Klik .cmg files downloaded and ran in arch(Finally got it!)
I have downloaded three .cmg files from Knoppix klik format into arch linux system.
I was able to run the applications, galculator, skype, and opera7.5.4 within arch kernel2.6.10-2.
I utilized cramfs as a module. I entered the command:
mount -t cramfs -o loop (paste ID of .cmg) /mnt/app
I then opened /mnt/app and click and drag AppRun file to "wrapper" file.
This enabled the selected .cmg to run.
Opera appears in full screen, galculator (with libglade from pacman added) appears on the desktop and responds to entries. Skype provided a window for initiating telephone connections.
I have hacked at this problem and perhaps this method is ridiculous but it works.
I found it necessary to provide the /mnt/app directory and to enable it full permissions.
All operations were in root.
I hope someone else can give this a shot. There are hundreds of applications available at klik on .cmg and more being made available every day.
The system downloads with run command;
wget klik.atekon.de/client/install -O -|sh
The install requires some fstab entries. It is followed by a window to the klik software store where the applications are categorized and permit downloading.
Some of the .cmg files are provided from other than Knoppix-debian systems.
Firefox works great in the klik download.

Downloaded and ran firmware update ZENNanoPlus_PCFW_L6__4_03.exe. Device will now not power on (brand new battery). Tired to reinstall firmware and?receive "A device has been detected in recovery mode and is being initialzed". Immediate receive error "Unable to write firmware file data." I do get the Windows event sound indicating the device is connected immediately followed by the disconnected event sound. This happens every minute or so if I leave the player connected to the USB cable. I have tried the recovery tool and it says it recongnizes my player in recovery mode but then I get the same error "Unable to write firmware file data."? HELP!? The player will not power on and is useless at this point.

I have tried to download FireFox 4 and earlier versions from several different website, thinking the files might have gotten corrupted, and each time I download the file the exact same thing happens, the file downloads and the file gets extracted but when the extraction completes the small window dissappears and nothing else happens.
My machine is a Windows Vista 64 bit system and I've tried downloading the file with my 32 and 64 bit Internet Explorer but nothing seems to work. Well you must have been doing it right, since all of your Flash files for IE and FF are correct.
The SWF plugin for FF and the SWO for IE are also correct.
You shouldn't be having any problems with Flash Player.
What you can try is to turn off the hardware acceleration feature. Go to any video, like youtube and right click on the video and click on Settings. Display Settings is where you will UN check hardware acceleration.

I updated my 2nd gen apple tv and after completing the downloading and installing the software I got an itunes picture that means i have to connect it to iTunes,, can i skip this ? coz i don't have the mini usb cable
No, if you have that picture it means the update went wrong and you need to restore via iTunes.

The downloads folder does not save files when they are downloaded.
problem particularlly with binary files e.g. adobe reader 10
NIS has been deactivated and problem persists.

I just downloaded the newest update for mountain lion. After downloading any restarting for installation, I got a message stating that the update cannot be installed due to an error. Yet when I check I have version 10..8.3 and safari version 6.0.3, which the update was for. Does this mean that the update is iinstalled and the message was incorrect?

Good timing! Oh well, at least you shouldn't have to update again for a while. It will be nice kickstarting your Mac with the very latest System Update knowing any hiccups from 10.8.2 would have been ironed out if they were going to affect your workflow at all.

Pacman files downloaded, and saved to. [Solved]
I was wondering, I looked on Arch Wiki first, but didn't find what I needed, where does pacman download files that you later install, for example pacman -S kde I know there must be a place where KDE files must be stored, unless pacman automatically cleans up unnecessary files after it installs the package, if not, where would I go to remove the left overs, now since KDE is installed, I feel I don't need the KDE installation files, since it's already installed.

Heh, too late, just ran the pacman -Scc command, it cleared it, thanks for your help, .
I would highly recommend NOT doing pacman -Scc. It wont hurt anything, but then it will remove ALL packages from /var/cache/pacman/pkg- if in the future you need to downgrade a package that introduces a bug, you will not be able to via pacman's cache. Now, there is the ARM and the Download script in the AUR that can assist you with downgrading, but these also rely on your network working and take time to grab each package.
A better approach is to run pacman -Sc. This will clear all packages EXCEPT ones currently installed. So, if you use your system a while, seems to have no bugs, then you can run pacman -Sc to clear everything except the packages currently installed. Just a suggestion... -
File download and Upload using SOAP in Oracle ADF

