    "Your email account" means to tap on the name of your email account. Whatever it is listed as in the settings.
    In my mail settings, one of my email accounts is a Comcast account. I tap on the Comcast name and it brings up this window.
    Then I tap on the arrow under the Outgoing mail server smtp setting to get to the next window.
    In the resulting window, I then tap on the arrow next to the smtp server under the Primary Server setting.
    That brings up this window in which I check to make sure that my user name and password have been entered correctly. If those items are missing, enter them in the appropriate fields and then tap done.

    Your profile indicates your Mac is running v10.7.2
    If that is correct, updating your system software may help.
    Click Software Update from the Apple menu.
    Restart your Mac after updates are installed then try the App Store.
    If you can't update that way, there's a workaround.
    Install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.5 (Client Combo)
    Then restart your Mac and try the App Store.

  • Can anybody explain what is support for ADF Project and to solve the Issues

    Hi,
    I am new to ADF and i am currently associated to ADF Support Project.
    Can anybody explain what is support for ADF Project and to solve the Issues when the ADF Project is in Live.
    we are getting the Tickets for the Issues.
    Thanks in advance.

    I agree with Timo.
    It depends on the size of the project, user base, technologies, etc. We use lot of technologies in fusion middleware stack. We get tickets in many areas.
    In your case, it could be anything like user training issues (user may not know how to use the some system features), browser issues like blank screen, bugs in code like JBO errors (failed to validate, another user has changed row, failed to lock the record, NullPointerException, IllegalArgumentException etc), business logic issues, page may not render properly, performance issues, partial commit issues, application server issues, authentication issues. If you use web services you might get web services related problems.

  • What do you think of this book: "Programming and Problem Solving with Java"

    Hello Everyone:
    This may be a strange post but I am wondering if anyone has read this book and what do you think of it?
    Book Information
    Title: Programming and Problem Solving with Java
    Authors: Neell Dale, Chip Weens, Mark Headington
    Publisher: Jones & Bartlett
    Thanks for any comments

    No believe me the book is bad! The only reason I asked is I am in a university class that uses those two books for there course. The author messed up on HelloWorld.java with 4 errors at compile time! How can anyone be that stupid since they are the ones who are supposed to be teaching me the fundamentals of Java. Anyhow I just wanted other people's thoughts about the books.
    Thanks again for your input.

  • Installation order and dependencies of Essbase Products

    Hi Experts,
    I am soon to start a fresh EPM Installation on SUN SOLARIS SPARC. Just wanted to know the Installation order and dependencies on each services. The Instllation would be a Websphere based on 64 bit SUN SOL OS with 11.1.3.
    the following are the essbase production which i have to Install.
    Essbase Analytical services
    Essbase Administration Services
    Essbase Shared services
    Application Provider services ( for Smart View ).
    at present i am going thru the Read me Installation docs for all products, Would be great if you can give me a quick order of Installation so i can concentracte accordingly.
    any quick reference DOC will also help
    Cheers
    MS

    The installation order is not so important as the installer should install the components correctly, just install the products you want to on each machine.
    When configuring you would configure shared services registry and shared services first.
    It is worth reading through the install and config doc http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/epm_install_11114/launch.html
    Installation sequence http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/epm_install_11114/ch03s01.html
    "EPM System Installer enables you to install, configure, and deploy multiple products on a machine at one time. EPM System Installer installs components in the correct order, so you can select as many products as you want to install on a machine at one time"
    Configuration Sequence - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/epm_install_11114/ch04s03.html

    I did a pacman -Syy *right before* the bash display above. Trying to strive for brevity.
    I'm very current - the only packages I *expected* to be upgraded were the kernel and klibc-udev. I was current otherwise as of 6 AM this morning. No idea where this is coming from.
    FWIW, I use KDE3 as my primary D/E. It was installed after LXDE, but I didn't remove LXDE.
    gnokii is required by kde3-kdepim, so we're talking a good 100 MB of disk trashing. If I have to remove and reinstall both (although the latter IS optional, I guess...).

