Kind of complicated, someone help? (iPhone and service provider question)

My iphone has a severely cracked screen and I am wanting to go to apple to pay for a new replacement.
My question is, am I able to come in for a replacement but get the phone under a different service provider?
I currently have att and I plan to break my contract and am wanting to go to tmobile and do their month to
month service plan.
I know you cannot use an iPhone that is purchased from a specific provider with another provider unless
it is unlocked.
So if I opt out of my contract with att, and I go to apple, will they sell me the phone at the repair price
but give me one that I can use with tombile service?
I really hope this makes sense. I was hoping to have this answered and not have to drive far out to a
store just to ask. Please let me know if anyone knows about this!

No, but you can ask ATT to unlock the iPhone after breaking your contract and paying the early termination fee and your remaining bill in full.

Select the compound clip and do Clip->Break Apart Clip Items (or Cmd-Shift-G).

The system is on ECC6.0 with IS-PS (i.e. Funds management activated).
Anyone encountered this previously - hope you can share your solution.

originally sold in and what wireless carrier to which it is locked to,
contact Apple - sometimes they will tell you, sometimes not.
Remember that the warranty is only good in the country in which the
iPhone was originally sold and is not international so if you need
repair/replacement, the iPhone will have to be returned (by you personally
or by you shipping it to a friend or relative there) to the country
of original sale.
Apple does not accept foreign shipments nor will it ship other
countries (all of the EU is considered one country for repair/

Problem with Iphone and telephone provider

In October last year I bought Iphone 4 in T com Croatia. In the beggining of October 2012 Iphone 4 had a problem with charging. It says charging, but nothing happened. I gave Iphone to telephone provider in order to send it on service because of warranty. After three weeks no information about it. I went there, in T com Pozega, and after I asked about my Iphone, they said, nothing yet. OK, I will wait more, I said. After almoust 4 weaks I went again to t com office in Pozega. Now, again nothing, but person told me that they will contac service Mobis electronic in Zagreb to check. They called me by phone next day and told me that Iphone is out of order because something was spilled on it. Now. I have a big problem. On the Iphone nothing was spilled for sure from my side. I asked them who can garanty that something was not spilled during the time in the T com office or in service. They said, service has a picture to support their report. In other hand, they offer to me to pay 200 euros more, and they will give me new Iphone 4. Just to know, I paid already for Iphone 4 almoust 500 euros. I said no, I want Iphone back, and now I decide to go with another way. I will go to judge and try to get situation to my satisfaction. A lots of information, very bad, I got from other people, and they said, the picture what I received they are sending to everyone the same. And for them it is very easy to ask more money and no repairing with warranty. The picture which I received is nothing, no picture of Iphone, no IMEI, nothing. I hope, you can advice me what to do. I like Iphone so much, and as many people told me, contact Apple, they will help, I am doing that. So, please, help me. Just for your information, they asked 200 euros additional for new, but after that cheaf of T com section in Pozega told me, that normally they are giving new Iphone and no repairing. Why then my Iphone they sent to service. Probably in order to keep money for themselves. I cant do much against service because their words are last, even they are lying to people.

Getting into a legal battle will cost more than the 200 euros, so that may not provide a solution. Go to the offices of T-Com and request their "official" first notification of a Customer caused failure of the iPhone. Tell them you need it to pursue legal action against them for such an accusation and such a long-time to provide such an excuse for trying to extract additional money for your iPhone. Try to talk with the Manager in charge of the location. See if he/she is willing to negotiate to an agreeable settlement. An iPhone 4 replacement should be available to them for far less than 200 euros at this point.

Email doesn't sync on iphone and email provider server

My Iphone 3gs with OS 5 does not sync with my email on my service providers (Gmsil & Optonline)
If I delete an email on either the Iphone or on a computer (IBM) I have to do the same on the other device (visa-versa)
its a real pain-
I had no problem with this when I had a Blackberry device.
What gives. I have tried a number of different ways of doing this but nothing works.
Is this possible with the Iphone?

