Kindle app -> Not Working or Compatible with Yosemite... On installation of Yosemite final release moved to incompatibel programs.
When I go to download KINDLE not available in Cyprus App store... Asks me to switch to USA I say yes... And then gives me a dead link.
Is kindle not available for download in certain countries? whats going on here?
(My initial post was deleted - for "non-constructive comments" but I edited it removing what i believe they deemed non-constructive)
Would have been nice if they answered my question and not only deleted my post.

Hi All.
After I downloaded the new Yosemite. I had a notice that said my free kindle app downloaded from amazon is not supported by Yosemite. I Have lots of books stored in this app and I need to know is this down to Apple to fix or should I complain to Amazon?
Who's responsibilty is it to sort this out?
Is it Apples or Amazon?

I did the upgrade from the App store, but could find no way to launch the Kindle app other than from launchpad.
What I eventually discovered was that that the original version had originally been parked in the incompatible apps folder, and then the update had overwritten that file. I moved it to the Applications folder and all was fine.
What should happen is that the update should delete the incompatible version and put the working version in the Applications folder with all the other applications.

Apps not working after crash (with iPhone 2.0)

I'm using a 1st generation iPhone with the iPhone 2.0 update. Today, my phone became unresponsive after trying to start the Brain Challenge app (updated to the latest version), even holding down the home key to force quit the app did nothing. I had to do a hard reset (holding down the home key and the sleep button), and after a longer than usual time to reboot, several of my apps no longer work.
I get a message saying "The application "xxx" cannot be opened" when trying to start the Facebook app, Apple's Texas Holdem, Brain Challenge, Bloomberg, Tap Tap Revenge etc. etc. (although some, such as Apple's Remote, do work).
I'm guessing I need to recover it from backups, but how can I do it such that I don't lose those apps I have paid for that I have bought since the last time I backed up?

Or talk to the store manager or Apple Customer Relations and explain that you brought the phone in twice before the warranthy expired for the same problem and that there was no permanent solution, though if clearing out the debris fixed it previously, it's perhaps unlikely that they'll think it a defect. You can try, though. Just complaining here will accomplish nothing since we're all fellow users in these forums.

Hello, Premkoli. Which specific apps are you referring to? Are these apps downloaded from the Store, or preloaded ones? When you say 'my apps not working with tata docomo only', does it mean that these apps work with other SIM cards aside from TaTa Docomo? How did you update your Nokia C2-00? Is it by going to Settings > Phone > Device Updates > Check for updates, or via Nokia Suite?
Since the issue started after the software update, you can try to reinstall the phone's SW via Nokia Suite. Just download it on your PC, and then connect the phone via a compatible USB cable. After that, launch Nokia Suite, and the go to SW Updates > Device Software Updates > Reinstall current SW. After that, try opening the same apps and see if they'll work with your Docomo SIM card. Had the same problem as you. App would terminate when launched.
Solution to working You Tube app:
-Go to playstore
- Uninstall app (it doesn't remove the app, only removes the update)
- "Et Voila", working again.
This doesn't correct the problem, it's just a workaround for you to be able to use youtube app again.

Default Mail app not working with yahoo mail. Won't update.

It stopped working the other day. I tried everything but it wouldn't update new mail. The yahoo account itself is fine because I can see new mail on Yahoo or a yahoo app.
I tried deleting the account and putting it back on, but now it has 0 mail in any part of it. Nothing has synced.

A lot of people have been unable to access Yahoo e-mail on their iPhones or iPads. My wife’s iPad was not downloading Yahoo mail, although her iPhone was. Both used IOS 8.2. We tried deleting the account several times and troubleshooting all of the other settings. The problem appears to have been that allowing the IOS to automatically create the account on the iPad resulted in the wrong settings for the incoming server. The following procedure, pieced together from two websites, fixed the problem for us. So far, so good.

My 15" Macbook Pro running Yosemite keeps updating iMovie and iPhoto to one compatible with Yosemite the it updates again to the previous version that is not. Then it repeats itself.

I have had this problem for close to a year. I have an Extreme base station, two Airport Express's and multiple G4 Mac's with up to date software. Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

Mail flooded with unread messages/FB app not working...linked?

All at once my Mail inbox has over 2,400 messages and Facebook app not working. I have not updated the last 2 updates bc of storage, but don't know why yesterday it decided to have a problem with that? Any ideas what's going on and how to fix it?

After Googling this issue to death, I finally clicked on the ? icon in the mail preferences panel. Apparently this is working as intended:
