saved data folder to the current one that don't exist in it. Log out and back in to ensure there's no conflict and things still work correctly. Resolving conflicts or identifying corrupt plist files is a laborious process. Good luck.
See http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=4703015 for more details on this process.

• Users accessing Remote App are getting randomly kicked out.

In Event Viewer:
Check under
App and service logs\microsoft\windows\TerminalServices-LocalSessionManager/Operational
You should see why the sessions are being disconnected in that log.

So I have a Remote App of Quickbooks setup on my 2012 server. What we are noticing today is that people are getting kicked out their remote app sessions. They can immediately log back into the session though. I am thinking maybe I have a timeout set somewhere but cannot find it. No RD Gateway and no Group Policy settings governing RDP are set. This whole thing seems pretty random and cannot quite put my finger on what the culprit is. Has anyone seen anything like this before and can perhaps guide me in the right direction? It could just be first day hiccups as today is the first time we had a large group of people in the system like this but I am worried this will become an ongoing problem and would like to fix it now so we have no future headaches.

• What is wrong? reboot/install disk kicks out at restart/reboot of Mac

Can't figure out the problem, one day login worked fine and the next day blue screen stall (URGHHHH).. I've been troubleshooting all day starting off for the reason my iMac boots to the point of the blue screen and stalls and moveable cursor shows (the safemood works fine). I have been through all forums and Apple support and have tried everything and I mean everything to the point I am just ready to reinstall the system; BUT my disk kicks out at computer startup which makes the reinstall possible. Is there anyone that can tell me why my disk kicks out at the point of the grey screen with the apple and the spinner appears

Has this disk worked all right in the past?
Are there any bad scratches on the DVD that you can see?
How old is your iMac? I ask because sometimes old optical drives, treat disks erratically.
Supposing this hardware is OK. If you look at this page (linked below), you'll see various things that occur in safeboot which proves it is doing (or not doing) some things that are preventing you from starting normally.
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1564
Have you installed extra fonts recently, or new software that may have added itself to the numerous startup item locations scattered around your Mac?
It can get rather technical I know.
If you do not have an external bootable backup, you could try using
FireWire target disk mode if you have another Mac around, and using it and your Install DVD, reinstall your OS that way.
Essentially it entails putting your DVD in the other Mac, and selecting your troublesome machine's HD for the reinstall.
Not a solution, but perhaps a next step, spares Macs permitting.

• Safari won't open my gmail because of "too many redirects". I was in my gmail account and was forwarding an e-mail at the time I was "kicked out" of my gmail and then saw the screen about too many "redirects".

I was in my gmail and forwarding a message when I was "kicked out" because the screen stated that there had been "too many redirects". I am technically deficient and don't know what that means. I tried to reset Safari but that did not correct the problem. How would I fix this to be able to access gmail? Thank you.

• Since I upgraded my Ipad2 with IOS6, i keep getting kicked out of Safari after I am in the middle of looking for something and on Ebay it continually kicks me back to the first item if I click to see a picture, say after I am 150 items down. Even CNN too

Since I upgraded my Ipad2 to IOS6, I keep getting kicked out of Safari after I am in the middle of searching for something. Also, Ebay kicks me back to first item if I click on an item, say number 153 or 642! Very annoying. Even CNN kicked me out back to Ipad home screen last night! How do I make it stop???

My question is this:
What is the best way of getting the pictures out of the iPhoto Library? I
Select the photos you want out and export them as JPGEs - kind = current for the current edited version - kind = original for the original
f I get access to the original folders within the library by right-clicking any photo and then being able to browse inside the library, am I going to have any problems if I copy or move those original pictures directly to a folder outside of the iPhoto Library?
Copying photos out will not be a problem if you make no errors - for me that is not a good bet - it is best to stay out of yoru iPhoto library
Would it be better to export the pictures?
Yes
Does exporting using "current" under "Kind" give you the original more safely?
No - it gives you the current version which may be the original if no changes have been made or will be the current edited version if edits ahve been made
Also, any suggestions on how to best have photos OUTSIDE of an iPhoto library organized so that iPhoto can reference them, but your backup is also organized?
In the iPhoto preferences un check the advanced preference to "copy imported items to the iPhoto library"
HOWEVER - this is not recommended - it makes importing more complicated, deleting more complicated and makes replacing a hard drive or going to a new computer much more difficult - and it puts you totally in charge of your original photos - being sure that they are there and do not get moved
I'd like to have my photos organized by date in the backup as well, so that I don't have to backup all my pictures every time I add new ones, just add the latest to the backup drive.
Finally, any suggestions on what to do with pictures that you scan so that they appear by the date they were taken as opposed to the date they were scanned? Is there a way to modify the date of the photo info?
Select the photos in iPhoto and use the batch change command under the photos menu - the tiem and date option

• Getting kicked out of the CS

Hi there,
Something started to happen today... when you login the content server... and you go to folders and click on the link of the folder... you're kicked out... that's right, back to the login screen just like that. Then you login again, go to the folders again, click on the same folder link as before and it works. (OK, actually it doesn't have to be a folder.. it can be some random link in the content server, I just clicked Contribution Folders link on the menu tray and kicked me out)
Every time you click on one you haven't clicked before you're kicked out.. but it's as if it were caching it and next time you login you can access it no problem.
Anyone that might want to have a guess on this?
EDITED OK, I compared the headers for the two situations and this is what I found:
REQUEST THAT GETS ME KICKED OUT:
Cookie: IdcAuthorization=user:blah=:blah:pno; IdcLocale=English-US; IdcTimeZone=America/New_York; IntradocLoginState=
VS
REQUEST THAT WORKS:
Cookie: IdcAuthorization=user:blah=:blah:pno; IdcLocale=English-US; IdcTimeZone=America/New_York; IntradocLoginState=; JSESSIONID=blah:-1
So... the bold part is missing.. what is taking care of the IntradocLoginState? I'm not even getting the ";" (semi-colon) of IntradocLoginState and whatever is happening there is apparently causing my JSESSION to disappear therefore kicking me out.
