Killer E2200 Network Drivers NDIS 6.30

Any one else notice they can't run local network at 1.0 Gbps with the latest drivers (NDIS 6.30)? Only seems to work at 100 Mbps. Installed drivers that came with mb (NDIS 6.20) and working at 1.0 Gbps no problem.

Okay. I see the confusion. He is using the drivers that Svet recommended. Which are slightly newer than your own, but are also without the Killer Network Manager and must be installed manually. (10.0.1.263 for the Wireless and 8.0.2.42 for the e2200)
My issues with the wireless seemed to go away with Svet's drivers - which was essentially a newer download pinned to the forums of what Warner gave to you. He could give Warner's a try but they basically are the same. I assumed my issue didn't go away as I was having another BSOD issue that didn't exactly specify which device was causing the BSOD.
As for my issue - I have uninstalled the Logitech software and haven't had a crash within the past day and a half. I noticed the longer I have the laptop on, the more likely the BSOD. So, I am leaving it on all day playing games off and on.
I did notice that SetPoint does install software that is meant for keyboards. Simply because Logitech has a unified driver suite between their mice and keyboards able to use a single wireless dongle, eliminating the need to use one for each device. This could, in theory, be causing an issue with the MSI SCM. Most people think of the SCM as a control app, but it also installs a service (called Micro Star SCM) which handles event communication between several different driver packages/software. This is why when the SCM is uninstalled, the keyboard light manager fails to start up as well as Hybrid Power and a few other MSI apps. If uninstalling the Logitech software does work, then it could be that the keyboard manager in SetPoint is intercepting events that should be going to the SCM service.
If it crashes again, I will swap out the mouse itself. I'll update my thread on this issue on the next crash or in a few days if I have no further issues. I'm crossing my fingers and thanks for the tips.

  • Killer e2200 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.30) problem

Hi everyone, i had this problem since november:i had a gaming pc(specifics below) with a Killer e2200 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.30).The problem is that my pc disconnects every 30 min more or less, for a minute.I tried formatting my pc and installing windows 8.1 (before, i had win 7 home premium) but still nothing.I don't know where the problem could be, because other devices (smartphone, tablets adn also other pc) don't disconnect.
If you could help me, i'll give you other informations as much as i can.
    Thanks
i'm using a TP-LINK EXTENDER 300 Mbps which is connected with ethernet cable to my PC.It's an universal WI FI range extender.
EDIT: I posted this topic into "other MSI product"

    Other topic is removed
    >>Please read and comply with the Forum Rules.<<
WiFi does not use Killer network, and even though your device is connected through ethernet, it is still wireless. Might be that Killer NIC and your device (and its driver) cross over each other and cause random issues. Try standard Ethernet->Modem connection (straight 1m connection) and see if you get internet drops then too.

  • GT70 Killer e2200 gigabit ethernet controller (NDIS 6.30)

Hey guys I'm having a big problem with my internet connection.
Normally i have a downloadspeed of 100 Mb/s. It is so on my old laptop.
On my new MSI GT70 it only gets to 6 Mb/s...
I don't know why this is so, can it be cause of the killer e2200 driver?
Pls help me i don't know how to solve this
    SPEEDTEST FROM OKLA

    Hi,
try uninstalling Killer driver with suit. See if it solves the problem. If it does, then leave as it is, as Killer NIC is a bit terrible.
If uninstalling didn't help, then look here:  https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=178063.msg1286312#msg1286312

When the ISP connection goes down and return, sometimes, the network card is bugged.
Sometimes, using the Windows troubleshoting solves the problem.
    Symptoms of BUG
The router not respond the network card Killer e2200, and does not respond to any package.
If any audio is played during the bug, it is accompanied by the noise "pop-pop-pop-pop" that keeps repeating, at a rate of 2 Hz.
    Example(Wireshark images)
bugged - call Router and unresponsive
Normal - Call Router and Router respond
The only computer in my network, having problems with Router is Z97-GD65 GAMING.
The other 5 computers tested, and even smartphones NEVER had any problem with the router.
    workaround
    Reboot PC.
Before display the logo of Win7, the router recognizes the network Killer e2200.
    Solution attempts
    1) Update Bios
    2) Uninstall and reinstall Killer e2200 drivers
    3) Already changed the place of computers in the router output, and only MSI motherboard show this problem.
    Conclusion
The Z97-GD65 GAMING, for every connection fall of ISP,  the user needs to restart for the internet back up and running.
I was forced to restart 3 or 4 times per day, while the entire network operates normally.
The problem is occurring from the first day that I am using the Motherboard, and  delay this time to do all the tests to determine exactly what was happening.

    1) BIOS are flashed using MSI Live update 6.0.0.0
After the update, MSI Live Update presented some problems with Windows 7 64Bits, and I uninstalled it.

