Kickstarting my podcast again after inactivity

My church has a podcast series of sermons we have in the iTunes store. Here's some links:

It was pointed out to me a couple of days ago that the podcast hasn't updated in ages - Sep 14, 2008 was the last one on the feed. That's a problem on my end that's been resolved, and I'm slowly working to restore all the ones that have come since then.
However, since it's been inactive for slightly over a year, should I assume the iTunes store stopped looking? The feed was valid at that point (still is), but given there was nothing new in a year, I figured they'd stopped looking.
About two days ago I started manually putting the old entries in the feed, and as I write this, the feed is current into May of 2009 (will get caught up in the next couple of days).
Anyway, the iTunes store is still showing Sep 14, 2008 as the most recent, even though you can subscribe and get the more recent ones. I've used the ping link a few times (both by URL & FeedID), and it's still on the old one.
Any idea if I need to do anything more than the ping to kickstart it? I was figuring perhaps the long period of no new episodes in the feed caused a problem.

It's just a matter of waiting. The iTunes Store does remove podcasts that haven't been updated for a long time, but if they do this they will email you, and the podcast will disappear altogether from the Store. As yours is evidently still there it should update: but several people have complained today that it's taking a lot longer than usual. You should find it will catch up, but it may take some days. Your feed looks fine.

Firefox installation made my power saver function misfire - the system goes down after a few minutes of inactivity but then comes right back on again after a few seconds.

My power management scheme: turn off monitor after 2 min of inactivity; turn off hard discs after 5 min of inactivity. doesn't work reliably anymore. Usually, with Firefox installed, the system powers down after the preset times but then comes right back on again after a few seconds. If I restart the machine, my selected power management scheme works properly for a few cycles but then reverts to the mode of turning back on after a few seconds after having shut down.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions. 
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks.

Podcasts corrupted after sync?

I've been having a problem where my iPhone podcasts seem to be corrupted in some way after I sync my phone. When I look at my list of podcasts, many of them don't display their running time, and can't be fast-forwarded/rewound when they're being played back. Instead of a time, the following is displayed: "--:--" (where it would normally be something like "45:23".
Note that when I download a podcast directly on the iPhone and DON'T sync, everything behaves as usual. I've experienced this issue across multiple versions of iTunes, and even between iPhone OS 3 and iOS4. Any suggestions/workarounds?

Same problem here. When syncing my iPhone 3GS with iTunes on my PC Win Vista 32-bit, the sync completes, but nothing changes on my phone-iPod.
However, when downloading directly to my phone not using my PC-iTunes, everything is fine until I sync again - after syncing my iPod is empty again.
No error messages whatsoever. Sometimes it says that some Podcasts are corrupted, but sometimes again they are ok?!
iTunes diagnostics says everything is ok.
I don´t get anything into my iPod, not even music.
Grateful for any help ... out there?

Podcasts lost after each iTunes restart.

I have posted this in the general forum but I think I'd repost here since it's better placed. Sorry for the repost.
Every time I open iTunes, I've lost all my podcasts. They're there, on the hard drive, but iTunes seems to "forget" that has those subscriptions. I have to manually add the folder to recover the podcasts, plus hit "subscribe" again after that to have the podcasts updated.
This has been happening since 7.3 and now with 8 still happens. I tried to manually add the folder as instructed in some threads but it does not help. Can you guys help?

I finally figured it out myself. My "Podcasts" directory under the iTunes folder had a problem with permissions that would make it read only
It had actually gotten corrupted, not allowing even the machine administrator to set ownership or change rights. After a few hours of messing with it, a chkdsk /f made the folder disappear so I could clean reinstall and keep my podcasts.
Anyways, I just thought I'd share in case somebody experiences a similar problem.

How do I get it to just play through all the podcasts that I've downloaded just like my 1st gen?
Group and order your podcasts to a playlist. Then play them from the playlist.

On visiting the store we get only one reply you may write to Apple directely. we have the similar kind of problem with iPad which is being used by my wife Mr.Neelam Vij and paid Rs.16000/- to get it replaced within a year & 6months use. so in totality we have paid Rs.28500/- + Rs. 3000/- diagnostic charges.

