Kind of a picky thing but...

When I plug in my headphones into my MPB (just got it 4 days ago), and I don't have ANY audio/movies/no sounds playing, there's a really small/weird hum when the volume is kinda turned up. Does anyone else have this? Is there something wrong with my MBP?

I thought it was fine...but it might just be a small flaw. I have the same problem when using headphones with my iPod as well as using it with a Sony laptop. I would assume the sound is always present, just intensifying with increasing the volume. I asked the same question back when my laptop was just 4 months old, see:

I agree that such problems should not exist on such an expensive laptop. You can probably schedule an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple store, where they might exchange it for another. If it's just a "kind of picky thing", then maybe you could just not worry about it. You may have different problem with an exchange. It doesn't bother me anymore, because it is soft and if I'm wearing headphones or have it plugged into speakers, I'm listening to music which overrides the sound. If you take it in and the Genius Bar tells you anything, post what they tell you so others with this problem can find help/answers.

I am using windows XP pro and a pretty decent computer. All software is up to date and i do no have a virus. I have even tried to disable my add-ons and plug-ins but it did not make a difference. Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

Pressing the Home button twice does not show you what apps are running. It shows you what apps were recently used.
Download a free app from the App Store. Once it downloads, your other apps should work properly again.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

There's only a few things that could be my passcode, but because it disables for an hour, it is time consuming trying to figure it out. What do I do? I do not care about having to erase everything since it's new and there's nothing on it, but it was never synced with iTunes.

Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

I used the phone for about a month with no problems at all, even had my apple ID in the icloud and everything... well ios 7.0.6 came out and I used my computer to restore the phone, because I feel that the cord and computer gives it a better restore, it did great no problems, and when it went to the part where I went to activate the phone, I get a enter your apple id and password to complete activation... Wait... why is this up i thought, I thought I did everything like I suppose to to succesfully switch it to me, the new owner... but now its asking for some C******@yahoo.com.... I only have @gmail.com emails and none start with a C... The guy sold me the phone because he was switching to Verizon, and I tried to call him, and now the number is disconnected... I guess he switched to Verizon with a new number... Now im stuck with a paperweight that costed me $200.00... What can I do at this point... Please help me... Double check the version of iTunes on your computer. You must have iTunes 11.1 or later.

Have you failed to regularly backup the device to iTunes or iCloud? If so, the data is gone.
If there are backups, restore the most current one from prior to the data disappearing.

Hi, i had the same problem. Try to find the file "apple" or "itunes" don't know it anymore exactly. Ahm well you need to delet any information or just plug in your iphone into an other computer. important is that your iphone never has been pluged in this computer before. This was what i did, and it worked!