Functioned normally, but do not know if the problem is resolved.
    EPISODE 2
I downloaded the MSI LIVE new version 6.0.0.13, and test the updates.
The update "Killer Network Drivers (driver Only) 1.1.49.1048" create conflict in the Killer e2200 in Z97-GD65 GAMING.

  • New GE70, killer e2200 working with WIFI but not by cable

    Hi!
I bought a GE70 today and noticed that I can connect to the internet through WiFi but not with a network cable.
I've tried to upgrade drivers and such, but it still doesn't work. I've no router in this apartment so I'm using WiFi through my old laptop so I can figure this thing out.
    What I've done so far:
    1. Installed the drivers on the CD which I got with the computer. Although when on BigFoot LAN Driver, it says that I've already another version installed and need to uninstall it).
    2. Downloaded the drivers for the network card through MSI homepage and installed. Funny thing, after that not even the WiFi worked.
    3. Tried to unplug the power for the modem and wait a while and then plug it back in but that didn't work either.
    4. Figured it might've been something wrong with windows so I did a factory recovery but that didn't seem to help either.
All I get when I plug the cable in, I get the "Limited access" (yellow mark) on the LAN icon down in the right side corner.
Has anyone else gotten this problem?
    Kind regards,
    W

    Thank you for your reply.
I think I've got it sorted now. I tried another network cable and it works now.
It's weird however since the cable I've used for about a month now works with my old computer (Win7) but not with my new computer.
Gonna go to an electronic store later and see if it will make any difference if I buy a new cable.
Does the killer e2200 only accept certain sort of network cables?
    Thanks again.
    W
It really should work with any network cable to be honest, as long as it's not a PATCH cable. Patch cables are wired slightly differently, but they are rare anymore.

  • KILLER E2200 Gigabit issue. Do i need to RMA?

So i have just bought a new motherboard and processor (see specs below) and am getting a constant problem. These 2 items were brand new and my had no issue with my old motherboard.
    The issue:
Unidentified Network - As you can see from the images, i am constantly getting no internet connectivity even thought the cable has been detected.
    The Facts:
    - I know its nothing to do with my local network as my laptop connect to the internet with no trouble.
    - I have tried both, the default drivers/software off the disk, and the latest drivers/software off the msi website. I have also tried the standalone drivers without the software that have been provided on this website.
    - I have tried to use the auto repair feature and that just re-enables the controller with no luck.
    - I have used the killer cleaner and that does nothing either. I'm just left restarting my PC over and over again through a painful install process.
Now I'm left wondering if this is just a faulty motherboard or am i doing something wrong? PLEASE HELP!
Any information i thought you may need i have provided in images below. These are just to give you an idea of whats happening. If you need anything else please just ask
    Computer Specifications:
    OS - Windows 8.1
    CPU - i5 4670k @ 4.3ghz
    Motherboard - Msi z87 G43 GAMING
    Memory - 10gb DDR3
    Graphics Card - Msi r9 280x

I am faced with the exact same problem, my Killer e2200 chip has the latest driver from qualcomm.com (e2200 version 1.1.38.1281 x64 bit), running Windows 8.1 Pro x64 bit.
I am uncertain whether this is normal since I can access internet but trough a connection set up by me.
Probably because of this I do not benefit any killer e2200 features, for example my Killer Network Manager lacks the ''Killer Ethernet'' panel and resets settings I make to default after restart or shutdown.
Here are the ''Networks'' side panel and the ''Killer Network Manager'' with all 4 panels, most of stuff posted by cookeymiceter is identical so will not upload rest of screens to save space:

  • MSI Z87 Mpower Killer e2200 Connection problems

Hi there, I've been having some major problems regarding the Bigfoot killer e2200 ethernet controller. I have loaded the latest drivers, but no matter what i do whenever i'm playing battlefield 4 i will lose my connection completely. I have set battlefield 4 to high priority in the killer network manager but nothing seems to help. After about 10 - 15 minutes of playing I lose the connection then it reconnects....
I'm using a wired connection and have disabled the wireless on the board to eliminate that as the problem....
Are there any drivers without the Killer Network manager.....
This is driving me mad, I never had any problems at all regarding connection on my old gigabyte motherboad.

Uninstall Killer software completely using >>Killer Cleaner<<. After reboot just install pure drivers you found: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=174229.0 (prior uninstall with cleaner is a must!)

  • Problem with killer E2200 gd65 gaming

Hey iv'e recently discovered a weird issue with my killer e2200 and I can't figure out what's causing it.
Tested old drivers and new ones but nothing works, also tested the pinned topic called "how to fix issues with killer LAN".
so the issue is when I speedtest my connection my(with or without router) ping spikes for 20+ min from 4ms to 80ms and download halves (it's not only with speedtest but I've only managed to reproduce with it).
so I did some troubleshooting and found nothing wrong so I ordered a network technician from my ISP he came and found nothing wrong with his laptop plugged in (ping fine and download didn't drop speed) and he noted that he saw the issue I had but he said it wasn't their end as his laptop was fine.
    Link that shows the issue
Note that I don't actually show downloading here but it does go from around 1.7 MB/s to 800 KB/s while downloading a driver for example.

