Form personalization 의 예로 form에서 뜨는 LOV의 size를 변경하고자 합니다.
Explanation
1. LOV item을 변경하고자 하는 form으로 접속합니다.
2. Help => Diagnostics => Custom Code => Personalize.
3. 아래와 같은 personalization rule을 지정합니다.

Getting adobe form file size at run time

ya i need the adobe form file size at run time. my requirement
is to get xstring and file size of the adobe form. adobe form format is already in xstring format, but how to get the file size.

try the following:
DATA lv_file_content TYPE xstring.
DATA lv_file_size TYPE i.
lv_file_size = XSTRLEN( lv_file_content ).
This will give you the file size in Byte. For KB, just divide by 1024, and once more for MB.

I think there is no chage but u can get more font options in 6.0 than 4.6c..
It can support more ms-word fonts...

When creating the dynamic PDF form in LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2.x, the file size is < 200K. When opening in Acrobat 9 Pro and extending to Acrobat Reader, the file size > 1.2MB. Is there any way to reduce the file size?

How to reduce PDF Form file size?

I have a PDF that is 22KB without form fields, but once I add the fields to the form, it increases the size to a huge 528KB.
There are 5 or so text fields, one digital signature, and 14 different 'Radio Button" categories.
Is there any way to still ensure the form works as I need it too (ie. I don't want to get rid of any fields, and I don't want to change radio buttons to check boxes or anything), but reducing the size of the file??

Are you using any font's other than the standard ones (aka base-14)? The standard ones are Helvetica, Times, Courier (including four variants of each), Symbol, and Zapf Dingbats (Adobe Pi is the replacement).
If that's not it, do a Save As, as opposed to just a Save. This will rid the document of unused objects that accumulate each time you save.

PDF Form Text Size

When I fill out a fill-able text box in a pdf form, the information for a number of boxes is longer than the space shown for the answer. I am trying to find a way to adjust the text size with no luck, too.
How can I make sure the text provided in each text box will show when I save / print the fill-able form?

Only the creator of that form can do that.

Current Forms file size and date (i.e. datetime and size of .fmx file)

We have a need to get the fmx size and timestamp from within form. I can get the name of the file but can also get other details from within a form?

Yes, as long as you have iPhoto's iCloud preference pane configures as follows:
You're be getting the full image file, pixel dimensions, etc. which is essentially a bit by bit copy of the photo on the Phone.
When you add tags and other metadata and export the file out of iPhoto as a jpeg with the checkboxes selected to include that metadata there will be some image compression. However, if one chooses High or even Medium JPEG Quality one will be hard pressed to detect any image degradation unless printing very, large prints or otherwise displaying the image at a very, large size.
I ran a test on a 1.4 MB photo from my iPhone and compared the original to two exports, one at High and the other at Medium JPEG Quality and got these results:

Tabular form LOV's not populating correctly on edit from report

My form has four LOV's and several text fields. Two of the LOV's will not populate (contains null value) from the report when i try to edit the row, however the other two Lov's populate correctly. Any ideas why i can't get the lov's to populate with the correct value from the report?
each LOV is set to display null value as -- choose value -- with no return value. when i click edit from the report the form (page 2) comes up with the corresponding values from the report, but as i stated two of the LOV's contain -- choose value -- instead of the correct value from the corresponding reports row. All four LOV's items are set exactly the same 2 being static and 2 dynamic; one of each not populating right.

I've not used popup lovs in tabular forms for a few years now, but if your using the apex_item's to generate your tab form then I think you need to allow an idx number for the pass back value. e.g. (I have left idx value 2 for the pass back value)

Payment form LOV to show only open check books

Hi
In AP payment form, bank document LOV show all the checkbooks of a bank created from start till today. I want to restrict it so that it should show open checkbooks having available document numbers and not the closed checkbooks to facilitate users.

Thanks for trying this out, but my problem remains. Here is some more info I should have included before. I am using the Forms Runtime executable that accompanies Forms Builder 6.0.8.11.3. Form A is the "parent" form and opens Form B. Leaving Form B open, user returns to Form A and from there opens Form C. User again returns to Form A (leaving both Forms B and C open) and attempts to open Form D. The "startup_steps" procedure runs, determines that Form D should not be opened at this time, and issues an exit_form. I want to alert the user and leave Forms A, B, and C running without Form D, but instead all the forms are exited, quitting Forms runtime. Do you get different results with this version of Forms?

Personalize Form to call anothet custom Form

In the Invoice form(APXINWKB), when I select the matching method as Purchase Order and click Match, it opens the matching form(APXPMTCH) and I enter the PO number and click Find, it should open the customized form. I customized the form APXPMTCH. Can I call the custom form using personalization. Can anyone give me the steps for this.

You can user personalization to call another form. However, that approach involves using the tools menu.
It seems you would like to change the form that is opened when you try to match.
In that case, try the following.
Go to the FORM screen in Application Developer responsibility and create a new record for the new form you have developed.
And then go to the FUNCTION screen and change the form that is attached to the "AP_APXPMTCH" function.
This way, when the invoice workbench calls the PO matching form, it should open your custom form.

Reports parameter form - LOV

I have a report that was developed in version 6i, I am presenting this report on the web, with a parameter form. Both fields on the parameter form have list of values associated with them. When I run the report, the fields display okay - with the drop down box and values, but when i submit query I receive
REP-0788: Warning: The value of restricted LOV parameter DATE2 (name of field) is not among the selectable values
Any ideas??

Pdf form -line size

Hi,
I have a requirement to find out the number of characters per line or line size of the adobe form.
in our system we got adobe forms installed recently.
we need to indentify, how many characters per line can be accomodated.. based on that form design will be initiated..
so, is there any function module or report to find out this?

OraErrorHeader will change the font size but the font will come in RED.
OR
You can create a custom CSS and set the CSS Class. -- Read more in Forums how we can create custom CSS.
