KKPAN estimate picks up old subcontracting PO price

when attempting to run a new cost estimate for a plant the KKPAN cost estimate is populating with the last purchase order price?
using same resource, cost element, and component as always.
KKPAN price-total brings in the last PO price seen from ME1M. it should bring in the condition.
not sure what's incorrect

Look into the valuation strategy maintained for the valuation variant associated with the costing variant when you run KKPAN. If the first priority is to take the Price from Purchase InfoRecord, you can control the substrategy of which price from PIR to be used in costing.

MB1B is not picking up a subcontracted component

Hey Gurus,
We are using subcontracting and we have a material that has a BOM structure with one component that is purchase complete. the top level material is set up for subcontracting. When we go to move the inventory over to the vendor by using MB1B and movement type 541, it is giving us a error that says: "Purchase order 4600006535 has no items." If you go into the purchase order, you can click on the components and you will see the lower level component in the purchase order.
The place we are having an issue is when we use the PO through MB1B to move this one component. If you manually try to move the component 60001391 using MB1B with a 541 without the PO, it seems to work just fine.
I also checked out the PO. What I did was add components to the line item on the PO to see if it was an issue with the set up of the PO. When I added other components other than 60001391( that was failing), the system picked those materials up when I tried to use MB1B. But, it didnt' pick up the component 6001391. I am not sure why it would pick up the other components and not this one component do you have any suggestions?

Have you checked the BOM setting?
You mentioned that manually added components were fine, but the one component that comes from the BOM is not. So maybe something in the BOM that prohibits it from being issued.
Are you creating a subcontract PO directly or is it from a PP or PM order?

Excise duty not picking when we enter basic price in contract

Hi Friends,
When we are creating contract, we have to manually enter basic price after entering basic price system is not picking Excise duties. But we are doing carry out new pricing that system is picking excise duty. So i need solution from all SD experts.
I need two options one is when we are creating contract after entering basic price system should automatically pick Excise duty. Or System should prompt that i have to carry out new price. Please suggest how to do.

Use same Excise Con Type based pricing procedure, Wat you might be using for your normal sales order.
Or you can refer standard pricing procedure foor excise based pricing

RMAN is picking up old pfile

I am in the early stages of recovering a backup onto another host. I've recovered the spfile to pfile from autobackup and have been editing it. I've exited RMAN, but when I start it with:
rman TAGET / NOCATALOG
, it is finding an old copy of my pfile from somewhere, which has an invalid audit_file_dest in it. So RMAN errors out. I can't find the file it is using to start, so I can't fix audit_file_dest. Any idea where it might be ? The pfile I am editing is in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/initDB.ora, and that has the correct audit_file_dest . Oracle 10.2.0.4, Linux.
Can I force rman to use a specific pfile ?

MM Subcontracting without price

Dear experts,
looking for a solution for the following requirement: my customer wants to use the standard subcontracting flow inside SAP, however he does not want to enter any price, as the price will be handled outside the subcontracting order. Is there any way to facilitate this inside SAP?

HI,
If you look at the subcontract process, you semi finished or finished product which you are going to order from the subcontract vendor is going to be valuated with raw material cost + Vendor service charges.
So when we create subcon PO there 3 different prices involved here.
1. Raw material cost
2. Subcon vendor service charges
3. Semifinished or Finished material valuation.
Out of these 3, which one you are talking about.
If you are talking about the 2 (Subcon vendor service charges ) then you can alsways tick the free of charge on the PO line item so that Service performed with free of cost and your semifinished or finished will be valuated with reference to sum of the ram material costs.
Explain you scenarios in details so that we can look for good solution.

Mail picking up old messages and marking as new

I hope someone can help - I have this really annoying problem and I have no idea how to stop it from happening.
Every day my mammal picks up a handful of old emails from a few weeks previous and marks them as new messages. Every time this happens I need to scroll through my inbox to find the offending messages and delete them again. Sometimes they are just junk messages that I have previously deleted and sometimes they are actual emails that I have read and want to keep in my inbox. My email comes from hotmail. this problem started some time ago before I updated to Yosemite and it is still happening even after the update. I've tried looking into mail settings to see if I can find a solution but had no luck. It's driving me nuts!

Lync Phone picking up old Extension

We have Lync 2013 and are using Lync Polycom phones as well. Our owner is having an issue where the ext showing up on his phone is from our old none Lync phone system. If his computer is not connected to the physical phone and it is rebooted
the phone picks up the correct ext. Sometime later after connecting his laptop it brings in an old ext.
If we check under Lync -Options under Phones and then Work Phone (which is grayed out) this is where it shows his incorrect ext. We have verified in both AD and Lync server under Line URL that the correct extension is there.
We have also verified that he does not have a contact of himself in Outlook just in case this was being picked up.
Where would this be pulling from?

I think your problem is most related with you profile.
You can sign in your account on another computer then connect Lync phone to check if you still have the problem.
Please also delete the certificate for Lync user and credential in Credential Manager besides you delete the local cached file.

Buying old imac g4 - price?

Hello there,
Wondering how I can find out how much I should pay for an iMac g4 17" ?
It has been treated well as far as I know, the owner is a friend. It has been sitting in a box a lot and I will get a chance to test it first.
Wondering what tests I might do and how to check it out and determine a value.

