Know Menu Path from Screen

Hi,
Is there anyway to know full Menu path if I have reached to a screen using Transaction Code, ie by Typing MM01 I am in the screen of Create Material and need to know where it fits in Menu hirearchy like Logistics-> Material Managment -> Material Master - > Material - > Create General, if someone knows than please give me path for TCode OMWB...

Hi Manmohan,
Seraching by T.Code Text can be done in "Easy Access Screen" "SAP Reference IMG" screen by choosing the search option.
Searching by T.Code is possible only in "Easy Access Screen" using search option.
The menu path for your T.code: OMWB is SPROSAP Reference IMGMaterials ManagementValuation & Account AssignmentAccount DeterminationAccount Determination Without WizardConfigure Automatic Postings.

  • T-code to Menu path?

Hello experts I'm new to SAP, can someone tell me how to find out the menu path from the T-Code. If I enter the T-Code I go to the screen but I can't figure out the menu path for it. Is there a way to find this out? Please help.
    Thanks in advance
    Tina

    Dear Tina,
Is it a Standard Transaction by SAP?
1)Once you log in to SAP Click on Menu >> SAP Menu.
Now you can see the Standard Path of SAP
    2) Extras>> Setiings >> Tick the box for Display technical Settings.
Now when you drilldown the folders you will be able to view the T-codes in the folders.
    3) You need to find that it belongs to which Moudule, Like FI , MM, SD etc then go to the specific folder of the module and do a drill down. You will find the T-Code.
If you find it difficult, then you can create you own T-Code Path in Favorites Folder, by right clicking on Favorites folder you can add a transaction or add a subfolder.
Pls assign points if found useful.
    Thanks & Regards

  • How to find out web-inf path from the physical drive?

How to find out web-inf path from the physical drive?
I have some user profiles in web-inf directory.SO I want to know the path from root directory like
    d:/program files/allaire/jrun/appname/web-inf/profiles/username like that.
Presently I am able to get the path upto the application directory and from that I am concatinationg web-inf/profiles/username .
But it is giving problems when it is deployed under unix or linux.Because web-inf there it treats as WEB_INF
SO I want to get the path of web-inf directory with out hard coding.
    Thanku

    String path = application.getRealPath("/WEB-INF/profiles/username");
Note sure why you need this, but you don't need the real path to read the file - you can get an InputStream using the relative path. See ServletContext getResource() and getResourceAsStream().

  • Does anybody know the terminal instruction to remove the shadow from screen grab images

Does anybody know the terminal instruction to remove the shadow from screen grab images?
I saw it somewhere on some site ages ago
(I like to align images together and take another screen grab without the darn shadow and without opening another app)

    I found this:
defaults write com.apple.screencapture disable-shadow -bool true && killall SystemUIServer
but this soesn't seem to work
    and this
To get rid of the shadow and only capture the window, enter this line of code in Terminal:
defaults write com.apple.screencapture disable-shadow -bool true
Then to implement the change, enter:
    killall SystemUIServer
To revert the modification and restore shadows, enter:
defaults write com.apple.screencapture disable-shadow -bool false
doesn't work either in Mountain Lion

    Hi Raghul,
You can go to the transaction search_sap_menu
    for finding the menu path.
    check this link:

  • Menu Path to Transaction SHD0

    Dear All,
I tried to find the transaction SHD0 (Transaction and Screen Variants) in the SAP / user menu of SAP NetWeaver 2004s - ABAP Trial Version but couldn't find it. I tried to search it by using the SEARCH_SAP_MENU /  SEARCH_USER_MENU but no result found. The transaction exists though. However, I have to type the transaction code in the command field. I'm curious about its menu path. Does anybody know the menu path to transaction SHD0?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Haris

    Hi Haris,
If you are using SHD0 number of times and do not want to type SHD0 in the command field everytime, then you can directly add this transaction in SAP Favorites.
->In the SAP initial screen, you will see 'Favorites' folder on the left
    ->Right click on it
    ->Select Insert Transaction
->Next add the transaction code 'SHD0'
Now you can navigate to that transaction directly from SAP Menu.
    Hope that helps!

