KM not capable of i18n ?

Hello,
I try to set up some feature in Portal there a superuser may manage some html page for users. The html page is stored in Public Documents (multible versions in different languages) and users will see it through a URL - iView (using language specific URLs). Everything fine so far.
Know i try to set up the superuser function using Navigation iView. My Superusers should use Online Editing to maintain the htm pages, and they should not be allowed to change the Name of the page, because this will break the Users iView for display. I managed to define a dedicated Explorer LayoutSet, that does only contain menu option "onlne editing".
1. Problem: If a Superuser opens the html page in Online Editing, it is possible to change the name o f the page in advanced properties.
2.Problem: It seems not to be possible to maintain i18n pages with HTML online editor, because it does not correctlly save any special characters like: äöü at all.
Any tip?

The answer is it is not.
One have to develop a lost of custom proxies to get it i18n.

Webi Error - Driver not capable

Hello,
One of our users is getting "Driver not capable" error on 1 webi report, but can run another without the error. These 2 reports come off seperate BEx querier.
We have BO SP2 FP2.5.
SAP authentication is set on BO server and roles are imported.
All the universe connections are set to SSO.
BEx does not have any authorization variable.
There are some prompts created in the universe.
Any resolutions?

The user gets the error while refreshing the webi report, after answering the prompts.
What do you mean by customized? I have created a couple of prompts in the universe.
I isolated the error to 1 objects "calendar day". if I have the object in my Webi query, the user gets the error. If I remove it from the webi query, the user can refresh the report without error.
BTW, the BEx query runs fine for the users with calander day.
We have another user getting the same error on 3 other reports. But none of them use calander day.

WR DVD Drive not capable of writing

i have a ThinkPad W520 (4276-37U). In the product spec it says the following regarding the DVD drive "CDRW/DVDRW", which I assume means read / write. I'm trying to burn and ISO image to a DVD. Windows reports that the drive is not capable of writing and infact the device driver says ROM in the description
"Optiarc DVD ROM DDU7710H SCSI CdRom Device"
Do I have the wrong driver? If so, please point me to the correct RW driver because I have not been able to find it on your site. If not, how do I get the drive I purchased?

You need to buy a DVD-RW or DVD+RW. DVD-R or DVD+R is not writeable. You probably inserted a DVD+R or DVD-R. Or maybe it was written already.

Device is not capable of charging

trying to charge iphone - connecting to usb error message device not capable of charging. Original apple cord and charger. tried restart and not working. don't have original computer to do restore. don't want to lose all phone

Look at the dock connector closely. If you find any dirt/debris clean it with a short shot of compressed air and a soft brush. If this doesn't help try a different cable, still no go, try a different charger.
If all that doesn't help you will need to get the phone serviced.

IWeb not capable of online store, what is?

Hi folks, I know iWeb is not capable of doing an online storefront, least that's what I read. What mac software out there can? Looking to start an online business and wondering if there is some software I can use. Any info would be appreciated.

Hello everyone, first i wanna tell you that I love your CR4E product! You did an awesome job! Now, I am having a problem with creating a report using DB2 data. I have a ODBC connection, and I successfully connect to DB2. I can see all the tables; however, when I try to see sample data from a table i get java.sql.SQLException: General error message.Also, if I try to drag a table to a report it gives me CLI0150E Driver not capable. SQLSTATE=S1C00 error. I have downloaded new DB2 drivers, and when i create a new Data connection I pick db2jcc.jar file.I really dont know what the problem is.Please help.thanks, nn 

Hi, you mention that you have an ODBC connection, but you also talk about connecting to the db2jcc.jar, can you provide me with some more details regarding what your database connection string looks like in the Database Explorer view? Are you connecting to the ODBC DSN using the JDBC driver or connecting directly to the DB2 server? We have tested the DB2 connections with CR4E so it should work without too many issues. Unfortunately, I do not have a DB2 server installed on my machine and I am on the road this week so I cannot test this at this time. However, I will give this a try when I get in next week against our test database servers and let you know the connection details that we used for our testing. In the meantime any more detail you can give me on exactly how you are setting up your connection will be useful. Driver not capable

My Delphi application runs fine on Oracle8 and Oracle9 (SQLServer, Informix, Sybase, Access) databases but when connecting to an Oracle7.34 database the ODBC driver (Oracle2.05.03.01B)(Manager 3.520.5303.2) returns; "Oracle][ODBC Oracle Driver] Driver not capable".
I'm using the following connection settings for all databases: CursorLibrary = UseODBC, IsolationLevel = ReadCommitted, CursorType = Static, ConcurrencyType = Values.
Any ideas?

