Killer Network Manager Keeps Saying To Install Flash.
I just put to together my rig and im slowly updating and running it through its paces, I have a MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming I have the latest drivers so far the only thing I haven't updated is the bios. Flash is installed but the MSI Killer Network Manager keeps saying that I need to install flash when I try to test the networks speed. Anyone else had this issue in the past?
Quote from: Maja199 on 11-April-14, 02:33:05
If you install the flash player through the internet explorer it should work.
That's right.
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
There are 2 Flash player installation packages:
1) for Internet Explorer (and Google Chrome)
2) for other browsers (Firefox, Opera, etc).
This amazing piece of software called "Killer Network Manager" needs the IE flash plugin.
Otherwise its outstanding interface does not work. -
Killer network settings on Z87-G45
Anyone is having problems imputing the Internet Provider Speed in the Killer Network Manager using decimals?
For the life of me, every time I put either 2.5 or 2,5 and hit apply, it turns into 25 Mbps. Only option is to use whole numbers like 2 or 3 Mbps. Using the latest driver found on MSI's Z87-G45 board website, 1.0.30.1003 for the network drive. The best decision is to remove Killer suite and just using the pure driver. Use the >>Bigfoot Network cleaner tool x64<< to remove current Killer driver and reboot. Install >>this<< driver instead.

Killer Network Manager literally 'killing' my network
I've recently bought the Z97M Gaming motherboard and installed the network driver that came with it.
Unfortunately the Killer Network Manager's "Bandwidth Control" setting seems to 'kill' my whole network. With that feature enabled you are unable to access the internet via ethernet or wireless regardless of device. It seemingly also stops access to the router via the default gateway IP however I haven't tried that from a device that isn't this computer. The only way to regain access is to reboot the router.
After spending several hours trying to diagnose the issue I finally discovered that it was the "Bandwidth Control" setting that I mentioned above so I naturally just disabled that. Unfortunately I've now found out that, despite the fact I've applied the changes with the "Bandwidth Control" setting turned off, it seems to re-enable itself when I put my computer to sleep and then power it up again.
I can't really go forward with continually rebooting the router in order to resolve the issue, I need a fix that I can perform locally. Ideally I'd like to be able to just install the network driver without installing the Killer Network Manager but it doesn't seem like MSI offer that option. The only other option that I can think of is to change something on my computer or on the router. The router is the Super Hub 2 / 2ac from Virgin Media.
Thanks in advance and please let me know if you require any further information.Quote from: Svet on 14-January-15, 11:59:51
do you use latest killer suite drivers 1.1.49.1068 ?
Sorry probably should've included that in my original post.
Yes I'm on 1.1.49.1068 on Windows 7 64bit.

MSI website provide the Killer Network Driver without KNM
check this out
removed because I can't post links...
I did look on MSI's site and, for some reason, that driver isn't listed on the UK site (can't post links but just append uk. before msi.com).
I assume there's not going to be any locality issues with installing that driver and it's just an oversight that it isn't on the UK site? -
Killer network manager cant enter accurate number
killer network manager on network tab asks to enter values for, in my case, dsl connection speed.
my speed is 10mbits down and 0,5 up
if i enter 0,5 for up and press apply then it rounds on 5 mbit
i can also use arrow keys, to adjust to 0.5 but same thing happens. i can manually enter 1 mbit for upload but thats 2x my speed.
killer network manager asks to enter accurate numbers for best result
mb is gaming 3 h97
my numbers are now 10,00 and 1,00
if i enter 0.50 then it rounds it on 5,00Hi
i have antivirus but its disabled when installing, as sugested by installer.
i just uninstalled, so i dont have screenshots, but can attach them later.
when entering numbers for upload and download speed in network manager, it is in format 10,00 for 10 mbits, 100,00 for 100mbits etc.
i upgraded killer network software and now i have much bigger problem. if bandwith control is enabled, i cant connect to internet. i saw similar topics on msi forum allready.
i downgraded killer software to 1.1.39.1040 and bandwith control is working normally.
new 1.1.50 and 51 are not working.
right now i have just drivers, with no software.
so, there are two problems.
1) 1.1.50 and later not working at all with bandwith control enabled
2) cant enter 0.50 mbits in upload speed -- looks like software is accepting only 1, 2, 3 mbits values, and not 0.50, 1.50 -- which is weird because software is obviusly designed for that because you dont enter 10 mbits as 10, but as 10,00, so its logically to assume that 0.50 should work
please tell me do you still need those screenshots, i will upload them later today...
please, prepare drivers only (without killer software) for windows 10 -
Z87-GD65 motherboard issues NEED HELP!
I just built my first gaming PC whit the Z87-GD65 motherboard from MSI. From time, everything is installed and ready to go, expect the CPU watercooling cooler.
But, i got a few issues whit the motherboard.
First, When i installed the drivers, i get an error for installing the bios (7845v13) and WIN78_64 drivers.
Error message for 7845v13 BIOS: The version of this file is not compatible with Windows - version you are running. Refer to your computer's system information if you need an x86 (32 bit) or x64 (64 - bit) version of the program, and then contact your software publisher.
Error message for WIN78_64 Drivers: This system does not meet the minimum requirements to install the software.
I tried to run as admin, but still.
Next issue that the boot up for windows 7 is much slower when i did install the drivers. It took me like 5 seconds or more to start up as new. Now it takes around 15 - 10 seconds.
Next issue is pretty much about that i cant use my keyboard at startup to go to the bios, or change the system settings. I have tried between 3 keyboards, and still. I know that i can get access to the bios for the motherboard, but still, i really don't want to open the case every time.
Here is my system specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K Processor
GPU: EVGA Ge-Force GTX 780 3GB PhysX CUDA
PSU: Corsair AX 760 PSU
CPU cooler: Intel stock cooler (Upgrading to H110 watercooler)
Case: Phantom 820
Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming, Socket-1150
HDD: Seagate Barracuda® 1TB
Optical drive: ASUS DVD Writer, DRW-24B5ST
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Pro 64BIT
RAM: Kingston DDR3 HyperX 1600 MHz 16GB Black
SSD: Intel® 335 SSD 240GB
I am really looking forward for help!
Nfexf.Hi,
I Personaly trust more the flash tool inside BIOS. And so i havent seen those type of OS problems
Isnt that WIN78 driver for that videocard inside the CPU?
-- And you are now useing, EVGA. So it dont see it in use at the moment.
Did you format that SSD when you installed OS on it?
-- For SSDs only "Secure eraser" to wipe it clean and if must then "fast format".
Hope this helps. Mummy
Edit: Duble check that the automatic defragmentation isnt on, on that SSD. -
Application BUG in Killer Network Manager
I am using the MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming with the integrated Killer NIC E2200. The problem is, the last few versions of the Killer Suite were rather useless for me, cuz I can't use the bandwidth control anymore. Since Qualcomm broke up with Ookla I have to adjust the upload and download speed manually, but I can't do it anymore.
If I try to adjust upload speed to 0.37 Mbs and download speed to 2.97 Mbs and try to apply the changes, the bugged software changes the values to 37,00 Mbs (up) and 297,00 Mbs (down).
Did anyone else notice such a behavior?
By the way: Before I have posted in this forum, I'd checked the Qualcomm website. My plan was to submit a ticket but the whole killer technology section is gone!!! oO@Svet: I would love to, but....http://www.qca.qualcomm.com/products/killer-technology/support/

