Kmem_free error in Solaris8 on Gateway PC

Get fol error on install from DCA (apr01 image):
prom_panic: kmem_free: block aready free as neighbor
This is a gateway 933 PIII. Haven't cracked case to find chipsets.
Have read posts on similar problem (U160 controller, APCI on Dell, etc). -- but only one post (Jun01) on this error message -- and no response.
Anyone know a fix?

Here's another clue ... I had one stick of 128MB 133MHZ memory in the machine... I put a second stick of the same in the second slot.
It got past the error and started the install process.
However, the screen looked fuzzy so I shutdown and (on a hunch) checked the new RAM stick. It wasn't fully seated.
I fully seated and rebooted ... same error as the first post.
So when the second slot is engaged (but not properly), the boot works.
With 256MB properly installed memory it doesn't ... too strange.
Any thoughts out there? I've got to make 92 of these at different sites work, and the current process isn't safely reproducible!

We have two apps servers on our sap production system. I couldn't login in one of the app server through SM51 .when I tested the Internal RFC in SM59 I got this error-:

No, its R3 Production server. Internal RFC for one of the app server is giving this error.
When I tried to set the following parameters in the instance profile of the same I again got the same error while saving the profile.
Can I make the changes in instance profile of app server at OS level?

Error while using tranaparent gateways.

Hi All,
I have sql server source and i am using transparent gateways to connect to sqlserver from Oracle(not OWB).
I have created view on Oracle database for the sql server tables. i was able to query the view which i created for sql server sources.
i have created a simple pass through mapping using that view. when i try to deploy that mapping, it is shwoing error message "table or view doesn't exist". when i look into oracle package for the error lines, they are pointing to view which i created for sql server tables.
Please help me ouit what i am missing.

Error in destination tab gateway cockpit SMP 3.0 SP05

Hi Experts,
I created a destination in destination's tab and it was working fine. But now, I'm facing error when trying to connect to the destination. I have attached the screen shots . I restarted the SMP server and got the error as shown in the image . Before restarting I was getting unknown host proxy error.
Any idea what must have went wrong ?

That is strange.
To be on same note, you are getting above error only while pinging the destinations and accessing respective services.. right?
Do you have any other Odata service(s) exposed via IGW and doesnt nee any destination details? Lets say exposing SOAP WS into Odata services (How to connect SOAP WebServices with Integration Gateway in SMP3). Are you able to open and get entity set info for this?

Error trying to configure gateway, no

Running Siebel gateway configuration. Redhat Linux 86-64, Oracle db 11g R2.
Upon adding all responses in the gui to perform the config, the following error:

I am unable to even find the sw_cfg_util.log file to even debug.
I ran evt in the gtwysrvr/bin dir and got the following error messages. Not sure if that is the cause or not.

Can you provide any insight on what I need to do? I would have assumed on install that the jre was installed. Is that not correct?

ADF MOBILE Browser application throwing Error HTTP 502 Bad Gateway

Downloaded "mobile banking Sample" from ADF Mobile Homepage, imported into JDeveloper 11gR2. Started MDS-CS, started built-in Weblogic application server. The deployed application Welcome.jspx displays correctly in a stand alone browser. However, surprisingly the same URL when typed within Blackberry Simulator browser HTTP Error 502: Bad gateway is thrown. I know its not a proxy issue since I can navigate to google and MDSCS admin page. Please advise where we are going wrong?

Seems to me like you need support for background jobs. It would work something like this:
- do request to server, either direct submit or Ajax call
- that request, after validating of course, will start a background job. In a thread, through a job scheduler, whatever, as long as it is not the servlet that is actually executing the job. The servlet immediately returns after starting the background job.
- webapp can show running jobs and through Ajax infrequently polls to see if running jobs are either done or they blew up with an error
- you can see the results after a job has finished running
This kind of "detached" system has many problems that need to be taken care of, for example taking care of resubmission. If you maintain persistent bookkeeping about jobs, a server shutdown can make the bookkeeping and the running state go out of sync. But programming is hard, this is the fun side of the job. Doing stuff you actually have to think about!

Error when executing Integration Gateway service

I created a service on IGW to expose an oracle db as odata but i'm getting the following error when i call it from the browser:
<error><code/><message xml:lang="en-US">An exception occurred.</message></error>
The service itself is working. Its destination is reachable from the IGW's management cockpit test, and its url returns the service description when executed from the browser. The error happens when i try to access an entity within the service, as in:
https://smp3url:8083/gateway/odata/SIST/ODATATEST;v=1/Solicitacao/
I checked SMP's logs and found two possibly related error entries. The first is from execution of my custom script. I had to create a script to map the entity set names to actual table names in the database (their full name: schema + table name).

Jitendra, i can't connect to my database with that string format. I need to use a tns name format, such as:
jdbc:oracle:thin:@(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=MyHost)(PORT=MyPort))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=MyOracleSID)))
I couldn't find a way to define the schema for this. I think i've passed this issue anyway. After the implementation of the custom script i stopped receiving an "Oracle - ORA-00942 : table or view does not exist" error from the service.
Midhun, i increased the log level but i couldn't find anything interesting in SMP's server logs. Still, i found this error message on the troubleshooting session of IGW's cockpit:

Is it a problem with the service itself then? This is interesting because i'm getting these errors when generate the integration content on my project. I was actually ingnoring them because the deploy was still successful.

to make this work you have to make entry in the SLD of your server

Error when setting up gateway on local system: "Unable to obtain the anti-forgery token from Host Service"

I have created an account in Office 365 to try Power BI, and have set up the Power BI site so far.
Now i want to add few data sources, for which i guess i would need to do the following:
1) Create a gateway (i have done this)
2) Download and Install the gateway on my local machine (Installed on my 64bit windows 8.1 laptop)
3) Run Data Management Gateway configuration manager wizard to setup up the gateway.
At this step, when i enter the Gateway Key (copied from the Power BI Site), i am getting error "unable to obtain the anti-forgery token from Host Service".
Where should i head next?

Its working now. Thanks for the tips.
Few things that i learnt here:
1) You'll need to turn the firewalls off for the local system. (I am not sure if this is required, but i just did this and it started working for me).
2) When you are creating the gateway on Power BI site, you click on Create new gateway, and it shows you the security key. Previously i just copied and saved this key and click Finish at this step (which i guess should not be done). What we need to do is
to keep this screen ON, download and run the Gateway setup wizard and complete the setup, while keeping the page open in power BI site.
I am getting the Gateway up and running now.

Error accessing docs outside gateway

Hello all.
I have a Remote data source on an NT box. I have set the crawler not to open the files on it through the gateway.
The crawler brings the files in OK, but when I click on a link to any of the files I get this error:
Server Error in '/portal' Application.
The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Is the URL you are providing in the Data Source correct? Also, if you choose not to use the gateway, make sure you have "Use remote web server to serve documents" on the advanced settings screen in the Data Source and the URL you provide, is a Web URL. This is taken from the Windows CWS 6.0 install guide:
Click-through to the documents is fetched through the portal gateway via a regular share or via a Web share. If you are using a Web share, then click-through to the document is served from a Web URL. The base URL for the documents is the URL entered here. This Web server should be setup allowing document browsing for the target of the crawl.
If you are using a Web share, the URL should at least include one directory within it. For example, it must not simply be http://mysite/, it must be at least http://mysite/directory1/. In addition, the user must make sure that a regular share mirrors the web share that exists. If you would like to crawl http://mysite/directory1/, the data source user can also access a share named \\mysite\directory1.
I hope that helps a bit.
