Kiosk Mode - How to add a few app

Hi, how to use this feature for a few of our apps? Currently, it works for one app only.
This feature is very useful for enterprise. Please help.

I believe Assigned Access mode only allows one app, but you can check on the TechNet forums. It is a system configuration facility so the folks there will know more about it.

If you want to add an Application to your Wish List on iPhone it is possible with iOS 7, you need to follow the below steps.
> Open App Store on your iPhone
> In App store open the Application which you want to add to your wish list
> After opening the Application you should see a 3 horizontal lines on top right hand side of your iPhone screen (below battery icon) and next to that there is a Box with Arrow pointing towards up so Click on the "Box with arrow pointing upward" and you should see an option of Add to Wish List.
To see the Apps that you have added to Wish List Click the 3 Horizontal lines on top right hand corner of your iPhone screen (below battery icon)

I have noticed that I have apps missing in launchpad that I do have in my apps folder.

Click the second white dot in the bottom middle of the Launchpad screen.

How to add credits to app store for my kids

I just purchse a software for work. When I hit purchase, I never got a promt of how to pay, so I was credited directly to my card. But I remember seeing that my son had a few Euros still on our shared account from a Apple tunes card I got him a while ago so he can download games. So I want to top this up as Apple have taken the price of the software I got for work and obviusly used my son's credits as well as my credit card to make up the difference. Is there a way to sdd credits or even see a history of ballance and purchase?

The iTunes and Mac App Stores always uses any credits on the account first and then draws any debit balance from the bank card on the account.
You might consider creating Apple IDs for your children so that what they purchase is theirs and not forever tied to your Apple ID. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another nor merge ID accounts. If you set up accounts for your children you can fund it with iTunes Gift Cards or you can set up an automatic monthly allowance until the day they are old enough to assume the funding of their own purchases.

How to add the wifi app (or icon) in notifications

On my Iphone 3gs, under settings>notifications, there is a list of icons taken from my home page from which I am to receive notification alerts. They were added there automatically I guess because I did not list them. I am wanting to add the wifi icon under notifications so I can be alerted when I have entered a wifi area. I do not find my wifi icon anywhere. Where do I find it and how do I list it under notifications. I searched and found an instruction to check "customize" under notifications but I am not given that option.

The iPhone will automatically alert you when it detects wifi if you have Settings>Wi-Fi>Ask to Join Networks turned to ON.

How to add security to App built using InDesign?

We are using DPS (Single Edition) to build an App that will contain some sensitive information, and we will need to protect this somehow by restricting this content so that only current employees may use it - meaning it should be inaccessible to people outside the company, as well as to former employees who have since left.
What is the best way to restrict access? Adding password protection seems like the most obvious answer, but is this doable within InDesign? Alternatively, is there another solution, and should it be done within InDesign, or by limiting access somehow with DPS?

Ah ha! thanks, but got all the way to the bottom of the blog, quite excited by the info; only to find I need an enterprise adobe account. Why Why Why, as per the other comments, there is a huge demand for clients that only need limited distribution ie hundreds, not ten's of thousands as per large publications.
Enterprise Dev account for Apple is cheap, DPS enterprise is well, a lot of money.
There is an opporunity here for Adobe, The Pro-License needs to evolve for non magazine customers, I create Apps for a very large Automotive company, they love my low cost "brochure Apps" they would love to do more but to distribute to retailers, so we are only talking many hundreds. This number seems to be very common - Hundreds.
DPS Enterprise is geared up and costed up at major magazine publishers, correct?
I dont need all the publishers subscription stuff, and web folio's and limited articles etc etc.
But Enterprise limited distribution, and analytics, and yes, even Gold support, is what I would pay for.
As mentioned on other threads, my clients and myself have decided that we will just make do with SE Apps, so wave good bye to the Pro Licence.
I doubt I'm alone here, no infact, I know I'm not alone, just hope there will be enough of us to make financially work for Adobe.
Just a thought, maybe hopefully, you guys are ahead of me here, and working on something :-))

Complete newbie wanting to add kiosk mode...

