Kies available for Verizon Galaxy S4?

I recently discovered Kies and loaded it to my PC.  It works just fine via USB, but during my education process, I discovered there is something called Kies Air that I thought was supposed to be on the phone already (Galaxy S4).  I cannot, however, find it anywhere.  I followed the Samsung Galaxy S4 manual, but it's not there.  I am on Verizon and my Android version is 4.3.  I have searched the forum and found at least one post that said they no longer had Kies Air after upgrading to 4.3.  I've also looked on the Samsung site and cannot find anywhere to download it.
Any suggestions/comments?

Thank you for the info, but the "Download App" link directs me to Google Play,
and the app is not there.

  • Available for verizon or others?

will the iphone ever be available for verizon or different companies?

One, the US is much larger than the UK and it takes time and money to deploy a 3G system over 4 million square miles compared to 93,000 square miles in the UK.
True, the USA has huge amounts of land with few people in it, but you can cover over 100 million people within an area of only about 35,000 square miles.
Two, most of the cell phones in the US are not flip phones.
The top three sellers are flip phones. Two RAZRs and the LG VX8300.
Three, MMS is more of a teenage/young adult thing in the US.
Yes, and an old thing. IIRC, surveys show that people between 25 and 55 are the least likely to use MMS because they were raised on email alone.

  • When will the iphone be available for Verizon?

I know the iphone only currently works with At&t but does anyone know when it will be available for use on Verizon?

Then what was Job's announcement about a month ago that he was going to make it available for other networks in February?
Sorry but you misunderstood this announcement that you are referring to since it means nothing of the kind.
What Apple is releasing in February for the iPhone is an iPhone SDK which is short for Software Developers Kit for 3rd party software development for the iPhone.
This has nothing to do with the iPhone being available on other networks which can't occur for the next 5 years which is the length of Apple's contract with AT&T to be the exclusive provider for the iPhone in the U.S. Regardless, the iPhone is a GSM phone which means it can be used on GSM networks only. Not only is AT&T the largest network provider in the U.S. by the number of subscribers, they are the largest GSM network provider in the U.S. GSM networks dominate the overall worldwide market by a significant margin and even if Apple made the iPhone available for other network, the only other major GSM network provider in the U.S. is T-Mobile.
Verizon, Sprint and Alltel have a CDMA network and the iPhone is not compatible with such networks. This would require Apple producing a CDMA iPhone in addition to the current GSM iPhone which I don't believe is likely even after Apple's 5 year contract with AT&T expires.

  • When will the Galaxy S5 mini be available through Verizon?

I'm looking to replace my Razr M, but don't want a huge phone.  The S4 mini is dated - any thoughts as to whether the Galaxy S5 mini might be available through Verizon?

        Rollerdawg,
Happy to help with your search for a new phone! Are you currently eligible for an upgrade? You can check your eligibility by dialing #UPG from your device.
The Galaxy S5 is definitely a good question, but there isn't currently any information out right now.  We have the Samsung Galaxy S5 along with many other great devices available that you can view here; http://bit.ly/nD0WuY .  Let us know if you have any other questions.

  • When will IOS 4 be available for the Verizon CDMA iPhone 4?

When will IOS 4 be available for the Verizon CDMA iPhone 4?

There is no way to know such a thing unless Apple announces, which they very rarely do and speculation/rumor is not allowed here.
Keep checking for updates in itunes or watch the forum.
Someone will begin complaining about it within seconds of its release.

  • Verizon Safeguards "Not available for this cell phone number"

I just learned from your support rep, that Verizon Safeguards service does not work with the iPhone!.  Under my Services under Verizon Safeguards, I get the following message: "Not available for this cell phone number".  You gotta be kidding me Verizon...really.
I want to be able to use Verizon Safeguards and block calls a txt from specified numbers, like I have with every other phone I've had with Verizion!
PLEASE, ADD SUPPORT FOR THE iPHONE.

This is apparently a known issue, there are a few other threads on here. But I had a chat on here with a Verizon rep who said that they personally had numbers blocked on their iPhone4 and that it had to be done through Customer Care, which if you log on to MyVerizon, the number is under Support --> Contact Us. Who knows if it actually works.

    Hello,
At this time, one can stream about 75 live TV channels  from the iPad, Xbox 360, LG Smart TV, and Samsung Smart TV.
From the iPad, this is through the 'FiOS Mobile' app from the App store.
For a list of channels available for Live TV on the aforementioned devices, you can go to either:
http://www22.verizon.com/home/livetv and select the link 'See available channels'
    OR
http://www22.verizon.com/home/fiostv/features#connect and select the link 'your favorite TV channels'.
Keep in mind that you have to be subscribed to the selected TV channel in your FiOS TV package in order to watch that channel live.
Also, as PJL has mentioned, the live TV streaming would work only if connected to your residential home network.
Lastly, if you'd like to submit the suggestion to include international channels to live TV streaming on the iPad (and other devices), you can do so via Verizon Idea Exchange.
Suggestions for any Verizon service/product/offering on the internet, telephone or TV can be made in the 'Idea Exchange' section of the Verizon Community Forums where it'll be noticed more by other Verizon community members as well as Verizon employees who can bring up individual ideas to the appropriate teams.
Also, forum members can vote on the posted idea for greater emphasis.

