KM4M reset when 3D applications is runing

In Windows XP everything works just fine, but when i start to play CS or any 3D GAME (i tryed a lots of game, the same trrouble) PC it reset itself and starts to load Windows again
That doesnt happen if game is runing in SOFTWARE MODE
I've already tried the memory and the processor in another PC and I haven't found any kind of trouble. I suppose it is the onBoard video and someone has had the same trouble and has solved it ?

Excuse all, it's only my opinion, but I think that the S3 video integrated or the chipset in KM4M have a fault in design or in build.
I read a lot about the PSU issue, ok...That's right all theorics, but when we do all test, interchange PSU, memory, etc,etc...The KM4M always are faulting...

I disconnect CDRW and Floppy,ok...but the fault is always in 3D Applications...
I update Win XP, S3 Drivers. Bios 1.3. Via 4.51...ALL IS UPDATE,ok...
I test my PSU in my friends KM4M, and the errors are always present
I test the PSU of my friend in my system and ALL is OK...
We interchange memory, Cables, AND ALWAYS THE ERROR IN 3D APPLICATIONS ARE PRESENT...
The fault come from the MSI HQ...

    Try this. Turn your iPad Off. Then disconnect the power going to the router for 30 seconds or longer. Then replug the power to the router (allow it to initialize) and turn On the iPad. Hopefully everything will connect. If not, see below.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

  • On Windows Server 2008, local account passwords are reset when the server is rebooted. Why, and how do we fix?

    We are running a commercial application on a Windows 2008 Server. After reboot, we cannot access the application because two services fail to start. The reason they fail to start is that the passwords to the local user accounts tied to those services have
    either been deleted or reset to a different value. In order to restart the application, we must reset the passwords of these two local accounts, then stop and restart all the application's services.  According to the application's maker, the accounts
    must be local.
    My colleague believes the passwords are being deleted or reset as a result of a global domain policy.  Is this likely?
    Assuming my colleague is correct, is there anything we can do locally to prevent these passwords from being deleted or reset when the server reboots?  If not, what is the most granular change we can ask our AD adminstrators to make to the policy, so
    that these local accounts are not touched at reboot.

    have you configured the accounts to have the permission "Log on as a service"? I have seen that this is not given to the account and therefore the service fails to start.

  • I wish to review my response to the "Apple may periodically collect..." window when an Application crashed?

    I got one of those "Apple may periodically collect..." windows when an Application crashed on me, and I selected to report the crash.
    I've not seen this window before and I hit return before I had a chance to read it.  Now I realize that I had the checkbox checked that means I'll never see the window again.  Is there anyway to go back and look at that again?

    If you chose to automatically send diagnostic information, you can reset the option from the preferences of the Console application, in which case it will ask again the next time.  Clicking the help icon (the question mark) in the preferences window will bring up more information.

  • Palm TX does a soft reset when I tap on memos

    I am new to posting on this forum.  My Palm TX does a soft reset when I tap on memos or push the button I have set to memos.  I also have had several soft resets occur after tuning the my palm on from the On/Off button.  I have had Palms for the last 10 years.  Never had this problem.  The only problem I had was the On/Off button on The TX failed as a result this is my 3rd TX in the last 4 years.  Any suggestions welcome.  I was behind on syncing and my last sync was done about 1 week before this problem occurred.  I really do not want to do a hard reset.  This problem has been going on for a month.  Can I just do an unistall/reinstall without loosing any info?

    This question has been asked and answered many times here... Somehow, the memos database has become corrupt on the device. There are two ways to fix this:
    1. First, open Palm Desktop and go up to Tools/Options/Tools Tab and click the Check Records button. Let it look for corrupt records, and if none are found then a simple fix is to set your HotSync Manager setting for the Memos app to "Desktop overwrites Handheld" for one operation.
    If using Palm Desktop 4.x, change the conduit here: Click on your HotSync Manager icon in the tool tray, and select "Custom". Make sure your HotSync Account name is showing in the top window, then highlight the Memos app and click the "Change" button. Click the selection for "Desktop Overwrites Handheld" and click "Done". (DO NOT select the "Set as Default" box!) Now do a HotSync. Since you didn't select "Set As Default" it will only do the overwrite for one operation, then default back to "Synchronize".
    If using Palm Desktop 6.2.x, change the conduit here: Click on the HotSync Manager icon in the tool tray, and select "Settings". Make sure your HotSync Account name is showing in the top center window, then click the "Applications" link in the left column. Check the box for "Show Details", Highlight the application you wish to change, then click the "Configure" button. Click the bullet for "Desktop Overwrites Handheld" and DO NOT select the "Set as Default" box. Now do a HotSync. Since you didn't select "Set As Default" it will only do the overwrite for one operation, then default back to "Synchronize".
    Check to see if the HotSync completes without errors, and your Memos application is back to normal.
    2. If the above does not fix the problem, then download and install "DBFixit" from Pimlico Software: http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/dbfixit.htm The program will search your device for errors, and fix some for free. Others may require the purchase of a registration code, with the funds going to an animal rescue non-profit (Gorilla Haven).