So if anyone has the same issue i missed that there was a killer driver release on msi site for 1.1.42.1045 and these work fine.

  • Z97-GD65 mobo and Killer E2200 Ethernet controller issue

    Hi there.
I recently bought a new board, a MSI Z97-GD65 Gaming and i'm happy with it, but I have a little problem I can't solve: My internet download rate is exactly 10MB/s when my connection can reach 20MB/s.
Following instructions of this forum I removed the Killer Ethernet Manager using the "Killer_clear(64bits)" and installed the stand-alone drivers for the Killer E2200 PCI-E Controller, but still suffering the same cut of download rate.
The only thing I could now is try to "transform" that controller into a "Qualcomm Atheros AR813X/AR815X/816X Series PCI-E Ethernet Controller", but I don't know if it would be the solution.
Anyone here has the same issue?
    (BTW I use Windows 7 64bits FYI)
    Thanks a lot!

Well, I bought a cheap PCI-e ethernet card, installed it, disabled the onboard E2200 killer, started Windows and I got 1,0Gbps in seven seconds without any other software installation need.
I don't know what's happening with Killer cards , maybe it's a driver issue or a faulty hardware, but i'm sure I won't buy in the future a motherboard that includes this network brand.
Honestly, I'm right there with you. I absolutely hate the Killer cards.....
Unfortunately, it's becoming harder and harder to get a motherboard without them, since all the OEM's seem to think that gamers want those cards on their computers. Personally, I hate them with a passion. The software is badly coded, and rarely works as expected.
The best thing I can suggest doing is using the drivers without the management software. This way you can still use the ethernet adapter, but not be limited by the management software. There should be a stickied post at the top of this forum I believe with information on it.

Have you tried installing LAN drivers from msi website? since what i can see is your actuall drivers arent working propertly so it's giving that yellow symbol to indicate somethings wrong so right click on LAN device and select properties or uninstall then when it disapears then run LAN drivers or re-scan system with scan button futher up and it will re-install LAN with intels temporary i think if not then do drivers install instead and it should solve your problem.

  • Is Killer Network actually Killing My Network?

    Hello All,
I have been running into issues this past week after a recent computer build. One of my computers either is having Video Card Issues, or Network Issues.
I have a "Lan Center" that I have built over the years in my basement. Ever since the early Beta Counterstrike days I have always ran more than 1 computer in my household. Most of my friends are broke hippies, but I work in IT and enjoy playing once in a while.
The Game : GTA V for PC
The Problem : When going high speeds in vehicles, or when in big online lobby's. The framerate either drops (I don't know how to monitor FPS on this game as of yet) or my network is dying. On the other two PC's when in a private lobby, I can watch this PC lag in game. It will start off fine, but jump in a Bugatti, and it all goes to hell.
    The Hardware :
    Computer 1 -
    CPU -i7-5820K (No OC)

    OS - Win 7 64bit Pro
    Network Equipment -
    Connection - Comcast 50/10
    Modem - Motorola SB6121
    Router - Netgear N750
Troubleshooting : I have already updated all of the drivers for the current hardware. I have already ran ALL windows updates. I have already ran Speccy on the culprit pc (Computer 3). All idle temps are fine, I left it running while running the game and all temps appear to be fine then as well. What I don't understand is the network graph, while in game it shows HUGE spikes and inconsistency. Thinking it could be a network cable, I replaced it with a new one. I just don't understand why this computer would spike and the other two don't. Another possibility is, when building this computer, it was basically a swap from my main computer. I never uninstalled the drivers for my GTX 970, so I guess there is a possibility that that is causing the video issue. All have Killer NIC cards. So stands my question. Is Killer Network, killing my network? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, any tips on buffing up my network would be great as well. Thanks in advance!

I am with JLio01 on this. Try the Killer Network driver without the application and see if that fixes the issue.
There is not really any reason that it should lag like that.

I recently bought a new computer, with the Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard. It has an on-board network card, the Killer e2200. I've had BSOD's almost on a daily basis because of this card. I get the error DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and it is caused by the card's driver. I've tried updating it, reinstalling it, I've even installed a driver that goes way back to 2012 I think, so I wouldn't have to install the suite with it. That seemed to be the culprit for some people. Still, the issue persists.
How can this be solved? The only solution I see right now is to just go out and buy a PCI network card and just disable the on-board one.

if you disable the killer LAN card, do you have BSODs?
what are the exact BSODs error codes?
what is your current bios version?
have you done >>Clear CMOS Guide<< with power cord removed, then to retest?