I have a requirement of Uploading and downloading a file on a location. It is for uploading and downloading an Attachments for a user. I have a table in my jspx page for showing the current attachments and an option to upload a new attachment. When I click on attachment name, the file should be downloaded.
The current implementation does this using SOAP web service. Now, i need to do it with ADF now.
For Uploading and downloading, i have used FileDownloadActionListner on my page. I am not able to figure out how to use SOAP service in ADF to download or upload a file. what i have done is
1. Create WebService Data Control with the exposed wsdl.
2. Created .jspx page and binded the fuctions to the button.
3. In managed bean class, i have written code to get reference to that web service and invoke it. I am assuming of making the currect call as the response object is not coming as null.
Now i need to know:
1. How to verify for the success response from a SOAP web service in the managed bean code.
2. how to go ahead with the implementation.
For Upload: I have filename, content and mimetype in the managed bean code function. but how to use those to make a soap call and upload a file at the location.
For Download: I have DocumentId in the managed bean code function, and how to use it to download a file. How to get the SOAP response in managed bean code and how to handle it.

don't have an example, but I suggest to use a JAX-WS proxy client and access it from the POJO DC (instead the WS DC) so you have access to the service responses

When trying to download it says binary file download and it starts but doesnt finish
as i try to download the little box pops up and says binary file save or cancel . So i save and it starts downloading the little line starts across and it gets to the end and disappears and leaves a empty box and nothing else happens
Which player? Do you mean Flash, or maybe the Windows Media Player plugin?

I have some files (txt, xls, rtf, pdf) that need to be downloaded from our site. I
have an http link to the files on the web page. I've set mime-types for each file
type in web.xml for that web app. I'm using WLS 6sp2 on Windows 2K. I'm using an
MVC model for the application with a Controller servlet. Every time anyone tries
to click on the link and download it, the Contorller kicks them to a default page.

Can someone help please?!Thanks Michael. Apologies for the slow reply I was away for a bit (holiday blitz at work and visiting family madness etc.etc.) back now, I set both options you requested to "never " and retried the CMS software with no change.
I do have progress of a sort though, as a test I took a separate test PC and put a clean install of Win7 on and loaded up the CMS software (it worked perfectly) and then took the version of ole32.dll off that machine and put it onto the computer I had built
for her (using Linux) and...
got a new error code. Darn I was so sure I had found a clever solution this time lol.
Anyway now when the CMS fails it gives me a similar error but the offending module is "ntdll.dll" sooo... I tried taking the "working" version of ntdll.dll from the test box and moving it over (making sure to back up the existing ones
first so I could put them back if needed) to her new PC and the PC would not boot.
It seems to want the original versions of a few Dynamic Link Libraries and if I could somehow give it those while not breaking Win7 it should theoretically work seeing as it no longer errors with ole32.dll.
ntdll.dll however seems necessary for Win7 to boot.
So what I am wondering now is:
Is there some way to have both versions of the DLL file in the system32 folder (bypassing the "cannot have two files with the exact same name in the same folder" thing) or rename the original DLL's something else and somehow make the CMS look for
the new named versions so the system has the updated DLL's it needs to boot/run and the CMS has the old ones it wants to run or is there someway to have a self contained install of the CMS, say on a USB flash drive and give it it's own E:/windows/system32/needed
dll's path to the files it needs?
Willing to try any other options or settings you may have come up with as well.

Excel File Download and Drop downs at Column Level
Hi All,
I am able to download the excel file, but I want to include dropdowns for each column. So that using those values user can add new records using the drop down list values.
I am thinking it is not possible. Can some one validate me..?
I have another approach.
I will download masterdata and the Filedata to the excel and later i will create the relation to show the listbox. But i am not able to download(add the tab) to the existing Excel file. In short is it possible download the multiple files into a single excel file, with different tabs.

As you wanted to include dropdowns for each column, it is possible in two ways.
Way1: Statically
Create a View element with type Dropdown by key as one of the table column -->bind the property 'Selected Key' to the required attribute(Since attribute type will be specified to be the data element and within domain can have Fixed values --> The table column would be automatically displayed with dropdown entries.
Way2: Dynamically
In the WDDOINIT method of that view where you have dropdownkey element has located -->Write the following code
DATA: lo_node_info TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node_info.
lo_node_info->set_attribute_value_set(
EXPORTING name = 'Attribute_Name'
value_set = lt_value_set ).
lt_value_set shall be populated with the data that you wanted to display in the dropdown.

Unknown file downloaded and then trashed
I was just downloading an audiobook (which I do often) and saw in my downloads file called gamemaster 1.1 which I don't remember downloading (Dec 1) and can't imagine how it could have happened. It is now in my trash so I am thinking that it might have been a grandchild who did something but I don't remember any of them being here on that day at all. I am worried about a virus or spyware causing that and don't know what it is. Is there a program that I can safely use to find out? I have had my iMac for almost a year and don't have any antivirus or spyware programs on the computer but my old PC paranoia has me worried. If anyone knows what this program is (Gamemaster 1.1 pkg) and if it can cause harm please let me know. Hope this question makes sense. I am not on a network. I have a modem so no other computers are connected to this one.