    Saba

  • Menu path above header not displaying

On most topics there is a menu path, in what appears to be the area above the header, that can be used as a navigation aid. I say above the header because the header for this Master Page is blank. It is missing in some topics and I would like to find out why. Does anyone know how this menu path gets there/where it comes from?

    Hi Jeff
The only thing that makes sense for that to happen would be if one were viewing a different set of output files.
So you make edits and generate to folder A, but when you look at output you are really looking at folder B. Hence, no change observed.
Can't tell you the number of times we have seen this exact scenario unfold in the forums. I've even had it bite me personally. Just this week!
I was facilitating a Captivate class. I imported a PPT file and grew confused about the folder I actually imported it from. (being an instructor, I have a raft of folders that store sample data that is used again and again) Turned out things weren't working because I was looking at the wrong location. So it happens to all of us at times.
The only way I can fathom to elminate the possibility is to generate WebHelp, then choose "View" from the dialog. Assuming the global option is enabled and If things are still missing after that, something is definitely afoot that warrant some sleuthing to figure out why.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Restriction in menu path access

    Hi all,
I have just been assigned to limit access to menu path <i>List->Save->File</i> from the output of an ABAP report. Tcode has also been assigned for this report. I was able to access PFCG but I'm not too familiar as to how I could limit access to a menu using activity groups and profiles.
Any enlightenment is very much appreciated. Thanks.
    Sheila

    Hi,
If it is a custom code, you can restrict it by using command SET PF-STATUS ... EXCLUDING <menufunc> where 'menufunc' is the function-code (what you get in the sy-ucomm field when you choose this menu option eg %PC is what you get for 'Save to file').
If you are using standard PF-STATUS (ie no explicit PF-STATUS assigned to the report), you may wish to copy and apply the standard interface (STLI of program SAPMSSY0) to this program. Then you can use this option (or change the PF-STATUS itself to exclude this option in SE41).
I do not think that with PFCG you can disable menu options from the output screen of a report.
    cheers,

  • Tolerance dialogue missing on "make work path from selection"

I am trying to convert a 1-color drawing to a path so I can put it into Illustrator. I use the magic wand to select the edges and get a nice tight fit. But when I select the "Make work path from selection" button, I get a sloppy fit. I've looked this up, and supposedly I should get a dialogue box asking me to state the tolerance. I have never seen that box - I've tried it and had colleagues come try it. My version 13.1.2 x64. Seems like a bug to me, but maybe I'm missing something. Is there another way to do this? Thank.s

    R_Kelly wrote:
If you press the Alt/Option key while pressing the Make work path from selection button, then you'll get the Tolerance dialog.
Other ways are to right click inside the selection and choose Make Work Path or use the flyout menu from the Paths panel and choose Make Work Path.
Hah!  I didn't know that RK
[EDIT]  As an aside to the above information, having had a play with it, I have realised how poorly the 'Make work path from selection' feature works in Photoshop.  It has always worried me that distibution of points that result from using that feature on a Shift drag eliptical marquee circle, appear less than optimal, but I have just lived with that because it is quick and convenient.  But having just looked again, zooming right in and activating the point handles, the curve is just plain horrible!
Me thinks I shall take the time to do it properly in future, by using the Shape tool.
It also amazed me how many points were used when setting tolerance to the minimum of .5
Anyway...  I am not getting my work done here, so time to earn a living

  • HOW TO FIND MENU PATH FOR A TCODE

PLZ TELL ME HOW TO FIND MENU PATH FOR A TCODE .
I HAVE MADE A MENU ENHANCEMENT  WITH TCODE +DW2.
IT MENU PATH IS NOT TRACEABLE.

    Hi Madan,
It is in the transaction code <b>S001</b>.
Check my previous post on this.
It is not listed on the SAP Menu. Thats why SEARCH_SAP_MENU returns nothing...
<b>Go to the Initial Screen and then type /n in the TCODE.
From there now type S001 to go to transaction S001.</b>
The other ways do not work. Like combining both in a single step : "/ns001".
