KM-wizards for Eclipse in PDK 6
Where KM-wizards for Eclipse (KMEclipseWizards_6.0.2.zip) is located in the version PDK 60.6.0 for EP 6.0 SP6 - Netweaver 04 Stack 04?
Thanks.
Hi John,
I'm talking about from BW web app designer, we can see the 'publish to ep 6.0' option, but once we are in there, we got 'system error' no matter which option we choose (portal content, portal role, KM repository, etc.). we only want to publish to portal content or portal role, do you think we need KM installed? if not, we got all the configuration based on online help, what could cause the 'system error'?
Thanks
Jane

Please make sure you have Tomcat 5.5 installed on your machine.
Also JAVA_HOME and Tomcat's CATALINA path are set accordingly in Environment Variables.
After setting these restart machine and Eclipse.
The latest version for crystal report for eclipse isCrystal Report For Eclipse v2.0 SP1

Hi everyone,
does anyone know where to download the pdk for eclipse 3. I have EP 6, not netweaver. I have downloaded a pdk file, bit it zipped out to an .epa file and I don't know what to do with it.
thanks a bunch,
MarianaHi Priya,
I think we have discussed everything from your post already in deep (and more detailed, for example that the PDK for EP6 SP2 in fact <i>contains</i> the plugins for Eclipse 2.1).
> The pluggins can be downloaded from SDN itself.
As I have already written, once upon a time they could. But this has been changed. They are not offered via SDN GUI nor placed on the FTP server.
By the way: Check out ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sdn/devkits/netweaver/java The sneak preview full Java Edition based on SP15 is there, as well as the NWDS SP15 (not announced until now on SDN)
Regards
Detlev
PS: @Mariana - please consider rewarding points for helpful answers on SDN. Thanks in advance! -

JPDK Wizard for JDeveloper 10g
I've been using the JPDK Wizard for JDev9i for some time and after trying to make the switch to JDev10g (10.0.1.5) I found out quickly that the PDK Wizard does not work in JDev 10g. Is there a workaround for this or will I have to wait?
Hi there,
I have tried to created a Java Portlet using the Wizard with jdev10G and it did not work. I am welling to try 903 but I cannot find the PDK for it. Yes I have looked all over PortalStudio.oracle.com. Is anyone have the link to download the PDK for jdev903?
Also I have tried for two days to make the Java Portlet Wizard work with 10G with no luck. Why are they posting somehting that doesn't work? This is really frustrating. -
No support (wizard) for JSF & struts portlets
I can create portlets (JSR 286 & Oracle PDK-Java) in JDevelopers. However I feel the wizard is not mature. I can only create one kind of portlet (JSR 286) using JDeveloper if we consider only standards based portlet - this portlet is called Java portlet in WebLogic. Can't create JSP, URL etc protlets, even no support (wizard) for JSF & struts portlets...
Is there anyway to enable these features?
Thanks.Check below link if useful

Weblogic 8.1 plugin for Eclipse
How come there's no plug-in for 8.1 from BEA? Any idea if there's going to be one?
I tried some third party plug-ins (Lomboz, EASIE), but they require the project
modules to be created using their wizards which doesn't work well with my project
structure. When debugging, it doesn't break at break points.
Any recommendations?
ThanksTo [email protected]
Could you please send me the changes for plugin too. Also can we publish these
changes in eclipse wiki page as well. It will save you trouble.
Thanks

I don't want to install for:
1) I would be the only developer on my team with it installed (differing development environments begs for disaster)
2) There seems to be a real disconnect in how Crystal is begin updated. For example, can you tell which version of the Crystal jars CR4E is using?
I was previously using CR XI R2 jar files in my project. I ran into a snag (JRC failed to honor table alias names) in which the tech rep suggested I "back down" to using the CR4E jar files to fix my problem. I now have a case logged in which the native pervasive driver has a major disconnect while retrieving the data. This fix is in FP2.4 for CR XI R2. See my scenario? What is being fixed in one release is getting broken in another.
My only purpose with the JRC is to run the reports. I do my design work in the CR designer.
Yes, I am fully aware my key for CR XI works in CR4E as well as CR XI R2.
Thanks for the feedback and if there is anyway of pushing the separate download along, it gets my vote.

Hello,
I use now a trial version of www.myeclipseide.com for the JSP editor. It is much better then a classic text editor but I was wondering if there is a preferred JSP editor plugin for the PDK.
Do you have any good experiences or tips with other plugins?
Thanks in advance
Koen Van LoockeLomboz, which is an open source J2EE plugin for eclipse has a rather good JSP view. You can get it from http://forge.objectweb.org/project/showfiles.php?group_id=97

I installed "Crystal Reports fior Eclipse" through the update manager: no errors.
But i cannot crate a new Crystal Reports project. It is not an option.
What am i doing wrong?Hi, Maurice,
If Crystal Reports is showing up in the Preferences window, but not the About box or New Project Wizard, then that's implying that it's not completely installed. I'd recommend installing the all-in-one installation Shawn referred to (https://boc.sdn.sap.com/node/450).
As for the About box, it's not actually the Business Objects logo that shows up, it's the Crystal Reports one - it's a green diamond sort of thing. If you hover your mouse over it, "Business Objects" will be displayed.
Also, to start a Crystal Reports project, go to File | New | Project... with the dots, not the Project without the dots - this will launch the Select a New Project wizard. Also note that the entries aren't sorted alphabetically.
Finally, in case it may be helpful, here's a document that takes you through creating a Crystal Reports project in Eclipse:
Crystal Reports for Eclipse Getting Started Guide

ArnoldAccording to the release notes, for the JRCHelperSample to compile, you must set the target runtime for the project.
To do this, either create a project from scratch that uses the Tomcat 5.5 target runtime, or go to the properties menu and ensure that the target runtime is set to the application server you will be using. -

The
Menu Wizard is a 3rd-party software product that integrates
directly into published Adobe Captivate movies. The
Menu Wizard is a Flash movie that provides a dynamic menu -
a series of buttons that navigates to slides you specify within
your published Adobe Captivate movies. This is a frequently
requested feature for Captivate - and is often discussed here in
the Forums.
The
Menu Wizard uses a .XML file read the menu content and
settings. You can configure many options, including the number of
menu buttons, button text, background colors (up/over), font, font
size, font color (up/over), border width and color, drop shadow,
button size (height, width), location, horizontal/vertical layout,
transparency, and menu header options. The product is distributed
as an InstallShield release (setup.exe), with all the necessary
files, an example movie and menu, and a 19 page Instruction Guide
(.PDF) document.
The product website

KCWebPlazaDirk, the Menu Wizard does not have a feature to
restrict users from going to various sections (slides) until
they have visited other sections (slides).
However, you might be able to accomplish this by 1) using
some creative branching or 2) breaking your project up into
separate movies - 1 for each section. At the end of section 1 -
there is a Click Box or Button that will launch section 2. In this
case, the Menu Wizard would be used for navigation within 1 movie
(section) at a time.
