how do i get the kindle fire to use the downloaded adobe app instead of the built in app to read a pdf file in my docs ???
pdf files in documents ... if i select a document it opens in built-in app ... if i open the downloaded adobe app there does not appear to be an option to specify a document to open

Hi jimdxl,
Inside Adobe Reader application, select "Documents" tab in the left pane. Thereafter, you should be able to see a list of all PDF files on your device in the right pane. Clicking on one such entry will open the file for you. Let us know if you still face any issues.

Downgrading the iOS is not supported, and likely has caused the problems you are experiencing.

Well if you have no back up you need to make a back up now. It might be too late, but you're not going to know until you fix this.
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store
Then try:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Can I still use downloaded apps on iPad if it is deactivated?

I have an iPad through work and need to download apps. One is over $200. My supervisor wants to use her personal iTunes account to do this since the agency doesn't have one set up yet. My concern is that if she ever switches jobs and deactivates this work iPad from her account, will I still access to the apps? Work has purchased iTunes gift cards to be used to purchase the apps. Can't I just set up a new account without entering a credit card number?

It's probably best to go the gift card route. If she downloads the app using her ID, the app will always be tied to that ID. The app can then only be updated using her ID.

As long as you use the same Apple ID itunes account on the devices, then you can download multiple times without being charged.

When I go to the app store and choose any app to download, I get an error message that reads "EMAIL VERIFICATION NEEDED" The message then continues to tell me the following. your Microsoft account needs to be verified. Please check your (email@yahoo for verification email". Sometimes it tells me to check my Hotmail account which I do not have. My yahoo email address has nothing in the inbox or spam folder. Adobe Creative Cloud App does not show downloaded apps and shows "download error"

I am not a full paying member just yet, and have been using Photoshop on trial for my graphic design courses. With the app, instead of showing me that my 30 day trial is over, I get a download error and contact customer support message. I have completely deleted and redownloaded the Creative Cloud App twice already, but am not sure how to fix this problem so I am still unable to download my free trials before purchase.
How can I fix this problem?