  • SOLVED inter-conflicts and dependencies (cairo, libxft/lcd versions)

    Hi all,
    After reading some of the posts here, I tried to get my fonts to look a little better by installing cairo-lcd and libxft-lcd.  During the pacman -S cairo-lcd libxft-lcd, it found inter-conflicts with cairo and libxft.  I decided it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to let pacman remove those two packages and install these other versions instead.  Everything seemed to install correctly, but even after reboot, I didn't notice any significant improvement in my fonts, so I decided I would go back to just cairo and libxft sans the lcd suffix.  Pacman, it seems, has different ideas:
    # pacman -S cairo libxft
    resolving dependencies... done.
    looking for inter-conflicts...
    :: cairo conflicts with cairo-lcd. Remove cairo-lcd? [Y/n]
    :: libxft conflicts with libxft-lcd. Remove libxft-lcd? [Y/n]
    done.
    error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
    :: cairo-lcd requires cairomm
    :: cairo-lcd requires libgdiplus
    :: cairo-lcd requires pango
    :: cairo-lcd requires poppler
    :: cairo-lcd requires pycairo
    :: libxft-lcd requires fltk
    :: libxft-lcd requires openexr
    :: libxft-lcd requires pango
    :: libxft-lcd requires qt
    :: libxft-lcd requires xorg-utils
    I'm not sure why all these dependencies are showing up for the removal of the lcd versions of the fonts when they didn't show up for the removal of the originals.  It seems strange to me, although there's probably a good reason for it.  Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and/or how I can get rid of the lcd fonts and get the old ones back?  An added bonus would be if anyone can tell me why my fonts for Yahoo! look so weird...

    Thanks for the help, fwojciec  That worked for me.  Also nice to know that the bug has been fixed, shining, so thanks for telling me.
    drg006:  So far I haven't managed to fix my Yahoo! fonts yet.  I haven't really had a lot of time lately to try to find a solution.  The closest I've gotten is to go to Edit -> Preferences -> Content and in the Fonts and Colors section click on the Advanced button.  In the window that comes up after that, I unchecked the "Allow pages to use their own fonts, instead of my selections above" box.  Doing this makes the fonts look better in Yahoo! but I usually like to see the fonts specified by the web pages as opposed to whatever I set my defaults to, so I'm not sure I really like this solution.  Plus, I think certain pages look better with the box unchecked, like the archlinux forums, for example.  They still look ok now, but I like the other look better.  I'm sure there's a better solution out there somewhere, maybe I need to download more fonts or something.
    Edit: I also just changed the Proportional font setting in the Advanced menu mentioned above to Sans Serif and things even better now.  Even the archlinux forums look the way they used to now.  I would still like to know if there's a better way to do this, but unless someone posts a better solution here, I'll probably have to stick with this for a while until I have more time.

  • Assemble ant task and dependencies

    We are in a process of moving from wasp 4.5 to OC4J R3.
    We want to be able to assemble (and deploy) a bottom-up java web service using ant.
    I look at the assemble ant task but I couldn't find out how to specify using that task the jars that will be copied to WEB-INF/lib or any other option like using a custom oracle-webservices.xml file to specify the dependencies or specifying a shard library to be used..
    The documentation is really unclear about the subject.

    What's your approach to pack the files?
    Just use the assemble task to create the war structure and then add all the dependencies?
    I'm new to OC4j but it seems a reasonable request to add dependencies with the ant task , just like when you use the input tag to specify which files should be in WEB-INF/classes.
    The oracle-webservices.xml is another way to specify the web service (if i remember correctly) and I gave it as another example of where I looked to solve to problem.
    It shouldn't be that hard to pack to war file myself... it's just annoying that when you come from WASP 4.5 which is over 3 years old and it's so easy and clear how to pack a bottom-up web service.