My first iMac G4 1.25GHz 17" computer with airport extreme card, speakers,
larger pro keyboard, mouse, wires, book and OS X were bought direct from
Apple online some years ago as a Special Deals item, after the iMac G5 was
available and most stores no longer had any iMac G4s. I still have that one.
The deal from a local Craigslist seller, who coincidentally worked at a retail
authorized Mac reseller but knows almost nothing technical, sells a few he
gets from people from his rented residence in the larger town up the road.
The one computer was set up and working fine, it appeared, when I finally
connected with the person and could see the computer. It was running 10.5.
but there were no discs included with the sale at all. Offers of one, were on
a contingency of me paying more - and I have an unused 10.5 retail disc...
{Instead I wiped the hard drive and installed Tiger 10.4.11 on that, since I
could then compare the activities in the questioned yet working iMac G4
based on the one I already owned that I know has been running OK. And
I also have most upgrade files for Tiger including Java & what not, saved.
I don't have to download same repeatedly to update 2+ 10.4 systems.}
...I said no. He told me he had a box for the computer, but in order to get that,
(last November, when it was sub-zero) I had to take the computer already in
side that box. It did not function correctly. I talked him down on the price from
$450. and then put the good computer in the box where the poor one was;
so as to transport the functional one with its accessories, in the cold weather.
So, the spare computer with apparent logic board issue (won't go past white
screen with Apple icon, sometimes does briefly, then kernel panics at some
point, occasionally, then won't boot to white at all, nothing. Then if I reset the
PMU button - under bottom metal plate, hidden under plastic in there - it will
start and give me the white screen with Apple icon, sometimes a spinning
spoke wheel; then nothing, or a kernel panic until the next PMU reset. I have
not taken that computer apart to see what it has for a hard disk drive or RAM.
If you don't mind paying shipping, you can get iMac G4s from companies who
repair and resell them with a limited guarantee; however any adjustment does
require you to mail or ship the unit back. Some companies won't honor such a
guarantee if they think you live too far away; & won't let a local tech fix it under
their alleged warranty period. I see wegenermedia.com has a few listed. The
accessories cost extra, as would an OS X retail boot installer disc, I'd guess.
These can be fun, but try to find the service manual (a technical document)
not usually something a consumer would have, if you get more than two of
these computers and start messing around. They are a bit of work and do
require some detailed steps to be performed correctly to even upgrade the
internal factory-installed RAM or replace the hard drive, or optical drive.
The later USB2.0 iMac 15" computer is different than the earlier 15" iMac G4;
so to compare the specifications, see the free download database from
http://mactracker.ca and check into the iMac G4 series (among others.)
The first 17" iMac G4 was USB1.1 and a lower processor series, later
versions and different builds have other hardware options. The early 17"
was the first with a Superdrive and it had an 800MHz processor. I gave
one of these away to a friend a few months ago, and it was like new.

Moving average price of subcontracted material not picked for Cost estimation

Hi Experts
I have the below scenario:
Finshed Product A has components B, C.
C is a subcontacted material and it has its own BOM with components D & E.
We are maintaining moving average price for the subcontracted material C, (because the subcontracter is adding X & Y in addtion to the components D and E, which are sent from us).
In the mateial maste of C, Procurement type is F and Spl. procurement type 30 are maintained.
When i do costing for the Finished product A, moving average price of C is not picked up (where as system calculates the std cost for C by adding the values of D & E and purchase info record price).
Is there any way to Calculate Price of A by using the mvg avg price of C.
I maintained the below valuation variant settings.
If i remove the spl. procurement type 30 in the material master of C, it picks up the mvg. avg price. but it affects the MRP planning of items D & E.
Please advice.

1. if we maintain spl. procureent key 30, system calculates standard cost based on raw material and service charges.
2. If we don't maintain spl. proc key, it considers the material as purchased and picks the mvg avg price from material.
But, is there any way to pick the moving avg price from material master eventhough i maintained the spl. procurement type 30?

Material price getting picked incorrectly in production order

Hi,
The FG is maintained with price control V. However, at the time of GR for production order, the standard price is getting picked instead of moving average price. Why can this happen? Note that the material quantity was zero before the GR for production order. Can this be the reason?
I checked that there no current std cost estimate for the material and the transfer control is also deactivated. Valuation variant is set up to read price as per price control.
Moreover, when I changed the price control on material master to 'S', system picked up the moving avg price, which is even more surprising. Note that at this time the stock of material was existing in the plant.
Can someone explain this behavior?

Just to add Ajay Sir's reply: at step "Define Goods Received Valuation for Order Delivery" you need to select your valuation variant.
Further using price control 'V' for inhouse manufactured materials i.e. FG and SFGs may seriously distort your price in material master. As at the time of settlement of orders system looks and compares stock of material with individual orders and post the variance accordingly. If suppose you have 10 orders in a period and each order for 10 qty and at the month end you have a stock of 11 qty, and your each order is having a variance of Rs10/- then at the month end you will end up with a mat price of Rs.20/- (say base MAP) + 10x10 (variance value for each order) i.e. total MAP will become Rs. 120/- for this material. So kindly have a serious look and then go for this kind of decesion.
For this reason apart from other reasons SAP recommend 'S' for in house materials.

he wants comparison report for old price and new price of the all raw materials

ABAP query (SQVI) with the base table as MBEW.

Price doesnot picking when reversing the GR with mvt 102

Initially GR and IR posted and both local and vendor currency was updated in PO history.Then IR reversed and both currencies updated.But when GR reversed with mvt 102 local curreny upadated but vendor curreny was updated as zero price in po history.please advide the rootcuase.

How did you make the reverse? with MBST or MIGO?
In that moment, how was the valuation of your material after cancel the IR?
It is better if you cancel the GR with MBST, but, if the issue is still there, check with the ABAP guy why the system is picking zero and not the price from PO.