Oracle 7.3.4 is pretty old and has been unsupported for some time. It would surprise me if things that work with Oracle 9i don't work with 7.3.4.

MS Query "Driver Not Capable" Error

Has anyone experienced the error "Driver Not Capable" when trying to connect
to a Citadel database from MS Query/Excel? I can get the query to work
perfectly on one machine, but I installed a fresh copy of MS Office 97 on
another machine and I get this error every time.
If anyone knows how to fix this please reply.

Make sure the "Use the Query Wizard..." option is unchecked in the 'Choose
Data Source' dialog box when you are creating the query.

G510 Virtualization "Not capable" after sleep

I have a lenovo g510 with i7 4700mq processor and windows 8.1
When i put my laptop to sleep (close lid or something) and start it, the virtualization goes from "Enabled" to "not capable". Its in Task manager -> Performance.
Most google searches say its due to buggy BIOS, any idea how i can report it to lenovo or any solutions to the problem.
I use both VrtualBox and VMware Workstation, so i need virtualization enabled in the laptop, and don't want to restart my laptop everytime i need to use V Box.
I'm on the latest bios for the laptop, 3.07.

MultiVideo Chat...Not capable?

I'm trying to initiate a multiperson video conference using iChat, 2 iSights and a built-in on a MacBook Pro. On each of the machines we get the same error message:
Cannot Start Video Chat
Your computer is not capable of initiating a multiperson video chat.
Any idea why this is? I'm using 1.5GHz and 512MB of RAM (looking to upgrade, any help much appreciated) and there seems to be no obvious problem to why they won't connect. Any hints?

Those speeds are fine for a one-one iChat. The G4 Powerbook won't host a 3-way because of the hardware check that iChat does, not allowing a G4 to be the host.
My guess is you have a router between you and the DSL modem which is not correctly configured for iChat. If this is the case, turn on UPnP if you router has that capability. If not, you need to configure port forwarding or port triggering on the router to open the appropriate ports for iChat.

I can't believe Safari not capable of something IE and Firefox can...

So I have finally switched my father over to Mac I show him all this cool stuff the Mac operating system can do. I also show him how clever Safari is as a browser with the private browsing, tabs, and built in pop-up blocker, etc. So, with his new Mac and a few lessons I send him on his way.
Now my father just retired, and for years on the job used a PC. The man doesn't do all that much save for web browsing and printing. So, that same day I get the call.
_"Son, how do you print only the text that I have high-lighted on a website. On the PC all I have to do is right click and click print selected?"_
My response: "Gee, I don't know dad, It seems so easy I'm sure Safari can do it too."
He, quickly follows up with a sarcastic: " I thought you said this was better?" "I don't know son. It seems an awful lot to have invested in something that can't do what my PC at work did and it was only 4 years old."
So, long story short. If one high-lights only a paragraph on a webpage, Is there an option to just print the selected text and not the whole page with just a simple right click. Otherwise, it just seems too long and tedious to have him copy and paste after opening another program and then print.
Firefox is capable of this but you have to 1) click file, 2) select print, 3) click on a drop down menu, 4) select Firefox, 5) check mark the box for Print Selected Only, then 6) print.
Anyone, Someone please help... And if there is not a solution can they just make it an option that is a simple click away. An option right between *Page Setup* and Print under the *File Menu.*
Help get an old man off my back, cause I will never hear the end of this. He tells this story to everyone, how his son got him to switch to mac and it can't do something so simple...

Although not exactly the the same ease of use that my father was use to on his PC, I am sure I can make this work out some how. This is thus far the most useful suggestion I have had and that is why I marked it as answered.
This utility is very similar, but not the same in that it opens a second application and essentially pastes the high-lighted information in text-edited, from which one then goes thru the normal procedure to print.
As a suggestion if the author of the program could make it a "print selection" option in services that goes straight to print by passing the text-edited step and going directly to the printer that would be awesome.