I need someone to hold my hand!!!!
I am making a website and I am a composer. I want to disable the ability to drag and drop the audio from my site as well as lose the save/save as dialogues from the quick time menus. I have found that adding kioskmode will do this, but it means writing some code into my site.
I have tried writing code in to place statcode, but can't get it right.
I don't understand what stage you write the code in. Do you write the code, then publish the pages, or publish the pages then edit the code?
I tried to edit the .html pages with text.app, but although i could view source code, it was like looking at someone else's site, in that i couldn't edit the code. It just made a pinging noise if i tried!
So how do i add this kiosk mode - how do i edit the code?

Publish your page(s) using iWeb.
Open TextEdit and then its preferences.
Change to "plain" text and to "ignore HTML".
Open the published .js file for the page (found in the blah_files folder).
This is where you edit code and save your changes.

I' ve got Nokia 220 Dual Sim and i can't figure out how to add a few numbers to one contact. Is it even possible? Maybe i should update firmware or something? Because "one contact - one number" is realy awkward for me

The Nokia 220 Dual SIM is based on the new operating system ‘Nokia Series 30+’ (MediaTek). To get multiple entries per contact, you could go for a ‘Nokia Series 40’ based phone like the Nokia 301 Dual SIM. Alternatively, you go for a ‘Windows Phone’, like the Nokia Lumia 730 (because I do not recommend a GPS eanbled phone without a compass for pedestrian navigation).

First, I have to say that So far your only option to create a Windows Kiosk where your users and customers could interact with a
single application without the risk of compromising the system was to use Windows Embedded.
If you want to control usage of several apps for an account, I recommend you try the Family safety feature.
Family Safety helps you set limits on your child's PC time, as well as the websites, apps, and games they can use (and when).

While I can't speak to how quickly the apps will work, I may be able to help you with how they work. Once you have the apps added to the printer you would select the app you want to print from on the printer's front panel. Once inside the app, select what you want to print and if all goes as it should, the printer should begin printing the requested information within a few seconds.

a Windows 8 App running ok in kiosk mode during several months nowadays is having some problems related to the accesibility of charms bar.
Nowadays a user can access to charms bar even when the App is running in kiosk mode.
Any idea? May be an update needed?

How do I add/remove print apps on my printer?

The way you add apps to your printer varies depending on the model.
I. On the following printers, use the "Get More" icon on the device to add additional print apps directly on the device: When you select the "Get More" icon on your printer front panel display, you will see a list of available apps for your pinter, and you can select and add apps to your printer from there:
HP Photosmart c309n-s
HP Photosmart Premium C310 series
HP Photosmart eAll-in-One Printer D410 series
To remove apps on these printers, select the "Get More" icon, and then select the "Manage Apps" button (at the top-left of the Touchsmart Web Apps" screen that appears). That will open the "Manage My Favorites" screen where you can remove apps by selecting the "X" on the app icons.
Any configuration required for print apps (e.g., entering Zip Code) on these devices will be prompted for when you run the print app.
II. On the HP eStation (with the removable tablet display).
Add apps: Select the tab (with the upwards arrow on it) at the bottom of the screen to open the app drawer. Then select the Add Apps option at the bottom of the screen to view available print apps.
Delete apps: Select the tab (with the upwards arrow on it) at the bottom of the screen to open the app drawer. Scroll down to display the Print Apps section. Select the Delete option and then select the app you wish to delete.
III. On other web-connected printers, if you select the "Get More" icon it will provide you the web site address for HP ePrintCenter - www.hpeprintcenter.com. You go there to add new apps, view apps on your printer, and setup/remove apps from your printer.
For those devices, to add more print apps:

Select the "Get More Print Apps" link in the Print Apps section (below the ePrint section).
Select the icon of the print app you want to install, and then on the print app detail page select the "Add to Printer" button. If the print app requires setup, after adding it you will see a "Setup" button which you should select to configure the print app so it is ready to use.
To remove apps on these printers, select the "My Apps" link to display the apps installed on your device. Hold your mouse over the print app you would like to remove and a red X will appear, select the red X to remove the app.
As soon as you add or remove the print app from the HP ePrintCenter it will be removed/added on your printer...select the "Apps" icon to see all currently installed apps on your printer.
Note: Not all print apps are supported on all printers, and apps may be limited to cetain countries or languages. If you don't see a print app you are looking for when you access the "Get More Print Apps" link, that app is not currently available for your printer. We are regularly working on creating new apps and extend the printers on which existing apps are available, and you will see a star notification icons on the Get More icon on your printer when new apps are available.