  • Listener stop automatically when my application installation is done....

    I come across one incidence in my environment that when my application installation is finished , listener at oracle database goes down.
    I am using Oracle Enterprise Linxu 5.3 and database is 10.2.0.4.

    OS has limitations on the processes per user. DB has limitations on resources. You can find a guide in Metalink: 550859.1
    According to the error message, it appears to be related to network TCP/IP shortage. At least, that is a place to start. Maybe look at network log or OS system log for possible cause.

  • JDBC Connection Reset when using many processes on 64 bit system

    Hi,
    we've a annoying JDBC connection problem since we migrated our Java server to a 64 bit operating system. Here our environment.
    Database Machine:
    Oracle 10g
    Linux 32 Bit (but same problem on 64 Bit)
    Application Servers Machine:
    JDBC driver 11.1.0.6
    SUN Java 1.6.0_06 64bit
    Linux 64 bit (SLES 10 SP2)
    We have 6 different Java server processes (but with the same code) which all create some connections to the same database (running on a different Hardware). All 6 Java server processes starting at the same time (via scripts).
    Everything was fine, until we migrated the application server machine from 32 bit Linux to 64 bit Linux. From this day on, the half (or one more or less) of our application server processes can't longer connect to the database. The application server processes which have the problem product the following stack trace:

    It looks like a network problem with the system but all other network stuff works without problems, between the two machines.
    - We use the thin JDBC driver (no OCI)
    - No firewalls are active on both systems
    - Both systems are in the same subnet connected to the same switch
    - The DNS configuration on both systems are ok (forward and reverse)
    - We've found the same problem on different application-server/database-server pairs with 64 bit application server hardware - but not all of our 64 bit server systems have this problem.
    - When running application server process and database on the same system (connecting via localhost) the problem does not longer appear.
    - The same database machine connected from a 32 bit application server (with 6 different java processes starting at the same time) works without a problem.
    We've tried a lot of things to isolate the problem - but with no success.
    - Same problem with SUN Java 1.6.0_06 32 bit (on 64 bit Linux)
    - Same problem with SUN Java 1.6.0_15 (32 and 64 bit)
    - Played with some JDBC connection properties (oracle.jdbc.TcpNoDelay, oracle.jdbc.ReadTimeout, oracle.net.CONNECT_TIMEOUT, oracle.net.disableOob, oracle.jdbc.RetainV9LongBindBehavior, oracle.jdbc.StreamChunkSize) without a positive result.
    - We've updated Linux network driver
    - We've changed to an completeky other NIC
    - We've tried an other Linux 64 distribution
    - We've increased the PROCESSES parameter in the init.ora
    - We've tried the JDBC driver 11.1.0.6
    - We've tried the _g version of the JDBC driver, but the debugging output simply tell us "Connection Reset" without a hint why.
    - We've tried a more complex JDBC connect string (

    When we start our application server processes with a long pause (>1 min) between every process start. The problem does not occure. When we start only one application server with the same number of connections as the 6 different application server processes, everything works fine.
    We have absolute no idea why
    - this only occures on 64 bit Linux
    - independent if it's a 32 bit or 64 bit JVM
    - does not occure on all 64 bit application server machines / database machine pairs
    - never occure on the same 64 bit app server hardware when using a 32 bit Linux
    - using the Oracle JDBC 10g driver (10.xxx) there is no problem (but because of other issues, we need to use the JDBC 11g driver)
    Does anybody has an idea what our problem is?

    I was recently struggling with this exact same problem. I opened a ticket with Oracle and this is what they told me.
    java.security.SecureRandom is a standard API provided by sun. Among various methods offered by this class void
    nextBytes(byte[])
    is one. This method is used for generating random bytes. Oracle 11g JDBC drivers use this API to generate random number during
    login. Users using Linux have been encountering SQLException("Io exception: Connection
    reset").
    The problem is two fold
    1. The JVM tries to list all the files in the /tmp (or alternate tmp directory set by -Djava.io.tmpdir) when
    SecureRandom.nextBytes(byte[]) is invoked. If the number of files is large the
    method takes a long time
    to respond and hence cause the server to timeout
    2. The method void nextBytes(byte[]) uses /dev/random on Linux and on some machines which lack the random
    number generating hardware the operation slows down to the extent of bringing the whole login process to
    a halt. Ultimately the the user encounters SQLException("Io exception:
    Connection reset")
    Users upgrading to 11g can encounter this issue if the underlying OS is Linux which is running on a faulty hardware.
    Cause
    The cause of this has not yet been determined exactly. It could either be a problem in
    your hardware or the fact
    that for some reason the software cannot read from dev/random
    Solution
    Change the setup for your application, so you add the next parameter to the java command:
    -Djava.security.egd=file:/dev/../dev/urandom
    We made this change in our java.security file and it has gotten rid of the error.

  • Unable To Reset Brightness On Application Exit

    Why can't I set screen brightness in applicationDidEnterBackground or applicationWillResignActive?
    This is my code:

    Can't understand it...!? It works in applicationDidEnterForeground etc, just not when i close the app using the home button.