I called the Service Provider (Optonline) He couldn't help me with POP & IMAP on there end?
But he did give me insight into FORWARDING email messages and automatically deleting it off of their servers.
So I just forwarded from their servers to ICLOUD and then I am able to delete it from there if I want after reading it.
Works great and solves my issue.

Grr... please someone help me and stop me going mad!!!

I've just got a 160gb apple tv and running a macbook so all is good in the apple household, that is until i try and sync my movies or anything thing in itunes over to the apple tv, stream works but as soon as i log out of computer poof everythings gone.
Even after it says it's synced the apple tv still shows as nothing used on the capacity used bit of itunes
all i wanted for christmas was to save my movies to apple tv!!! please someone post me an idiots guide i've try doing what it said in the manual and for me to have to use a manual was hard enough (being a man and all) so for it still not to work!!! Grrr!!!

Two areas to look at:
Firstly if everything disappears from the tv when you turn off the mac or disconnect in some other way, this is because you are watching or trying to watch streamed content rather than synced content.
You watch streamed content by selecting 'my itunes library' from the source menu on your tv.
You watch synced content by selecting 'tv' from the same menu.
Once you have correctly identified whether you are watching streamed or synced content, you can then determine whether or not content is syncing as it should.
The fact that your capacity chart indicates your tv is empty suggests you have not synced anything, but the fact that itunes and or the tv tells you are syncing and appears to complete tends to contradict this.
One possible reason could be that it is syncing, but syncing nothing because you have not yet selected any content to sync.
With all this in mind, can you tell us how far into setting up syncing you have got.

If that's what you want by the time the call reaches the phone it is too late. Only a carrier can provide a block that never reaches your phone. Most carriers offer this as a service, sometimes for a monthly fee.
Another alternative is to use a service like Google Voice. As a virtual carrier they have a block capability. Instead of giving people your cell number you give them your Google Voice number. It is free for incoming calls.

You can't affect hotspots at all with css. Here are a couple different options you have available though...
You could try using multiple images that scale, linking each individual image, instead of hotspots.
You could also look into "responsive image maps" to get quite a few examples of jquery/javascript run image maps that can be scaled.
Depending on your image, (for example, if you are linking states on a map) you would be able to use SVG paths and link the paths with javascript.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

ITunes Match on iPhone and Apple ID Question

I am enabling match on my wifes iPhone, I know I have to use my Apple ID to do so, this brings me to the following:
I did notice something however, I know to make sure her iCloud uses her ID, however, when I go to messaging and look at the send/receive addresses, it shows the apple ID at the top. I would assume it would have to stay that way because she would be logged in under my ID to use match. I can log that in under another ID I see but then that would screw up her match, correct? So, I need to make sure that the "you can be reached by iMessage at" only uses her e-mails or phone number, same as the "start new conversations from"? I don't have her phone in front of me so I am not sure what it shows for her options for addresses. Maybe it will just show hers anyhow and I have no worries?
One of my main concerns with that is she should not have the ability to receive or send texts from any of my phone number/e-mail addresses. That will only cause confusion in my book. And, I suppose if I removed those addresses from her phone, consequently it may remove from mine? I guess I have to see her phone to see what happens, but hoping someone has input on this concern.

I understand fully. So, you are telling me that even though I have her signed into my Apple ID for iTunes, App Store and consequently iTunes match, I can still use her ID for facetime and messaging? For some reason, I was under the impression that once I log into store, match and iTunes, then that ID would carry over to messaging/facetime and show my ID. I know that the iCloud is not impacted, but I guess I thought those services were. You are saying they are the same as cloud as far as impact. Use her ID for them (cloud, message, facetime) but mine for match, app store and itunes store?
So, right now her phone is logged in for everything under her Apple ID. When I log hers into mine for the app store and iTunes and match, it wont change the message, icloud or facetime logins (meaning right now it is logged in under her ID, and suddenly they change to mine when I log in the store as mentioned). I have it in my head that if I do log her out of one of those, then it will log her out of itunes and all that as well. You are saying they are the same as iCloud.
I tend to repeat myself, sorry.