  • LG G3 (Verizon) - Not Available for Shipping

When will the LG G3 (Verizon) be available to order online (not store pickup)?
It is available for all other providers, but the Verizon models show "Not available for shipping."

    Hi TheSD2,
Thanks for your inquiry about the LG G3, specifically on Verizon.
I’ve reviewed the information on BestBuy.com, and I see what you’re referring to about the availability of this phone on the different cellular providers. There are a few factors that could play a role in why shipping wouldn’t be available for one specific provider, such as Verizon. Product constraints and availability are the more common reasons for this. My best suggestion would be to keep an eye on BestBuy.com for any changes.
Please let us know if you have any other questions and thanks again!

  • V4.5 device software NOT available for 8830 verizon??? WHY

Can someone help me understand why the v4.5 Device software is not available for the 8830 world phone? This one of Blackberry's top phone and they're not going to make this available for their customers!!!!  That ridiculous!  Is there a work around???
    HELP

I have explained why here :
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?board.id=8300&thread.id=6807&jump=true
meaning : Verizon US is lagging behind the others including Latin American and Middle East carriers.

  • Hello, my device is Samsung GT-S5660. I am thinking that maybe you forgot to add it to the supported devices list. Because you support Samsung Galaxy series mobile phones. Will it be available for my phone soon?

Will firefox be available for Samsung GT-S5660(Galaxy Gio)?

The GT-S5660 is an ARMv6 phone Firefox requires an ARMv7 phone. The first Galaxy in that series with an ARMv7 support is the 9000.

  • Bluetooth broken on Verizon Galaxy Tab?

Is there a fix on the way for the Bluetooth functionality on the Galaxy Tablet?  It seems that with all other versions,(from other providers) it is possible to use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.  The Verizon Galaxy will not work with a Keyboard and Mouse at all.  This has been confirmed on many forums.
Is this just a mistake that will be corrected soon with an over the air update or should I consider a return to get a device from another company?  I can't imagine a good reason this would have been removed by Verizon.  All other vendors have it available so what is the story?

Hi, it doesn't seem as you say.  There is a discussion among a few users on Android forums and xda with a youtube video of  a Japanese tab was shown with a bluetooth mouse.  It was pathetically slow--you should wach it--and hilarious too.  It is a touchscreen device, lol.  I don't know if it is related to foreign or GSM versions but some reported eventual success with a Tmob version and there was one report of AT&T.  None for Sprint, I think.
I had a similar issue with Bluetooth voice acttivated dialing on Android--none!.  That was essential to me, but I got the Droid anyway. The feature wasn't added until Froyo.  Anyway what function do these accomplish better than touch or that you need?  To each his own.  Seems to defeat the purpose of a tab.  But if that is essential to you, you should shop around--It's interesting to note that that feature is not touted on any of the carrier's websites--there is no differentiation at all.  They all say 3.0 and none say HID.  But on Samsung's site, they vary.  TMob says 3.0, the other say "yes".

  • Verizon Galaxy Nexus LTE and the iPad

I had Unlimited Data on my VZW account and I have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus (which uses a microSIM)
Would I be able to pop my Nexus sim into the iPad and start using the data from my VZW account on my iPad?
I've swapped SIM's with other 4G phones (Thunderbolt SIM with a MiFi). I get service disruption ocassionaly but a quick reboot fixes it.
I assume that the disruption is caused by software issues on the MiFi or Verizon's LTE service.

Certainly not going to renew with Verizon and I'm in the same boat about jumping ship early.  Depending on the prices, specs, and manufactures of the next crop of Nexus devices will determine if and when I jump ship early.  Never again will I be on a cellular contract or use a locked phone.  Verizon may claim to have the best network, but the other networks are not nearly as bad as Verizon's handling of the Nexus.  The ** about the delays be caused by "extensive" testing sure did a lot of good for the Nexus. Shortly after launch day OTA for bug fixes and then 4.0.4 delayed for 5 months just to get a somewhat more usable radio set.  At least if a straight from Google Nexus has an issue you can expect it to be fixed in days or weeks, not months.

  • When will windows 8.1 be available for nokia phones

when will windows 8.1 be available for nokia phones?

I wish I had some way to give you hope but unfortunately you're definitely not the first person to ask this question.  VZW has made it clear that they aren't in the customer service business so we now must take matter into our own hands.  Write directly to the CEO.
You can contact Mr. Daniel S. Mead (CEO) by going to www.verizon.com/about/leader/contact/73.
Maybe if enough of us say something they'll try to at least pretend they appreciate our money.