Moreover, we have no information to contact whom. even the replace set has a warranty of only three month which further confirm that Apple itself is not confident wheather product will last after replacement for more then three month. Go to iTunea>Preferences>Devices and see if there is a backupright at the time you did the update. Then try restoring from that backup. If the apps are in your iTunes library, any app data will be restored to the iPod.
When restoring from an iOS 4 (or later) backup, if the device had a passcode set, iTunes will ask if you want to set a passcode (and remind you that you had protected your device with a passcode). iTunes will not ask you to set a passcode when restoring from iOS 3.x and prior backups.
Therefore, remembe the passcode that you enter this time.
It appears that if you restore from a backup, that backup is not subseqyently overwritten by the next backup.

If you have iOS 5 installed on it, you don't need a PC. simply turn it on and set it up.
if you don't have iOS 5 then you'll need a computer.

HFS File system with case sensitive is not accepted to install creative cloud? Is there any other way but install the whole MacOS again after formatting the drive. I cannot belief that Adobe is so bad to it's Mac customers..

After many hours setting up OS10.10 from he scratch the last step should be installing m Adobe apps again.
trying this I always get the error message that creative cloud does not accept case sensitive file systems and I shall use another drive.
This means I have to set up the whole machine again after formatting without case sensitive but then having copy problems with my NAS?
I cannot belief that Adobe is really demanding this. If so this would show how urgent this market need alternatives and some more competition...

I have Iphone4 brought from at&t USA(carrier locked) and i am in india now, i contacted at&t and requested for an unlock for me to use with indian carriers.
I got an email confirming the unlock has been completed from at&t and asked me to connect the device to itunes and do a back&restore, after the restore process i get an error message on itunes "your request cannot be processed, please try again after sometime" i tried it with my airtel sim card and also at&t sim card but did not work. Excuse me. I am on a contract with O2 with an iphone 4s, suddenly xmas day it said "no service", took it to o2 who sent it to apple factory who refused to repair it because a screw missing. I wouldnt know have never opened phone in my life,wouldnt know how to, then went direct to Apple Regent St London who also said "screw missing, warrenty void, then produced a phone just out of contract due to upgrade,a vodaphone carrier 3gs, it was unlocked but then told by apple the owner had to go to vodaphone and get it unlocked on their books which could take up to 48 hours, it is now 72 hours later and i have the same error despite backing up old phone with i tunes and i cloud,am very angry and am paying alot for a contract every month, all i can see is "no service and waiting for activation" and all ths started when I upgraded to IOS 6.Am extremely upset and still under warranty but no one seems to want to help me to connect to WiFI, i cannot keep going to Apple Regent Street at lunchtime and be shooed of with excuses, this replacement phone 3gs should work and it doesnt. 1. Quit ADE.
2. Choose Start > Run.
3. In the Open text box, type regedit and then press Enter. The Registry Editor opens.
4. In the left pane of the Registry Editor, locate the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept
5. Right-click the Adept key and choose Delete.
6. In the Confirm Key Delete dialog, click OK.
Your authorization will be deleted.
ADE will be deauthorized now.
Now Authorize ADE again.

Photo albums messed up again after update

Once again, after an iOS update, the last 12 months and last imported photos albums showed up on the phone even though the boxes are not checked in iTunes before or after those updates.
As the with last time, the only way to remove those two albums was to sync an older iPhoto library, then re-sync the current iPhoto library as a replacement.
That clears the two, unwanted albums, but why have the last two iOS updates cause this problem?

Hi,
I think the easiest way to fix this is go into iTunes and rename all the tracks in your "Greatest Hits" albums with unique album names, e.g "Black Lace Greatest Hits" and "Greatest Hits - The Sweet" etc. You can even be as subtle as just adding a "." or hyphen or extra space, it will make the name different and your Touch will be able to distinguish different albums.
The Albums should then sort them selves out after a synch.

u can do it in chanin end chain.