    Thanks for the quick reply.
    This is not the actual issue. I was trying to set the screen brightness in my application,and was able to do that,so when our application is minimised by pressing the home button or exiting the application should revert the screen brightness to the default one. Currently when i set the screen brightness the whole device brightness is changed but not reverting back to the default one when the application is minimised or exit.
    I have tried to reset the brightness to the default one in the function :
    - (void) applicationDidEnterBackground : (UIApplication *)application) {
    [[UIScreen mainScreen] setBrightness:1.0];
    this function is executing correctly but the brightness is not resetting,the previous value we have set is sustaining.

  • IPhone strange reset when in e-mail client

    Since the update for the iPhone 2 weeks ago, the iPhone has a strage reset when I am deleting or sending e-mail. The screen goes black, and within 10 seconds or so it goes to Home. When I go back into mail, all the e-mails I deleted reappear, while e-mails I was in the process of composing or sending have to be re-typed.
    Additionally, there seems to be a bit more lag on various applications. Any ideas?

  • How to stop just one item being reset when sumbit is pressed?

    How can i keep the value of just one item when the submit button is pressed. This field will always be the user id of the user logged on so i dont want it to be reset. I have tired doing a simple query to select the id everytime the page loads but the value then appears null when i do an insert statement to create a particular record for the user in a table.
    Anyone any ideas?

    Right I could see how the APP_USER would work but it wouldn’t work in this situation.
    To be more specific I want the id of the user which is called student id to stay the same all the way through the application as there id refers to them. What I have is that when a user logs on it takes them to their details and a menu part. One of the options is to enter some documents relevant to them. So when they click this option a new page opens showing a report of all the current documents as well as a form where you can update, insert new and delete documents.
    When you load the page the report and form work fine with the correct student id being passed form the pervious page. If however you create a document all the fields in the form get reset. I therefore want a way of stopping the student id from being reset when you create or delete a document. Basically if the page refreshes.
    I can run an sql query that gets the correct student id if the field is null and displays it correctly in the form but for some reasons (im guessing cos its a result of a query) when it tries to process this when I submit the field is null.
    Any ideas as this one has got me

You think we all have debug VMs with Sun and IBM sources, hours of free time, and a copy of your application to debug this for you? You have given so few details that the mind boggles. Not even the OS you're running on. From the "circumstantial evidence", I'm assuming it's AIX.
    ("Help - my <something> is crashing. Please do something!" (wring hands) (silence) "Do something, guys!" (wring hands, weep) (silence!))
    If you have a VM crash issue (as you seem to), your only real recourse is to contact IBM support and pay what they ask for their help. Or take blind stabs at the problem, using reasonable steps like:
    * Install the latest VM and software updates (and gosh, you're running an ancient JDK with an ancient WebSphere - at least make sure you install all the APARs that IBM recommends (for AIX, the JDK and WebSphere).
    * Try to narrow down the call that causes it to bomb, and do "something different".
    And finally, if nothing else works,
    * Pay IBM to solve the problem for you.

    starting a couple of weeks ago, we get the following error(s) when running applications from a network share. We don't know what causes this, we are not aware of any major changes in our network infrastructure or client/Server configuration. We did upgrade
    a lot of machines to Windows 8, but the issue also occurs on older Win7 computers.
    We figured out a workaround though: The applications run fine when launching from a FQDN share (like
    \\share.domain.Company.com) and only cause problems when running from
    \\share directly. They have worked fine for years without FQDN though.

  • My classic is stuck on a blank screen and it won't connect to any device or reset when I hold the menu and center buttons. Any ideas what's up and how to fix it?

    I know click hold on and off then hold the menu and center button until the apple logo appears. I have tried this so many times and my iPod Classic is still unresponsive! I've tried plugging my iPod into my Mac, my wall charger, my ihome, everything, but nothing works. It won't connect to iTunes to restore or anything. I've tried leaving it unplugged long enough to let the battery die and then tried plugging it in, a method I've utilized successfully with other iPods but that didn't work either. I really just starting to lose faith in the quality of this product. The first classic I bought didn't work at all and I had to exchange it. This one I bought to replace my 5 year old nano and it hasn't even lasted 7 months! Somebody please offer me a solution and assure me that I didn't waste $250 on a crap piece of technology. I'm desperate!

    Although you say you have let the battery drain, was it for long enough? Since nothing else that you've tried so far has worked, I suggest that you leave the iPod unplugged for at least four days, preferably a week. That way, if something is stopping the iPod from turning the screen on, then whatever it is will drain the battrey. However, since the screen isn't on, that may take longer than if the screen was on.
    Then, after that time, plug the iPod into a power source and leave it alone for at least thirty minutes. Only after thirty minutes will it show any signs of life, but you should leave it until it is fully charged before trying to use it.
    If you get to this stage, the fact that the battery has drained will cause the iPod to reset when it springs back to life.

    Data loading of 2LIS_02_SCL and 2LIS_02_ITM is getting failed by throwing an error

    Here Data is not even loading to PSA so I cannot edit the data in PSA.The process chain is getting failed at Load step it self.
