I recently downloaded the Amazon Kindle app (free) onto my Iphone and read the most fantastic book. 'It's called 'The Time Hunters' by Carl Ashmore. It only cost me a pound and I really think this could be as big as Harry Potter...

That is probably a lot of stuff you do not want on your iPhone. So this can be handled a few different was. For you current situation, you can delete the apps directly on your iPhone by holding on the app until it starts to jiggle and then tap on the X of all the apps that you do not want. The second thing you can do is before you sync with iTunes, look at the app section on your iPhone to know what gets transfer to it and you can deselect items that you do not want. Lastly, if you download content on your iPad and it is a universal app, you can actually download it directly to your iPhone by looking at your past purchases and download it directly from the App Store. Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately, if Apple simply allowed people to log into different accounts and download content, everyone would be using everyone could share everyone else's content and bypass the need to purchase anything. To protect against this, they limit you to logging into a new account to once every 90 days.
If two or more of you, have different accounts and use only one computer, you should each have your own user account on the computer, to avoid the need to log in and out of iTunes.

Hockenberry's book might be all you need if you have some C and/or Objective-C experience. Is this the best book in town?

Hi all,
We need to purchase a book (intermediate to advanced) so can expand our knowledge of java on the following topics:
* handling errors with exceptions;
* multi-thread;
* java socket communication;
* Queues;
* I/O streams
We've been told that "The Java Programming Language" by Arnold, Gosling and Holmes 3rd edition is the best book in town.

The Java Programming Language, 3rd ed is basically the manual for java; every developer ought to have a copy.
However it's not really a tutorial. It's more of a reference. If you want tutorials or commentary or the like, you might be better off with Effective Java by Bloch. Or one or more of various books dealing with these particular subject areas.

will correct me.
Focus all your studies on Windows Server 2012 R2 and should be ready to take on an exam. Always prepare for one exam at a time and then take it.
Also, make sure you take advantage of Microsoft's free Second Shot voucher program, which allows you to retake an exam for free in case you fail it the first time. This program will retire in May.

Even in the to do's you could easily look back at the events tied to an individual so as to bring yourself up to speed with what you were doing with the individual in mind.

Actually I would recommend getting the specification.
It is quite readable, and shows exactly what all the tags do.

If you want an actual book, then JSTL in Action is good. It is a little out of date being based on JSTL1.0, but there were not that many changes to the JSTL itself coming into 1.1 - mainly the changes were to the JSP spec. Everything it says pretty much still applies.