How do I get rid ofl the "Killer Network Manager"?
I'm never on a wired LAN, always on WiFI, so I don't need this useless "network manager" starting whenever I start Windows. How can I get it to stop starting itself?
My laptop is a GE70 2PE 010US Apache Pro.Uninstall the Killer LAN driver, then follow runningman's post to install only Killer driver.

Blue Screen caused by Killer Network Manager on MSI GS70 Stealth 970m 6GB
The GS70 always gets the blue screen when booting up then it restarts. After the restart it does not blue screen anymore. I've almost found my answer from these people https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=178064.0 yet I cannot install another Wifi adapter since there is none available for my laptop unless it's the stock Killer wireless- n/a/ac 1525 Wireless network adapter. I can confirm that the Blue screens are caused by the Killer Wireless because when I uninstalled it. There were no more blue screens. I just want help since I am tired of my laptop blue screening everytime I boot it up. Please help me and thank you so much.
Hi,
I guess your OS is not MSI OEM Windows?
What's your current LAN driver version?
MSI mainboard download page has a newer Killer driver, give it a try.

Realtek HD Audio Manager on Z87-G41 Motherboard
I have the Z87-G41 PC Mate MB with the Realtek HD Audio Manager installed. It seems to be working properly, both the rear and front panel ports produce sound. However, when I plug headphones into the front panel port, the Audio Manager program pops up with a box stating the current connected device is: Headphones. I then have to click the OK button and click out of the program. Is there anyway I can avoid having to go thru this step? Can't the program be set to recognize the headphones without me verifying it? It's a wast of time.
ok follow these steps!
enter your realtek HD audio Manager
go into Device Advanced settings for your Speakers
Mute The Rear Jack Device when a front Headphone Plugged in is selected
click ok
now click the folder icon on the analog section or just above it
and now check both the connector settings there then make sure that it doesn't ask anymore for you to go through confirming it each time you plug in or unplug your headphones! -
Re: Internet connection issues on GT60/GT70 caused by Killer Network Manager
How do I uninstall the correct driver before installing this one? when I try to run the .exe I get an error saying "Error reading setup initialization file"
Try using the BigFoot Cleaner or Revo Uninstaller to remove old drivers, then install the new driver version. Revo will do a more thorough job of removing Killer's orphaned files and registry remnants.

BSOD with MSI Z87-GD65 motherboard on Intel Core I5
Hi,
I'm having a recurring problem since i've installed the MSI motherboard described on subject.
I was using Photoshop Elements and listening to Youtube videos on background. Others BSOD that i had before had the particularity of using YouTube too on Google Chrome.
I already upgraded BIOS to the latest version and other device drivers as well. I even CLEAR CMOS but the problem remains.
I think it isn't an heat problem since i'm on watercooling.
I've test the memory with memtest in 9 passes. Memtest showed 0 (zero) errors.

I'm seriously pointing to the PSU. I only have an old LC Power 560w which drives 18A on both 12v rails. I will see if it does the job, temporarily.
It happened again with another PSU in the same environment (listen to youtube videos and surfing the net with Google chrome). So i excluded the PSU from the defective hardware list. It could be from the cpu, board, ram or vga. -

Open http://www.speedtest.net/ site from Internet explorer [Not with other browsers]
and let flash player to install
the flash player version must be for Internet explorer, not for other browsers.
then killer manager will able to perform the tests
